Dealing with Hyundai of Moreno Valley was a refreshing experience compared to many I have had. Jay Saeed, Michael Jacobs, and the entire Hyundai of Moreno Valley staff were helpful, honest, and upfront through all steps of the car-buying process. We were not pressured, confused, or blindsided in any way; the entire staff are professionals and acted like it. I got a good deal as well. We had to wait a little longer on the day of the sale, but everything was completed in one day (unlike some sleazy dealers who will make you pay more after the deal is done). I highly recommend this dealership. I will certainly be back when I look for another car.

Great customer service, less than perfect transaction

I'll start this off by saying buying a car is never fun. Picking out the perfect vehicle, test driving, negotiating and then the dreaded "finance guy" at the end. It's a long, tiring, mentally taxing process leaving you excited and terrified at the end. My experience at Temecula Nissan was decent but there were definitely snags. We'll start with my sales guy Josue. Beginning to end he was very pleasant, not high pressure, and provided incredible customer service. If I were to stop here I would give 5 stars without hesitation. Of course the car buying transaction is broken into three main parts, salesperson, vehicle and finance. This is where things become less than perfect and I want to say for the record I'm artificially weighting Josue's piece to make 4 stars. If I were weighting things evenly I'd probably say it was 3.5 stars. Why did I give him more weight? Because the vehicle was less than perfect and the after service didn't go as planned. It was Josue that made this bearable by going the extra mile. He was pleasant and accommodating throughout the entire process. The vehicle was a slightly abused Nissan Maxima Platinum edition. Someone had smoked inside and clearly (in hindsight) didn't take terribly good care of the paint. The car was otherwise in good condition with low miles and had everything I was looking for, which is why I considered it. Josue offered to have the smoke smell and a couple door dings removed and it was written into my contract. On the day I took it in for this service I was expecting 3 hours (which is what Josue thought it would take) only to find out it needed to stay overnight. They provided me with a loaner Maxima and Josue offered to drive my Maxima back to me (45 miles away) the next day for my troubles. The car was delivered the next day as promised with 0 smoke smell, fresh and clean. Not artificially masked. Unfortunately the door dings (apparently) couldn't be removed. There was trouble in finance (isn't there always) as they thought they would be able to get me a substantially lower interest rate so I signed the contract with that interest rate in mind. Unfortunately they weren't able to go as low as they had hoped (but lower than what I myself got pre-approved for) so Josue (again) drove the new contract down to be signed. The payment quoted was correct and without the finance guy to explain the charges I signed the agreement. They mailed my copy to me and the problem with signing paperwork away from the dealer became apparent. There was a charge for cancelation (which I signed I didn't want and wasn't present on the first contract) of $417. But, I had already signed the new agreement (my fault for not dealing directly with finance). The car, well there has clearly been rear bumper damage (clean carfax) as there is a very dull large spot on my bumper that didn't show up when I bought the car (maybe it had a good wax job) and the paint is pretty scratched up (black car) which also didn't show up until I washed it. Most of this can be buffed out and the bumper repaired but definitely a fair amount of work for a certified used car. Long story short, pay attention to every detail with this dealer. My experience could have been isolated but just food for thought. I will say this, they were very pleasant to deal with and they did do (most) of what they promised. Josue 6 stars, car 3 stars, finance 3 stars.

Friendly service, less than transaction

Reasonable Sales Person, Comfortable Customer Area

Did internet pricing first. Was able to agree on a price over the phone. Once I got there Madge tried to mark it up by $600 but I stood my ground. She didn't argue and got someone else. He tried to offer me much less than I wanted for my trade in. When I stood my ground and stated what I wanted for my trade in and the sales price he agreed to the sales price and gave me the price I could have gotten through a private party sale on my used vehicle. The guy who did the final paperwork was annoying because he kept trying to sell me warranties, Lo jack, etc. I firmly told him no but he wouldn't back down or stop running his mouth about the products. Sure they tried to find reasons to jack up the over the phone agreed upon price with some nonsense about being a recent college grad, and tried to low ball me on my trad in but, I cam prepared with internet pricing from other dealerships. They knew I had been to other dealers and would walk out which I almost did, but as I was gathering up my paperwork the guy wrote down the figures that I wanted. He was very polite and actually gave me some good advice about not putting additional money down in addition to the trade in because the loans have no pre payment penalty. Getting back to Madge she is the best of the best a person who is upfront, polite, and on point. Doesn't get made when you don't agree with her. She is very well dressed and professional. I gave her and another man a really hard time and they were very nice to me in return. The dealership is huge with a huge inventory. The waiting room is A-1-A with a play room for the kids, ice cold bottled water, cookies, coffee, tea, popcorn which is just the thing a family like mine needed after a long trip and to survive while waiting for the deal to go through. I love my Nissan Xterra and it came with more things then Madge knew that it came with (LOL). I got a GREAT deal. No regrets. Would go back to this place in a heart beat. Would have given them all 5 stars except for the fact that the guy with the final paperwork acted nice at first then started talking to me in a condescending fashion and would not stop when I told him to with the up-selling. Actually no harm was done and I was proud of the way I stood my ground through my bottom line price negotiation. Best to do all home work, write everything down and print out all other offers. Driving my new vehicle and loving it. Glad to have gotten rid of my dirty old truck for top $$$.

Needed a very nice vehicle for family to use as alternate and for son in Law School. We settled on an 2014 Altima S. We live 250 mi away in Nevada, but Metro internet reps were easy to access and tremendously responsive. Fair negotiations, car was ready in 24 hrs. Made the long drive there tp pick up and staff was friendly and helpful. Car was prepared, immaculate. Financing team was thorough, offered extended warranties, transport permits, in and out in 45 minutes. GREAT Experience

All Around Great Experience For a First Time Buyer

I had seen Hertz inventory on cars.com and was drawn to the Mazda 3's being they are some of the most inexpensive cars on the lot. I walked in as a first time buyer nervous about the process but I was greeted by David Duarte and he made things comfortable for me from the get go. Letting me check out different Mazda 3's even if they were the same color and make ( I looked at like 4 silver ones lol). I was approved an out of there in an extremely timely matter considering the horror stories Iv heard from typical dealerships and how busy it was that day. The best thing about the entire experience is the no haggle/no pressure, I read that on some reviews and was skeptical until my experience. David put no pressure/ salesmanish tactics on me during any part of the process and Im extremely grateful! Ask for David Duarte, he's the man!

This entire experience was so much easier than I expected. I found a few cars that I wanted to test drive and applied for a loan online. Within thirty minutes I was contacted by Steve. Steve wasn't going to be in the day I planned on coming in so he referred me to Decar. My husband and I were immediately greeted by Decar. He knew what cars I wanted to see and took us out for a test drive. He answered all of our questions without any pressure. My loan was processed quickly and the entire experience was excellent. I definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new car.
