New Jeep Grand Cherokee Owners No Pressure Buying Experience

We headed out to Westborn Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-RAM last Thursday to test drive one of the newer models, only sure of one thing: we weren???t buying a vehicle that night. After meeting Mike Poupore in the parking lot, he listened to what we were looking for and made great recommendations for three different Jeep products: the Compass, Cherokee, and Grand Cherokee, three different names / three different styles all together. We walked by examples of each and he pointed out various difference between those three vehicles. Admittedly, I???m a guy who???s always looking for a great deal (aka, a ???tightwad???), so I simply asked Mike, ???If you were standing in my shoes, which vehicle would you seriously consider tonight???? Mike stepped back, contemplated my question and answered, ???I know you said you weren???t thrilled about silver, but I have a beautifully equipped 2018 Grand Cherokee Laredo on the other side of the lot. Now I need to let you know that it???s ???Billet Sliver??? but I don???t think it???s the color you???re thinking of. Do you want to check it out???? Based on the ease of our conversation I felt that I had to at least check out what Mike just recommended. As soon as we saw this vehicle I told Mike, ???You weren???t kidding! That???s NOT the ???silver??? I was expecting!??? Mike explained some great features that were uniquely included in this very vehicle???s options: 18??? aluminum wheels and an 8½-inch screen instead of the standard display. This vehicle had all the features we really wanted without skyrocketing the price with a bunch of unnecessary luxuries. Mike offered us a test drive and within 2 miles our minds were made up: we wanted this Grand Cherokee Laredo but we just had to make things work within our budget. We thought for sure we???d be coming back next week to finalize the deal but Mike worked out the numbers to get us to drive that beautiful machine home that same night. Unbeknownst to us, while we Mike was sharpening his pencil to work around our budget, he had his staff doing final prep and detailing the vehicle. While the finance team was completing the details of our deal, Mike took us out to our vehicle and invested the next half hour showing us features, explaining how to make voice calls, pairing both of our phones, explaining our free SiriusXM subscription and pre-programing our radio channels??? I???m sure he deals with dozens of customers each month, but he truly made my family feel as if we were his most important client in that moment: We never felt pressured because Mike took the time to understand our needs and was professional at every level. This guy???s a master-salesman, for no other reason than the fact that Mike genuinely cares about the people that walk through Westborn???s doors. Purchasing this vehicle was such an easy and comfortable experience! All of a sudden we were happy to sign on the dotted line and drive a SILVER Grand Cherokee home THAT NIGHT! My wife and I are proud to finally be official members of the Jeep family!
