bought my 2009 limited pzev 2.5i with 23k, one owner. I broke 4 wheel bearings, 2 cats (recalled), the radiator, and an oil sensor. there were 9 recalls which is a bit sketchy. I bought the car as a test really - to see if subaru's really are unbreakable, reliable, and cheap to maintain...im not exactly disappointed... the car currently has 160k of HARD miles. I purposely put a beating on this thing. I tried to get it stuck in deep snow and NOT ONCE would it get stuck. every morning hot or cold it turns right over. engine light came on one time at 150k for an oil pressure sensor ($120), but that's it. the drive train feels invincible - I literally cant break it - I see another 160k added with ease. as for reliability - anything that broke was my fault, or recalled. I think the front end is ugly, its a little long for a car, and everything about it is incredibly basic, but for an overall review I can honestly say this car is great. a little expensive for the basic features, wish I got the GT, but as reliable as they say Subaru's are. 11/10 in terms of mechanics and reliability.

My old car was my third minivan in 15 years. Now that my kids are older and leaving for college, I wanted something that could carry 6 or 7 passengers but was ... well... NOT a minivan. I did some research on late model used three-row SUVs, and found the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder. (My favorite of my three vans was a 2005 Nissan Quest, so choosing Nissan was easy for me.) Before I started browsing for cars, I applied for credit through Carvana, and was approved. Next, I entered in all of the information about the van I was trading for the Pathfinder. (Beware -- the trade-in amount is only good for 7 days, and it can change wildly in that time!) I was pleased with the trade amount, and it was great that I could shop for my new car and see my down payment and monthly payment for every car I viewed! My specifications were pretty clear -- AWD, less than 10,000 miles, and never a rental car. I found my dream car a few days later, and started the purchase process. It was quite smooth and the directions were very clear about what documents need to be uploaded. When I went to click on "finalize purchase" (or something like that), a red flag popped up...my trade-in value expired WHILE I WAS IN THE PROCESS OF CHECKING OUT! I got on chat with Carvana staff right away, and they were able to return the trade in value to NEARLY what it was before the expiration. This is something that needs to be addressed by Carvana -- once a customer is to a certain point in the process, those numbers need to be frozen. So we set a delivery time, and the Carvana rep was pretty much on time considering he was traveling 70 miles or so from the Chicago office. Everything was smooth -- signed a couple more papers, took my Pathfinder for a spin, Eric inspected my trade, and I left within 30 minutes with my new car. I would also like to add that I drove directly to my mechanic, so he could inspect the car and make sure I wasn't buying something with hidden damage. Mechanic said to me, "This car is perfect, like new." Just what I wanted to hear. Thanks Carvana! I am telling everyone I know about you guys. Good to work with you! Janet - 2017 Nissan Pathfinder

I left an unfavorable review below because I did not receive good customer service when we purchased the car. The store manager called me personally to apologize and will address with his team. He also sent me the operators manual for the car that we purchased since the salesman that sold me that car told me that the car is purchased as is without it. I took my new VW Golf in for its regular service (oil change). I made the appointment at a time convenient for me and arrived a couple minutes before the 9AM scheduled time. Since it was (hopefully) a quick service, I decided to just wait it out in the Lokey VW waiting room. The service advisor was courteous and had my car pulled in to the bay within moments of me signing in. I had been waiting about 20 minutes when the service advisor came to let me know the oil change and multi-point inspection was complete and everything was good to go. He then asked if I would like my car to be washed and after saying yes, I settled in for about 15 more minutes before he came back to give me the paperwork and my keys and point me to my now clean and shiny and serviced car waiting up front. While I was waiting I had the opportunity to see another of the service advisors, Antonio, who has assisted me with other requests for this car in the past. Since I was hearing a sound that I wanted to be checked to confirm it was not something going wrong, I asked Antonio if he could check it out for me. Without hesitation, Antonio took the key and I jumped in as a passenger; he took my car around the block so I could point out the sound I was hearing that concerned me. Antonio quick diagnosed the sound as the turbo blow-off sound and that it was completely normal, setting my apprehension at ease (I was about to make a long road trip and certainly did to want to encounter any problems with the car while I was on the road). They say that when you buy a car, your relationship with the salesperson can be a good thing but the essential component of any car sale is the relationship and trust you have with the service staff since the sale is one-and-done but the service relationship is ongoing. Well, the service I receive from Lokey VW is second to none - I can put a check mark in all four of the boxes that are important to me: friendly staff, timely service, quality delivery, and value for the service! Keep up the good work guys!

So our intentions were to be "only looking" at the Subaru Crosstrek. We were greeted by one of the managers and he directed us to Yvonne Peterson. She was patient with answering our questions and showed us the features of the various trims and allowed my wife to drive a 2019 Subaru Crosstrek. Yvonne is the type of person one feels comfortable with within a short time. She is experienced. At no time did we feel pressured by her or anyone at the dealership. She spent a lot of time with us (~4 hours) and we ended up purchasing the car. Although no haggling, they had a good price on the car and it was below sticker price. I felt we had a better experience here than another Subaru dealership in Tampa where we purchased my son's 2017 Subaru Impreza. Also dealt with Andre Selec the financial manager, who again did not pressure us when it came to getting warrantee information. Overall a great no pressure experience and yes I would return to buy a car from them again.

I had been researching new cars as the time was coming when I would need a new one. Planned on visiting 4 or 5 different dealers for test drives and to ask questions. After being underwhelmed at the first dealer, on a whim, I stopped at Fitzgerald Countryside (which was on my list) and it was my last stop. Best impulse move I have ever made! Such a positive experience! I was walking around the parking lot looking at my preferred vehicle and color when Rudin Peqini came and introduced himself. He listened patiently to my long ramble, processed the important points and suggested a car I hadn't seen. It was perfect! He's good!! I delayed the test drive as it was getting late and I wanted to drive in the daylight so I could concentrate on the car. Happy I did. Drove it a day later and bought it. The car was already detailed so there was no delay. The buying process is absolutely no pressure, no cajoling, no haggling and I felt that I drove away with the best deal I could have made. Rudin made sure at every step of the way that I understood exactly what I was getting and assured me over and over that I was free to call him or come by if there was any sort of problem. His patience is legendary as I asked him several times to explain the warranty. I couldn't believe how thorough and comprehensive it was. It was as though he was taking care of a family member. Rudin Peqini is definitely an asset to the dealership! The closing of the purchase was smooth and enjoyable. Alec Selec is through, personable and a pleasure to do business with. He offered some extras which I declined and there was no pressure or persuading. He is respectful of your decision. Another great asset. So, with all this gushing, I guess you know I LOVE this dealership. I held off buying a new car because of past experiences. Never again!! Fitzgerald Countryside has my business and, hopefully, the business of anyone I talk to. They are the top of the line!

I drove this 15 Legacy Premium for a year now, bought it certified used, with 60000 miles on it, I put 20000 in one year and had 3 major brake downs with the car: 1) oil seals were leaking and needed replaced 2) transmission valve body needed replacement Both luckily were covered by warranty 3) starter was loose and needed to be re tighten that was not covered by warranty Other than that the car does give good gas mileage, drives well, and has good features. I’m glad I had the certified used but I can’t imagine buying this car with no warranty

We drove 2 hours to get to this dealership and it was well worth the drive. We originally came to buy a Forester XT and drove home with an Ascent Touring. We could not be happier. The dealership was clean and spacious. Our salesman, Troy, was amazing, kind, compassionate, and caring. We are so grateful we got set-up with him. He could not have been any more accommodating and just a wonderful guy all-around. He went above and beyond that day and the days after too. He even called to check and made sure that we made it home safely since we left the dealership at around 8pm and had a long drive home. We had some paperwork to finish up in the days following our visit and he drove to our house, 2 hours away and on a Sunday morning, so we would not have to drive back there. Troy is an asset to the Subaru team and someone we'd refer anyone too. He is officially our Subaru guy! I want to mention Sher as well. She was as equally as wonderful to work with. She took care of us the day before and set us up with Troy. She visited with us throughout our visit and made things go smoothly. Hold onto Sher, she is wonderful too!

Engine and mileage troubles

It's a pretty little car. I got the white. It does have excellent outboard visibility which was important to me . The seats are comfortable and I wanted it for the safety ranking, the AWD and the visibility all of which are as promised. It is the smallest car I've had in 40 years but has room for what I need at my age. However it did not get better than 19 mpg city and highway and they had to put a new engine in it. Now it is averaging 24 and can get 32 on the hwy in favorable conditions. I like the heated sets on the lowest setting and am happy to have the back up camera although it is nearly useless after dark-very blurry. I think it accelerates fast enough. I am not happy to not have retained auxiliary power which I thought was standard on something at this price : $26,0000. It is a huge nuisance to have to turn the car back on to close the sunroof or roll a window up or down, The sound system is horribly overcomplicated. Too many unneeded warning indicators which are pretty tiny and take research to figure out.I like the driver info center. I'm getting older and would prefer a car with fewer rather than more features. I had to search hard to find one with a compass , which I still find useful and essential but it is placed-way up in a corner of the rearview mirror. Should be on the dash somewhere to be really useful. The salesforce and the mechanics are very responsive and the car is generally well made. They fixed the engine without complaint. So they get points for that. I just think it is complicated in ways that are not helpful.

I traded in my late husbands car and purchased a Mazda 3 from this dealership in October of 2017, it was my first major purchase since my husbands passing, they didn't know this. A family friend came and checked out the vehicle best he could, we purchased it. My son drove it for a month or so and said there's a strange noise coming from the engine so we took it to our mechanic and he said " doesn't sound good, I think you need to take it back to where you bought it." I told him its been just over 30 days and i didn't get the extended warranty. My mechanic said "try, you might be surprised ", BOY was I! When i walked in the dealer i asked for the manager and tto my surprise out came Matt Lokey, the dealership owner. I told him i had a problem with my recent purchase and I purchased this vehicle here rather than at some "SAND LOT" because i knew they had been in the area a long time and were going to stand behind this car. Mr Lokey appolagized and said they would look into it and put me in a loaner car till further notice. He gave me his personnel cell number and said if i have any questions to call him personally. It took a few weeks and what this dealership did was ended up dropping another engine in it with 30,000 LESS miles on it and gave me a one year parts and labor warranty also!!!! I was amazed by the compassion this dealership had and the personnel attention they gave me to say the least! Thanks to Mr Matt Lokey, Wes and the neighboring Mazda dealer who diagnosed the final issue, I cant further express how HAPPY I am I Bought MY CAR at Subaru of Port Richey. it wasn't til after the fact that I told Wes that my husband had passed and that this car was my first major purchase, so" NO PITY" just Fantastic ALL around!!! thank you sooooo much. I commend you. Everyone I've told the story to can't believe it! thanks again for standing behind your vehicles. CB

I really enjoy almost everything about the car. It drives well, good features, good mileage for AWD. I wish the body was not so low to the ground ( easy to scrape on curbs etc ) but I want a sedan and it seems all sedans now are low like this one nowadays.

I met Andy and Nick just after graduating HS, and while they always raved about Subaru, it wasn't until 8 years later that I purchased my very first Subaru from them. Now I'm on my second. I stopped by in November during service on my previous Subaru, saw the Forester and after not being pressured or discouraged to test drive other SUVs, I told Andy I would be back for that exact car in the show room. At the time I was out on maternity leave and wanted to wait till I returned back to work. He never called to hassle me, he waited till I was ready. 3 months later I returned ready, informed him of which model I wanted, and with the help of Nick on the lookout, he called each time they got a vehicle that matched my criteria. About one week later I left Fitz with the same car I saw in the show room. The day before purchasing Corinna called to help me out with my credit application so I wouldn't be waiting the next day. On the day of purchase Andy and Rick worked together to get me in and out with a great deal, no haggling, stress free!

After years of Hondas, finally listened to CR reviews and went with the Forester their top rated suv for years and the difference is night and day. Safety, all wheel drive, with engine and transmission that is not reinvented each year like Honda. Subaru improves upon proven engines, transmissions and electronics each year! George Hios our Sales Manager laid out everything and worked with Rudin Pequini our Sales Consultant to give us the best experience purchashing a car we have ever had. Honest and helpful from start to finish! Rick in F& I finished all paperwork professionally -no surprises! Told George and Rudin we will be sending our daughter in for her next suv in June.

This is a review of my SELLING experience to Carvana. I listed my car on Craigslist and was approached by an outsider buyer named Jan. She introduced me to Carvana, which I never heard of before, and it's process. She was very helpful and walked me through the process. The first deciding factor for selling to them was that they offered me the best price (vs. CarMax, Auto Nation, Trur Car). Then I realized the process was super streamlined. All I had to do was upload my documents and, after approval, schedule an appointment for the pickup of my car. Carvana sent a truck to COME TO ME to pick up the car. The driver (Lauren?) was very courteous and pleasant to work with, too. The pickup process, which included a one-mile test drive, took no longer than 20-30 minutes. Immediately after loading my car to their truck, I was handed the check, which I immediately deposited without any issues. My selling experience from being contacted by buyer to getting the check took just 10 days! (Would've been even faster if I was more timely with uploading my docs.) I'd highly recommend Carvana for selling your cars!

Buying through Carvana was one of the best transactional experiences ever! I shopped for several months, test drove several cars to understand the models and features I was looking for. Then, boom, the car that matched come up in my search and I pulled the trigger. Within minutes, I had a value on my trade-in, purchased the car, (to include a very well priced extended warranty), and arranged for financing it through the Carvana website. And, while that was a very easy, non pressure experience, what made it really special was the delivery. Rachel, the Caravan rep, called me the day before the delivery to confirm, then called while in route to be sure not to leave me hanging. She was right on time, professional, and extremely upbeat. I had a genuine feeling that her priority was not only to deliver the car and pick up my trade in, but it was to make the final part of my experience a pleasure as well. Rachel was extremely knowledgeable of the process and did an excellent job of assuring I was informed of the "7 day, no questions asked, test drive" as well as the final paperwork to be processed. A few signatures and the trade-in was her's and the keys to 2014 BMW 535 were in my hands.

Unless you like to stay up at night reading your Subaru Legacy manual, you may never get the hang of this car. We lease it. Really hard to figure out the settings for window operations, radio, air conditioner (but NO heater), headlight setting, door functions (which doors you gotta open first in order to open other doors), how to get the darn trunk open. So many things. Overr-designed. Too much dashboard disboard distraction. Plus, you can never leave the radio on and open the door (buzzers go off). One must leave the engine on if you want to listen to the radio, open or close a window. I've always had Sirius in previous cars and had no difficulties. Legacy radio display is horrifically complex. Hard to set favorites. Worst of all, you cannot readily know when you are out of gas. My old Volvo used to give me a digital readout on how many miles were left before I'd run out of gas. Really helped me gauge when to stop and refuel. In the Legacy, you can read the meter and think you're okay and then suddenly you see the Orange alert. I tend tonot kno get nervous not knowing approximately how many miles I can drive before I run out completely. In short, the Subaru drives very well, looks pretty good, but is not designed to be user friendly. If you don't like reading manuals in order to listen to a car radio, you'll be irritated often. And the temptation to try to figure these things out WHILE YOU ARE DRIVING is a danger that absolutely must be avoided. I'd love to have a talk with the dashboard designer!

I went to Fuccillo shortly after 7:00 PM this past week and was sold a new Kicks SR that arrived on the lot that day???i had been waiting for this vehicle to arrive for some time. I was assisted primarily by Bryson, Adam, and Gordon. I also negotiated somewhat and was helped by the sales manager, but I sadly cannot remember his name. I was glad Bryson was able to make the sale and earn a little bit of money. I had a young group of people with me, and we had fun joking around during and after the test drive with Bryson who was more or less our age. Fuccillo gives young people an opportunity in the car business, and as a young person myself, this was nice to see. I recommend giving Bryson his own business cards. He was kind enough to provide us his own personal cell phone number regardless. Adam made sure we received his personal contact information, remained with us throughout our visit, and also acted in a supervisory role somewhat over Bryson, giving him tips and things, and I enjoyed the apparent mentoring, Needless to say, the individuals who helped me stayed throughout the entirety of the transaction, allowing me to drive home after 11:00 PM in the new vehicle despite the dealership closing at 9:00 PM. They did not have to do this, especially for the sale of a $23,500 car. I really enjoyed chatting with Gordon, talking about his life and mine, his family and my law school career, while he gathered and had me sign all requisite documents at such a late hour. He is a good man and fostered no sense of urgency. At one point he said ???a customer knows when they are being rushed.??? He never gave this impression. The car itself is beautiful and quite the upgrade from a 2005 Hyundai Tiburon. The only gripe I have is with the ???addendum??? window sticker, which increases the price of a vehicle with an MSRP of about $23,705 to $25,700 (for paint protection and wheel locks mostly) that is affixed to an adjacent window next to the standard window sticker people are familiar with. I anticipated negotiating the price of the vehicle from its MSRP, not from the wheel locks and paint protection clandestine price that increases the price of the vehicle to beyond what you can even build the car for online with all options selected. Going online shortly after purchasing the vehicle, I realized that I had the ability to ???Lock In??? the new vehicle I had just purchased for about $22,500 by clicking a link (site was not yet updated to reflect my new purchase due to the late hour), so the dealer???s website itself does not include the addendum in its advertised online vehicle prices. This is the only thing that needs to change. Since I was negotiating for a $23,705 vehicle from a $25,700 price, I only got it for $200 off of MSRP???not exactly what I was expecting but still slightly below MSRP fortunately. This is $1,000 more than the ???lock-in??? online price. Overall, the experience was great, especially for a first-time new car buyer, and I look forward to purchasing my next Nissan when the dealership movies to its new location currently being built across the street! I thank everyone sincerely for their service and will be in soon to order some accessories!

This is my second vehicle purchased from Vroom in the last 12 months, and I can't imagine ever buying a used car from a brick-and-mortar dealership again. Vroom offers a terrific selection of late model used vehicles. The pictures really make it easy to know what the car looks like. I purchased a 2015 BMW 5-series, and the Vroom price compared to a similar make/model/mileage vehicle from CarMax was $3,000+ cheaper. I selected my vehicle over a few weeks of looking at photos. I filled out a credit application online, and they immediately called me to finalize the app, discuss rates and payments, and to get my $500 deposit. I received a loan package via FedEx 2 days later, signed all the paperwork, and sent it back in the pre-paid FedEx envelope they provided. About 3 days later, I started getting emails to schedule delivery. The process only took 9 business days from the moment I made the deposit to the moment I got my vehicle. Imprecise steering, especially bad at highway speeds, needs constant correction. Stiff, at times jarring ride around town. Awful entertainment system, radio and navigation cannot be turned off only turned down until car is restarted. Ready to cancel lease and walk away from $3000 down payment less than 2 months into lease.

My wife and I test drove a new car (and spent 2 hours dealing with) another dealership. Unfortunately the other unnamed dealer could not meet us at a reasonable interest rate or out the door price considering our excellent credit scores. We thanked them and decided we would visit other dealers on the following day. Luckily I used ???Truecar??? to find another dealership. Courtesy Kia called me immediately because they knew I was interested in a Kia Rio. I told them the exact deal I walked away from (at the previous unnamed dealership, and while I was not lying I appreciated that they understood I was straightforward without a ???paper quote??? from the other dealership) and then told them the exact deal I would be happy to close with them. They said they would call me back. Within 20 minuets I received a call from Courtesy Kia (specifically Armando) stating that they would accept my exact terms for the exact car I wanted (my terms were reasonable to be fair) and that if I came in the next day this would be the deal I could ???Sign on the dotted line.??? True to form, I arrived the next day with my wife ready to enter another negotiation to keep the deal we agreed upon over the phone. Much to my amazement, and happiness, the deal had not changed by a penny. The deal I made over the phone (the exact deal I wanted) was immediately honored, I signed some paperwork and was out the door with the exact car I intended to purchase at another dealer, but for thousands less by going to Courtesy Kia (Including Courtesy Kia being able to get me financed at 0.0%apr with our credit scores). In a few years I will be in the market to replace our other car. Courtesy Kia will be my immediate choice. I have a feeling that if I need to negotiate with them for my future car (hopefully the Stinger) they will be fair considering how fair they were when I honestly offered no negotiation on my end this time around.
