Used Subaru Outback for sale near Dundalk, MD

Came in and bought a Chevy Trax. In the sales team I had the joy of working with Ryan Parker. He knew we were on a bit of a time crunch and moved us thru the process pretty fast. He also checked on us the next day. We had a bit of a snag with the vehicle a week later and he was available to help. Made sure we were taken care of and followed back up with me again. Last November I drove my 2018 Outback Premium (which I loved) to the local dealer to test drive a 2025 Limited XT and get the complimentary $50 Visa card they were promoting at the time, and ended up driving back in the new XT. Following are my impressions after 10 months of ownership. We're big fans of Subaru's safety tech. My wife's car is a 2023 Forester, and the Reverse Automatic Braking has saved her from at least one accident. Her previous car was a 2021 Hyundai Tucson, and its reverse sensors seemed like they never worked. If safety is a priority, you won't find many manufacturers that beat Subaru (same for their all wheel drive system). The newer generation EyeSight system is superior to the 2018's. I would commonly turn off the Pre-Collision Braking on the 2018 (which was easy with the physical switch unlike the virtual switch accessible only through the head unit on the 2025) since I found it to be oversensitive when I was following someone making a right turn. The 2018 would prematurely brake which I feared could lead to being rear ended. My 2025 does not have the same issue, and while it has given me a blinking/beeping warning in the dash display in similar situations, it has not started actually braking like the 2018. For me, I have found I only get warnings from the car when my driving actually warrants it. The extra power of the 2.4L turbo (XT) was a big selling point, although I feel it's not mated to the CVT as well as the non-turbo 2.5L. There is noticeable throttle lag with the XT which you have to get used to, but man, it really moves after that momentary lag. I never found my 2018 non-turbo to be underpowered, but I definitely love the extra punch of the turbo. One of my biggest hesitancies with the 2025 was all the touchscreen buttons/menus of the head unit, but the joy of driving the car has softened my annoyance. Since I don't feel the need to shut off any safety features, I never have to look for them in the head unit menus. When I start the car, I only turn off the auto start/stop with the dedicated button at the bottom of the screen and wait the usual 20-30 seconds for the head unit to fully boot up giving the turbo/engine time to get lubricated before I put her into drive. I'm a big fan of wireless Android Auto and have found it to be very stable (and much better than the wireless dongles I tried with the 2018). I use the automatic climate control 99% of the time, so I don't miss the physical buttons and knobs in the dash (all I need are temperature up/down which ARE physical buttons). It's a great cruising vehicle with a great ride, and I look forward to packing the family inside for extended road trips. I'm happy we have the last year of the "wagon" generation of Outbacks and plan to keep it for many enjoyable miles.

Went to the service center for breaking issue and had a pleasure working with Nikki French. She's awesome! She took a time to listen to my concern and explained the whole process and possible cost, made sure I was well informed every step. Although they couldn't find any error on my car, she took extra time to make sure my car is running safe. Everyone at Subaru service center is nice, but Nikki is truly exceptional! Thank you, Nikki for making this experience so positive and stress-free!

This is our third Outback. Seats could be better. Sit in a VW or Volvo and you'll see how they could be improved. Window buttons should located in a place where a dog can't stem on them. They moved the heated seat buttons. Our dog no longer steps on those.

This dealership was amazing to work with on leasing my Crosstrek. Alexis was my sales person and she was incredible! She remembered little details from our first contact (a suitcase fitting in trunk) and never forgot my preferences and bottom line budget number. The entire staffed worked with me to get my deal down to what I could afford. Even though it was the end of the month and a holiday weekend, I never felt like a number to them. The finance professional, Greg, took the time to make sure I understood all details of the contract, did not try to upsale me on things I wouldn’t need and answered ALL my questions without talking down to me or making me feel stupid for not knowing on my own. As a single woman shopping for a car on my own, trust is important to me and respect. I never felt like I was being taken advantage of or was not getting the attention I deserved. The follow-up AFTER the deal was done was also incredible. I received welcome emails and calls, I was offered a free service call just to go over all the features of the vehicle, I was treated to a free car wash when my new tags came in and they were placed on the car for me as well! I was able to personally communicate with the general manager, Michael, when a piece of scam mail came to me looking like official Subaru program and was guided by him on how to handle. Everyone I encountered at this dealership was friendly, knowledgeable and treated me with dignity and respect. The refreshments were delicious, the bathrooms were clean and the entire atmosphere of the dealership was welcoming and friendly! This is the place to buy a Subaru if you are in Maryland!

Slower than molasses in January if you don't get the turbo. But a reliable wagon that's absolutely awesome for parents. Plus, you can make up for the lack of speed by just running over stuff thanks to the ground clearance.

The acceleration lag that this car has is immediately outweighed by everything else. This car is super smooth and granny sedan comfy, and it has more utility than any equally priced SUV. The roof rails have built-in cross bars that stow, it tows 3500 pounds, and the Harmon-Kardon sound system kicks. It has butt fans, people. Additionally, the aftermarket base is thick, so accessories, customization, and reflashing options abound. The tech is old, the powertrain is old, but you see 300 of them a day for a reason.

Sadari was very helpful with my service needs. Overall experience was positive with all service items taken care of quickly and explained.

We replaced our 2015 Outback with a 2025 Outback Limited. Decided to stay with Subaru as we had good reliability in the 125,000 miles on the 2015. Normal maintenance, only 3 minor warranty issues early. The new car is one model trim higher than the previous one. The only real complaint would be the "auto engine shutoff," but that is easily turned off. I prefer the built-in look of the center display versus the tacked-on tablet on top of the dash. We had hoped to wait and see the new 2026 model but from the photos at the NY auto show debut I was not a fan of some of the changes. I should note we also have a 2021 Ascent Limited which we enjoy traveling with.

The employees are friendly and courteous. They try to make sure you are comfortable in this environment. They explain what work has to be performed. They do not try to get you to do unnecessary work. I was greeted by two smiling faces. Lynese Hutchinson took responsibility for my car. She kept me updated via text message. My questions were answered immediately.

This is my 4th Outback, so that in and of itself should say something. This is a 2025 Outback Touring XT with the turbo charged 2.4 liter motor and CVT transmission. I love this car, one of what I consider to be one of the last true wagons. Plenty of room, soft ride and safe. Subaru’s safety and reliability are the main reason I keep buying them. Mileage is pretty good considering the AWD and turbo charger. Plenty of pep. I’m averaging about 25-26 in mixed rural driving. Previous one got about 31 mpg on the highway. I’m not heavy footed so that helps. Substantial leg room in the rear seat. This model has all the bells and whistles as it’s their top of the line model. Plenty of room behind rear seat also for luggage and groceries. To me it’s just as comfortable as higher end cars at a substantially lower price point. At $45,000 MSRP can’t really go wrong in my opinion. My only complaint if you will is that it lacks a 360 degree camera and the infotainment center lags a bit on start up. Neither of these are a deal breaker for me

We currently own the Outback 2024 XT, and it’s a great car to drive. However, its turbo CVT engine does produce a slight lag in acceleration and when slowing down. Just a matter of getting used to. Also had issue with the lift gate button, which broke after only two months in possession. My wife and I are in our 60s, and all our kids have their own families, so thank goodness we don’t have to drive those 8 seater SUVs anymore. This outback has been the best alternative for us.

Great performance from the 2.4 liter Turbo, great handling. Seats are very comfortable and supportive, dash layout is great and the 11.6" display has all the information that you need.

I think for the most part, I like my car. I have had a couple issues, one of them is probably not the cars fault, (but seeing other people have the same issue, it makes me wonder) I now have 50k miles on it and in that time I have only had to replace the battery and tires, to be expected on a 6 year old car. (and windshield) The windshield is the questionable item. It seemed to crack out of nowhere and I thought I must have gotten a small rock chip while driving down the highway and just didn't see it until it started to crack. So I replaced it at a cost of almost $1000. However, I am on an Outback form and it seems to be a common complaint with outback owners of this year, having the windshield crack out of nowhere. Could it be the frame design? Maybe, but it does seem suspicious that others have had the same issue. One other problem I have had is if I let my car sit unused for like 5 days, the battery goes completely dead. There seems to be a parasitic drain somewhere on the car. It doesn't happen if I drive it every day, but if it sits for about 5 days unused, the battery goes completely dead. I have read it has something to do with the DCS system in the car, but you have to pay the dealer a diagnostic fee to verify. I drive it enough I have not gotten it checked, but next time I am at the dealer I am going to ask them about it.

The only thing I would say for this dealer is bravo. I am 💯 percent satisfied with the experience. Ameer was very helpful and brutally honest about the discrimination of the car. It was a (AS IS) sale and there are some dealers who try to cover up a car’s fault but hybrid and gas automotive took the opposite approach which goes to show how honest they are. Do I recommend this dealer. O xxxx yeah

Handles good. Wins safety awards, hope we never test that. We do like our 2015 better. My wife's sister's Tribeca kept them alive but was totaled. Can't seem to get the mileage it said on the sticker.

The 2016 Subaru Outback is the first car I'd ever bought brand new, and I haven't been disappointed since it was purchased 7 years ago. It's very reliable, fun to drive, easy on gas, easy on maintenance and easy on the eyes. Will do it all over again when I make my next Subaru purchase!

Turn signals do not have a loud sound. They are very low My 2016 Outback has nice loud turn signals. You cannot turn your radio off. The only way not to hear it is to put the sound real low. Two major complaints I have

2023 Subaru Outback Limited XT. A great station wagon (it’s not really a SUV). Comfortable leather seats, smooth ride and extremely quick with the turbo. If you don’t need seating for eight, you have no need for the Ascent. Same engine and cargo capacity and ground clearance, lower to the ground, faster, better handling and several thousand dollars cheaper. Standard all wheel drive. Full safety suite. 11.6” infotainment system is really closer to 8” as the climate control takes the additional 3.6”. The Harmon Kardon sound system will blow your doors off. Good in car navigation. Wireless Apple Car Play and Android Auto. Hands free tailgate. 0-60 in 5.8 on regular gas. Standard roof rails. Even has heated outboard rear seats. If you’re considering a midsize or smaller SUV you owe it to yourself to drive this first.

I bought used in 2023 a 2015 premium with 214k miles. I drove it 6k miles and only replaced the CV axle, this isn't impressive sounding but it was going through constant , aggressive off reading due to the rough road conditions I had to use because I live in the rocky mountains. I got in a rollover a 60 mph and I had no injuries, airbags kept me safe. Fuel economy was dismal with 21 in the city and 24 in the highway, safety and reliability are top tier, power was surprisingly adequate, the Bluetooth was appreciated and all the safety tech and other tech was very useable and helpful and accurate. Love the car would buy it again if I had the chance

The vehicle has many amenities !! Great looking and offers many things in upgrades. Beautiful looking and love the seat comfort. Nice package and great value.
