A newish 15' Forester

Basically, I needed a vehicle capable of going a bit outback for walkabouts, so about 40 minutes before the Subara dealer closed, I biked in and asked to test drive a Forester. Anthony Taormina, a very kind sales associate with his family waiting for him at home, took his time even after the dealership closed to carefully and helpfully explain the features and how it compared to other cars while we test drove a very-low-mileage pre-certified/owned 2015 Forester. It drove excellently, and so after having spent many a months renting various vehicles and noting how they drove and felt across the desert, the Forester "felt rightest", and I expressed that to Anthony. To me, the Forester clearly had the greatest nexus of quality, mileage, room, price and power that I needed. Now, at this point, Anthony cautioned me: "are you sure about this make? We can always re-visit this tomorrow" -- I appreciated this, but did not heed it -- I was ready to buy, because after several weeks of cross-comparing specs between similar styles of different brands, e.g. Honda CRV vs Jeep Cherokee vs Forester, I felt my gut feeling toward purchasing the Subaru Forester was justified. So, Anthony and his finance assistant, Louie Ascencio, then helped me get a really great financing deal and a full warranty. It must have been close to an hour after close, but Anthony set me up with temp plates and registration, and I drove my bike home in my new(-ish enough) Forester! Overall, a great car purchasing experience.
