2023 Buick Envision review
Just had my first major car repair at 44k miles. Some steering sensor that could cause me to lose power steering. Had I not had the extended warranty I would be responsible for the $5k repair bill. We are barely out of the manufacturers warranty! Other than that, I love this car but already expecting to get rid of in the next year due to the unknown.

IVE HAD MINE FOR 6 YEARS AND THOUGH MY REAR SHOCKS HAVE WENT OUT THE CAN BE REPLACED WITH NON AIR SHOCKES TO GET THE FEEL BACK.. IVE HAD TO CHANGE MY TIRES 2 TIMES THOUGH .. I HAVE 140000 IN ODOMETER AND IT SHOWS NO SIGNS OF WEAKENING.. IVE BABIED THE MOTOR OIL CHANGES, GOOD GAS BUT THAT ABOUT IT.

2020 Hyundai PALISADE review
Bought car used in September 2026 w/65000 miles. Needed to replace my 2016 Escape which broke down catastrophically after 2 years of constant repairs. Also, my sister was facing knee replacement and we needed to fit her, her 300-lb husband, walkers, wheelchair, and groceries in our everyday vehicle! Two words describe the result: exceeds expectations! Lots of room even with all of us and our junk; More road power than my old man's driving style needs, but it translates to smooth as silk road behavior on the steepest of Pennsylvania's hills; Typical Hyundai reliability and dealer service : helpful, courteous, attentive, and informative. Not the cheapest, but worth what I pay. I was suspicious about putting all my eggs in a 6 year old vehicle ... but I think I just bought 250,000 of solid comfort and driveability that's better than new!

2023 Ford Bronco Sport review
Bought new. 50k on the odometer. Nothing of any concern has happened and Ford has a generous 10k miles between maintenance intervals. Stock tires on the Badlands did not last anywhere near their projected life. With the new tires I’m getting around 28mpg now. The badlands GOAT modes have gotten me through a lot of OHV trails and forest roads. The suspension articulates well. Anything I’ve dared to ask it do it has done.

This was my first time buying a car out of state and John Reyes made it as smooth as possible. He was always answering my (many) questions in a very timely manner and there were no hidden costs or fees. I had an issue with the shipping company, but that is a 3rd party which shipped my car from Texas to California so that is not his fault. He also said I would not need to go to the DMV, but that was not quite true (I had to go once for a VIN verification appointment). Assuming he did not know that, I would say this was an overall good buying experience, especially for my first out of state purchase. Overall would recommend (again, my experience was completely online (out of state), John seems like a very nice guy and will answer all of your questions and give you a no-BS out the door price. I initially shopped at Sewell Cadillac, but they were extremely greedy and unwilling to work with me. That’s when I called Martin Vara at Cavender. From the very first conversation, Martin told me Cavender would give me a deal I couldn’t refuse without seeing any other offers—and he absolutely overdelivered. At this point I knew this was my dealership. I didn’t need to go back and forth and shop around because Cavender put their best foot forward from the very beginning. Martin coordinated everything seamlessly. I spoke with the Sales Manager over the phone, we agreed on numbers quickly, and they immediately removed the vehicle from inventory. While I completed my credit application and paperwork online, they had the LYRIQ prepped and ready to go. Martin called to let me know everything was approved and ready for pickup. When I arrived at the dealership, the Cadillac facility was beautiful, and everyone was welcoming and professional. Within five minutes, I met the Sales Manager—super friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely great to work with. Any last-minute questions were answered clearly and honestly. While I was signing paperwork, Martin took the time to walk my wife through the LYRIQ, explaining all the features and giving her a full introduction to the vehicle. There were zero surprises—the numbers were exactly what we agreed on. From start to finish, I was in and out in about 40 minutes. That’s unheard of these days. This was hands down the best car-buying experience I’ve ever had—from sales, to management, to delivery. 2021 Volvo XC40 review
My partner wanted me to get a vehicle that availed itself of all the current self-driving and safety technologies currently on offer, and after much research, this is car I landed own. And the XC40 did not disappoint. I'm approaching my first year of ownership and comfortably say it is the best vehicle I've ever owned. With near seamless adaptable cruise control making multiple long-haul road trips as effortless as driving across town, my Volvo makes me want to drive it anywhere. Stylistically, it's a bit frustrating to now see every car on the road racing to copy its black-roof aggression, but I still get looks from folks who want to know if "that's a Volvo?" Of particular note is how the interior eschewed the trend of tacking on a giant tablet screen, opting instead for a generous dash-embedded interface that is comprehensive, intuitive and instantly responsive. I also love the app-driven features like remote start and customer temperature. The reputation for reliability is well-earned and validated. In summary, the prospect of this car one day needing to be replaced fills me with anxiety because I want to drive it forever. Well done, Volve.

2022 Toyota 4Runner review
Not the most technologically advanced but that is what I was looking for, keep it simple! The features it has are the important ones, at least to me. This is my third one since 2011 and I love not having to bringing them in for repairs.

2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L review
I have never owned a Jeep before and barely even considered an SUV. I've always been a luxury sedan guy, but this Jeep Grand Cherokee L Overland 4x4 has completely changed my mind. The exterior and interior designs are on par with most SUVs and remind me of the luxury sedans I have previously driven. Tech options are better than I've ever had in any other car. The ride and comfort are better than anything I've ever experienced before. Very dependable so far but I'm still under 1000 miles. I'm very pleased with my purchase decision.

2025 Chevrolet Suburban review
OK, so I have owned 2 previous suburbans (2002 & 2013), so the 25 is an amazing upgrade to both of these! First of all, we do a lot of highway miles and the ride is simply amazing! It rides more like a luxury sedan than a truck. Since this is our primary vacation vehicle, we were careful to order 18 inch wheels, as they have a much smoother ride versus the larger ones. I also love all of the new cameras, which is a big help in tight situations. Also, the adaptive cruise control and lane assist make long road trips easier and safer as well. I also love the new exterior design features, particularly the front grill and the aerodynamic wings on either side of the rear window. I'm a bit surprised that those small design features have really updated and enhanced the look so much. The only real disappointment, so far, is the owners manual was really poorly done. Information is difficult to find, nonexistent and they even neglected to put in the required scheduled maintenance requirements (what were they thinking?). Overall, our first impressions on this vehicle have been superb and I would definitely recommend it to others who need a large family/vacation vehicle!

2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer review
I could never imagine owning a vehicle as large as the Grand Wagoneer but after driving it for 10 months, I really like it! There is ample room, it is powerful, the ride is very smooth and the driver visibility is without peer. When we have guests, we can all ride together and when there is light hauling to be done, it can all fit in the truck.

2024 Mitsubishi Outlander review
Driving over a year now, comfortable ride. Many features on the Black Edition. Automatic headlights, wipers, panoramic roof, heated seats, wiper defroster, heat/ AC works very well. Car has standard headlight washer...long hold or after so many windshield washings... just a few. Only drawback! The integrated navigation..used TOMTOM that is very poor feature. Unable to have an update. Map has trouble accurately find places...if local destination..gives location sometimes in other places or even states.

2020 Porsche Macan review
Recently purchased the 2020 Macan GTS, so still in 'honeymoon' phase. That said, no issues to report. Pretty amazing how the vehicle can change personalities. Can be Dr. Jeckyl - smooth, quiet, refined touring car. Click a few buttons and its Mr. Hyde - growling, fast, quick steering tall hatchback that is ready for twisting roads or highway blast. Not encountered a vehicle that does this touring/sport change as well. Another standout for the 2020 is ability to go 'old school' buttons/analog - or modern digital interfaces. Like all the buttons, once you get to know them. Quick and less distraction from road. Rear seat is snug for anyone over 6 foot. Chose this over the Audi SQ5 - but it was a close contest. GTS wins on driving dynamics, but SQ5 is a wonderful luxury experience. Hard to resist the Porsche once you drive it. Does the luxury part pretty darn well too. Wow.

2024 Mazda CX-90 review
Purchased the PHEV a little over 1 year ago and put 12K+ miles on it so far, and I like it a lot. Its stylish, quiet and great on gas. I consistently get over 70+ MPG around town and 35+MPG on longer trips. However, I *strongly recommend* the L2 charger as it cuts charging time down to 2.5 hour with 29 miles range. Without it, the L1 charger takes forever. I went with a 30W auto splitter on my dryer plug for under $140 on Amazon. Its amazing! However, even if you switch to gas, the Hybrid system averages 26 MPG with standard driving. My only complaint so far is the connection to Google/Apple play sometimes drops for seemingly no reason 1-2 times a week and the reactive driving can be touchy. Overall, very reliable and fun to drive. I highly recommend.

2026 Honda Pilot review
We purchased this vehicle on the recommendation of our trusted mechanic. We did our research and the Pilot has not disappointed. The ride is smooth, and comfortable. There is so much interior space, and the cargo area is larger than our Explorer. Best purchase ever.

2025 Toyota Land Cruiser review
I purchased this car at the end of June 2025 and currently have only 5,000 miles on it. So far I love the Land Cruiser. The interior is very nice, but not especially plush. It is comfortable. The LC handles well, but I haven't taken it off-road, nor have I had to deal with difficult weather conditions. The drawbacks that I see are that it requires premium gas, does not get especially good gas mileage, and the gas tank is small for the size of the vehicle. I have no regrets in buying this vehicle.
