2025 Volkswagen Taos review
I bought a 2022 Taos and drove it for 3 1/2 years. I liked the car so much that I bought a 2025 Taos. My wife is now driving the 2022 and I am driving the 2025. Both cars are pure joy to sit in and to drive. The interior and legroom are spacious. The only negatives are the VW does not offer a power, passenger seat and a power hatch closer. Other than that, it is the perfect vehicle for us.

Steve Lee. What can I say about this wonderful man? Yes, I am actually talking about a car salesman. A few weeks ago, I went to the Ford dealer to pick up some parts I ordered. On our way back to our car, my daughter spots the all-new Hyundai Kona. One look and she was hooked. Steve saw us and came over to greet us with the warmest smile and a sincere handshake. He was as excited to tell us all about the Kona, as we were as excited to hear about it. He told and showed us all there was to know about the Kona, even let my daughter test drive the fully loaded Ultimate model. Steve listened to all of my daughter?s questions and soon they were talking about their favorite color combos and cool features on the car. Never once did Steve make us feel uncomfortable or pressure us into any direction. He was helpful, kind, listened and let my daughter lead the conversation. We had already taken up a lot of Steve?s time and it was getting late, so we parted ways and said we would be back in a few days, after the rain. I?m sure Steve thought he had seen the last of us, but we returned about a week and a half later. And true to form, there was Steve, with the biggest smile and welcoming arms for us. He made my daughter?s car buying experience easy and enjoyable. Not to mention that she loved the Kona so much, she went back 2 weeks later to buy a Tuscon. Unfortunately Steve had already left for the day when we got there. I wanted to wait, but my daughter has no patience. If you ever get the chance to meet Steve Lee, I encourage you to do so. I guarantee you won?t forget him. He makes the most genuine impression and you won?t forget that smile! Overall I'm satisfied with my purchase and mostly satisfied with the whole process. It took about a month to get the right color combo in stock, but it was worth it. I was a little disappointed that I had to come back the next day to pick it up though. Jake was professional, friendly, and had knowledge of the vehicle, but since I have been following this car's development for some time, I think I surprised him by knowing more than he did about some things. Management (David I think) tried to sneak a few things onto the total bill, but that was expected, that's their job, and I did my part and caught them. The finance guy, Gerardo, was very professional and made the final signing process easy and relaxed. Unfortunately, I guess he was the only finance person on Wednesday night and I had to wait about an hour for him to finish with another customer. In total, I was there over 5 hours.

I like the white and black combo. I like that it's not too big and is AWD. Still getting use to the technology. I can start and lock the doors from my phone. It notifies me if I left a window or the sunroof open. Will not go far if the trunk door is not completely shut. This is my 1st suv, I like sitting up higher than in a sedan.

Love how car handles. The HRV is wonderful on traveling bc I have arthritis and it was a pleasure to drive on long trips. It’s smooth riding and an attractive car. It is easier to get into than the CRV bc I am short (5’2) so I had to climb up into CRV but not HRV.

So slow it’s almost unsafe! Front seats are not comfortable. Blind spot in side mirrors. Everything else is good. Base engine needs 40 more horses. Sport trim should have a turbo engine.

2022 Volkswagen Taos review
I bought the 22 model in Apr of 22 and had it about a year and the ac compressor went out. It took them a couple of months to get one and when they did they found that it had metal shavings all in the lines so they had to replace everything in the circuit. They gave us a loaner car for two weeks and so far it’s been working fine. Have had a couple of software updates so far but no other issues. Have just turned 10,000 miles. The transmission is jerky so I basically drive it around in sport mode to keep it from dropping into the highway gear. Overall we like it

He noticed that there was an open recall on my Accord and right away called his parts department to see if they had the fuel pump that needed replacing. 2025 Honda HR-V review
Love the car....I have 2 concerns. First, the driver's seat is not comfortable (this is my wife's car) ....the other seats are fine. This is weird. We have the all wheeled drive version. It loves gasoline !!! My Toyota Corolla gets 38-40 mpg with a smaller but peppier engine. This HR-V Gets between 25-28.....not sure why. HOWEVER. This car drives like a dream... VERY SMOOTH. Love the car !!!

2026 Honda HR-V review
My 2026 HRV Sport came with the Hankook 18 inch tires and rode rough. I upgraded to 17 inch Michelin Primacy A/S. It made a world of difference improving the ride. Its smoother, and quieter with the Michelins. What I like about the HRV: 1. Price. OTD price was 28,600, but that included a trade in with about 1000 equity. Its hard to find a decent car under 30,000 that is not a Kia or Hyundai. 2. Safety tech. The sport model has adaptive cruise, blind spot monitor and lane keep assist, which make the car safer. 3. Easy to drive. You dont have to get a phd in the touch screen and controls, they are intuitive and easily learned, unlike my Toyota, which has a glitchy, awkward infotainment system. 4. Rear seats go all the way down and lay almost flat. This gives more room and its large for the class. 5. Spare tire. Many car companies want you to call AAA everytime you have a flat. Bad idea. The HRV not only has a spare but lots of room with the spare with special compartments for stuff like flashlights, car emergency equipment stored out of the way and the like. 6. Easy entrance and exit the vehicle even tho it does not have power seats. They slide back easily without a problem. 7. Very nice consul with storage underneath the shifter, along with usb plugs. Good place to put phone or other items. 8. Naturally aspirated long lasting non turbo engine. Turbos run hot and burn the oil and your engine. Avoid Turbos. 9. Nice that it has remote start, without buying a super expensive subscription like a Toyota. I like that Honda seems to appreciate its customers, not trying to burn us each month for more money to get the car to work right, like some companies. Are car payments not high enough for car companies so they find a need to force us to pay even more for glitchy, irritating, complicated and often non working subscriptions? Im unaware of any un needed subscriptions or apps to download and enrich hackers, on the HRV which is quite refreshing after owning 2 Toyotas with multiple subsrciption profit (for the compnay) enhancers. Dislikes: I have not yet had a chance to drive it on a longer trip, but other reviewers sometimes complained the front seat was not that comfortable, lacking a lumbar support. I thought the seat was slightly narrow, but thats because Im fat. I dont like removal of Sirius XM radio. Yes, you can, and I did, hook that up to Sirius on my phone, but that is just not the same.

2024 Honda HR-V review
I have owned my HR-V for about a month. Did have to tint my windows was no big deal. I think it had great power has alot on get up and go. Just the right size for me. Still learning what all the buttons do. Overall I am very pleased. First Honda owned.

2023 Volkswagen Taos review
Our 2022 Taos is almost 2 years old with about 21K mileage. Very satisfied with our car. For the price point (25K) it provides good handling, a comfortable ride and great interior space for a subcompact SUV. The gas mileage is amazing at over 40 MPG on the highway and about 30 MPG tooling around town. Couldn't be happier!

2025 Volkswagen Taos review
Purchased new Taos SE AWD end of April. Only have about 1,700 miles on it so far but I am very impressed. Fit and finish are great; rides smoothly and quietly. Many features on the vehicle for the money. 8 speed trans is seamless in its operation. Engine idles so quietly that my wife asked me why I had shut off engine when it was idling in a parking spot. Only concern (and it’s a very minor one) is need for more horsepower. I know that the’25 Taos has 17 more horsepower than the’22-‘24 models, but vehicle still feels like it needs more on inclines with four people in the car and when driving into high winds. But that is the only concern; made a great decision when I bought this car.

2018 Toyota C-HR review
I drove a 2018 RAV 4 for one year before trading it in for the CHR. I really liked the RAV4, but it always felt just a little too big for me. I like smaller cars even though I am almost 6 foot tall! I should have driven the CHR before purchasing the RAV4 - I looked at it initially and thought it would not be roomy enough for me, boy was I wrong :) I am so in love with my CHR and plan on keeping it until I have to drive it like Fred Flintstone with my feet !!!LOL Thanks Toyota for making such a fun car to drive. - Can't say enough good things about it.

I bought a 2004 Pilot a month ago here. My salesman, Tim, knew exactly which loan to submit me for because I had no job and bad credit but a big down payment. He had me financed with no problem in minutes. A few days before I went to Carmax Burbank for a different car but with the same down payment and the saleswoman there did not do the same thing. The car was purchased in 2 hours and I was driving home. I bought the warranty tey offer which is a great bumper to bumper extended through their company. They have a 5 day return policy. I opted to return my car on day 4 to pay for the warranty in cash so as not to finance it at the very high interest rate I bought the car at. The return was also easy and everything was done in less than an hour. A month later now, I have found a few things wrong with this 2004 that seemed to have slipped past their extensive reconditioning program. I took it in with odd complaints a dealer would normally say they couldn't duplicate. They addressed them all and even gave me a loaner SUV for my babies to fit in while I waited the few days for the parts to arrive. GREAT STORE! Great customer service! And there's a play room for the kids! *Avoid the coffee!! It is terrible!!!
