How often, when buying a car, does everything go smoothly? That was my experience with Austin AutoNation South. Thank you Joshua and Miles. It was a pleasure!
2025 Toyota 4Runner review
I have a blue Trd sport premium, 2025. So far I love this truck! It has hard plastic throughout the interior, which makes it easy to clean. Love the 14 inch screen, and the 360 cameras. Wheels on the Trd sport are some of the best looking wheels out there. If you want a few options, but aren't going off road, trd sport premium is a great option.

First Texas HondaReviews
First Texas Honda review
I was very pleased with my experience at First Texas Honda. From the beginning, the team was welcoming, professional, and genuinely helpful. The repair process was handled smoothly, and I was kept informed throughout every step. I especially want to recognize Aidan for his outstanding assistance. He was exceptionally kind, attentive, and professional throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain everything clearly, kept me updated, and even arranged a loaner car while my vehicle was being serviced. His willingness to help made the whole experience much easier. I also really appreciated the effort the team made to work with the manufacturer to resolve an issue that could potentially have been covered under warranty. They took the time to pursue it rather than simply leaving it for me to deal with. Overall, I felt very well taken care of. It was a smooth and stress-free experience, and Aidan in particular deserves recognition for the way he treated me and handled everything. Thank you to Aidan and the entire First Texas Honda team for the great service. I would definitely recommend them.

The perfect ride for someone wanting smooth handling and luxury finishes! Loved this ride and was sad to part with it but FINALLY was able to get my dream, Land Cruiser. This 4 Runner was perfect for long drives to the coast, a trip over the pass of daily commuting.

Capitol Chevrolet review
Great Service! I drove in with a warm welcome and didn't feel hunted like other lots I visited. Ronald (my dealer) Explained everything about the car I was looking at and was very patient with me and my questions. I was very comfortable and happy with my purchase at Capitol Chevrolet. I definitely want add-ons now.
2025 Toyota 4Runner review
I purchased a 2025 4Runner TRD Pro and only in a few hundred miles I love it. I had a few 5th generation 4Runners and they were great. But this is a whole new level with the 6th generation. Great ride, comfort, technology, and capabilities is unmatched by the previous generations. The only thing I don't was the price tag. But personally, I would do it again.

This is the biggest reason I'm happy with this car. It's actually known for reliability and I can attest to this. In fact, maintenance has been straightforward and would last well beyond 200,000 miles if cared for.

Amazing build quality…you can feel it in everything. The last of its kind. Buy one while they’re still around. Don’t buy if you’re concerned about fuel mileage. Trade off is drive it easily 20 yrs without replacing hybrid battery packs and CVT transmissions. Old school bulletproof reliability and quality.

Henna Chevrolet review
Always amazing experience! Wouldn't go anywhere else. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Purchased my vehicle here and only trust Henna for any services needed for my vehicle
2023 Toyota 4Runner review
We chose the 2023 4Runner Limited because of it's reliable 1GR V6 engine and the simple, tried and true, 5 speed transmission. And NO turbo! The interior is detailed and attractive with clearly reachable buttons and knobs for climate, radio, and touchscreen. The ride is much better than described in many reviews. We find that it is similar to our former GMC Yukon. The one downside is it's fuel mileage. In real world daily driving we're getting 18-19 mpg around town and 19-21 on the highway. Our Highlander gets 21-22 mpg in town and 24mpg on the highway. This is our 4th 4Runner so we know what to expect. Our 2004 is still on the road with 278,000 miles; going strong.

Group 1 Toyota North Austin review
I had purchased an OEM seatbelt part but when installed the warning light came on and the passenger airbag would not turn on because the resistance of the new part did not match the system. They had to order the EXACT seat belt part (which took longer than expected) but the Service Advisor kept in touch via text and when the part came in they told me to come in immediately and got the part installed in 1 1/2 hrs and gave a $200 discount on job from original quote. My wife was having to ride in the back seat so I was pleased to get her back up front with me!
2023 Toyota 4Runner review
Just purchased by 3rd 4runner Limited. Love that Toyota is reliable and I like sitting up over looking traffic. Toyota's hold there resale value. I did not purchase the extended warranty, I've never used it previously and think it's a waste of money unless you pur a EV. Also, the dealership might try to get you to buy windshield coverage....it's already in my auto insurance coverage. Shop around for rates, usually a credit union has pretty good rates if your credit score is good. Dealerships generally run higher interest rates. Also, make sure you get 2 key fobs. Just offering some general buying tips.

I received great customer service at First Texas Honda when I took my car for maintanance.
2023 Toyota 4Runner review
It’s a 2023 so it only has 25’000 miles on it at this time, but I’m absolutely satisfied with the purchase. Sure, it’s not designed to be fast, ultra-comfortable, fuel efficient, but it excels in handling rough ranch roads and rough Dallas city potholes, nice narrow body for tight parking. It’s great as a highway cruiser, and the secret of the 4Runner is if you go 30-40mph over a fairly level road (AC off) you’ll hit 60mpg! Quite happy with it, a real urban assault vehicle, wish they came with a better selection of exterior colours though 👍

The overall experience was fine but I was just not used to this business model. I bought a $70,000 used vehicle and after having dealt with the Land Rover and Mercedes dealerships for years, the customer service at CarMax is just not up to their level. But I guess that was how I paid $2500 - $5,000 less than what other dealers were charging for the same car.

AutoNation Toyota South Austin review
I went to buy a new 2026 Toyota RAV4 LE hybrid after doing extensive research on the RAV4, but they didn't have any on the lot, and I would have to order one. I was interested in going through the Cosco Auto buying program. They also had a higher trim SE on the lot that they have a substantial discount on, even better than the Cosco program. I then took a test drive. The Autonation salesperson, Max, gave us the written out-the-door price for both with no dealer add-ons, which we negotiated off the price. I was planning on buying an LE until the dealer dropped the price on the SE another $500. The total discount paid for the added distributor options and delivery fee. It was the last day of the month, and they wanted to make a deal. That dropped the price of the SE within my budget, so I took the deal. We negotiated $2K off the price of a 10 yr./100K mile warranty in the finance office. Max was a pleasure to work with and didn't use any high-pressure sales tactics. I felt the out-the-door price was fair and reasonable. The finance office was easy to work with and was willing to negotiate. I had a wonderful buying experience at AutoNation Toyota in South Austin!

2022 Toyota 4Runner review
Not the most technologically advanced but that is what I was looking for, keep it simple! The features it has are the important ones, at least to me. This is my third one since 2011 and I love not having to bringing them in for repairs.

2017 Toyota 4Runner review
I have the 2017 Cement colored TRD Pro. I love everything about it except the EnTune system where the Quick Response works inconsistently like 1 out of 10 times. The dealer replaced the system but even the new replacement exhibits the same issues. Quick response text fails the same way with my Samsung and Moto android phones. The original Engine system right bank of touch keys stopped functioning soon after warranty. :-(. But it was replaced by the dealer since I had a history of complaints about the inadequate Engine Text Quick Response....it still fails to send the Quick response message 9 out of 10 times and reports a error message. Dealer tried updating SW but that didn't work Other than this we love our 2nd 4Runner. The other 4 Runner is a SR5 Sport V8 4WD. We love it as well

I’ve owned a 2022 Toyota 4Runner sr5 for around 2 years now and the whole time I’ve put that thing through basically xxxx, and it has never ever broken, or had anything wrong with it, it may not be considered a truck to some but it sure has driven better than any truck I’ve ever driven, the 4Runner is a beast

Best dealership I have ever dealt with. I’m 70 so have had many cars. Just bought my 3rd Outback, second one from this dealership. They were so easy and pleasant or work with. My Salesman, Mark Ziehr, was such a great person I felt like he was family❤️ You can’t go wrong with these folks.

2017 Toyota 4Runner review
I purchased a 2017 4Runner TRD OffRoad brand new. This is the second one we"ve owned the first one being a 2007. This is the best vehicle we"ve ever owned. If your looking for alot of bells and whistles this is prbly not the ride for you. If your lookin for something durable and rugged then look no further. Great off road features, smooth ride and ample storage makes it a winner. Except for having to replace the hood latch this beast has been trouble free. The halogan headlights are way outdated and I replaced them with LED. As of this review I had an appraisel of 29,000.00 with 75k mi and I paid 36,000.00 brand new. Would like to get a pickup but I don"t know if I can part with her.

2017 Toyota 4Runner review
I love everything about my 2017 TRD PRO Cement Gray 4Runner "except" the ENTUNE system. The Quick Text message system only works 1 out of 20 times. Not very useful when hands free safety is concerned. Dealer R&Red the Entune system, however replacement Entune has same problem. Not happy as this adds to the danger of handling a phone instead of using the Entune Quick Text while driving. The Entune system Quick Text didn't work with either of my new Samsung or Moto Android phones even after I changed phone carriers. Also the right side touch screen buttons on the original Entune system failed as well. Very disappointed Toyota. This was my second 4runner purchase. Other than the Entune system, a perfect vehicle IMO.

At the beginning did not were take care of in the proper way. The guy who was helping us stopped doing it because he was going out for lunch. Then came Victoria Carrasco who saved our lives and she is the best..!!
2023 Toyota 4Runner review
Great looking, fun to drive 4x4, super reliable, leather interior but strong enough for 2 dogs and 2 kids. Goes anywhere. Roof rack easy to use. HAs all the electronic helper (BSM, cross traffic alert, lane keeping, adaptive cruise). The downside is the gas milage. 16.5 to 18 mpg depending on time of year & type of gas (summer vs winter gas). No service issues in 45,000 miles but they did some fuel pump recall when I was in for an oil change
