Amazing build quality…you can feel it in everything. The last of its kind. Buy one while they’re still around. Don’t buy if you’re concerned about fuel mileage. Trade off is drive it easily 20 yrs without replacing hybrid battery packs and CVT transmissions. Old school bulletproof reliability and quality.

2016 Toyota 4Runner review
It's the very last body on frame bullet proof SUV. It's built like a tank is great for all types of driving situations and here in Illinois where the roads are almost as terrible as it's governor it needs to be ready to drive over potholes the size of Pritzkers rear end and handle it. I've had no problems and plan on holding onto it especially now that Toyota has taken a turn for the worse with garbage 4 cylinder turbos.

2024 Toyota 4Runner review
I have yet to get this 2024 4runner TRD Pro stuck, and I have tried. Love this thing. Its already made it across the country and back. Ive had it since April of 2024 and about to break 20k miles. Had water to the bumper and mud to the frame and this thing keeps on ticking wheels keep turnin.

2018 Toyota 4Runner review
Two reviews below clearly doesn’t understand how having a FRAME instead of a unibody means. Take your Ford Exploder, Honda pile, Jeep Grandcrappy and flush them where they belong. The 4runner has Solid rear axle, IFS with upper and lower control arms, and a real transfer case with low range. If you are looking to stay on the pavement and pay out the wazzoo for suspension repairs if you do hit the dirt. Then go ahead and buy those “cheaper” SUV’s. If you want a true and classic SUV the way they were first built, then the 4Runner is for you. Good factory ground clearance, yet can cruise to ANY destination. Yeah that’s why we defend these. That’s why they hold there value. That’s why there nothing else on the market that can compete. I hit dirt roads every day and sometimes I can’t tell if I’m on pavement or dirt. Super smooth suspension and dependability you won’t find in any other vehicle in its class. I’ll give a wave as I pass you on the beach while your buried in the sand. You will regret buying any other so called truck.

2024 Toyota 4Runner review
Traded 2023 Highlander Ltmd AWD for 2024 4 runner because it was sadly disappointing. Chose 2024 4runner before they ruin it with the 2.4L turbo & electric motors the 2025 is suppose to get. Have a 2022 4runner we love so why not have another as our second vehicle. Both are TRD Off Road models and seem to go just about anywhere you dare with surprising results Everytime ! Good visibility,great comfort, enough room and safe & reliable.

It was so painful and awful I had decided to give up and just sink money into my current car and try again next year. I had an appointment at carmax the following Sunday and Dwyane called me to verify the time. I told him what happened the previous day and said I would be keeping my car because I needed a good rate and didn't want to be making crazy payments. He said, I hear you and totally understand, I'm happy to help you whenever you're ready. Just so you know when you are ready I have a good rate for you so I know we can find you something to make you happy. I was surprised because the other dealership said we couldn't get close to what I needed. Well folks, I'm in a new car, my payments aren't crazy and I have peace of mind. I've owned this car for at least a year now. And the ride comfort is better than they say. It is on the road I'm impressed with the off-road. Ability of this vehicle. Love the looks and the style. I was actually looking for a truck. When I bought this but I'm glad I made my decision for the forerunner.

2023 Toyota 4Runner review
Just purchased by 3rd 4runner Limited. Love that Toyota is reliable and I like sitting up over looking traffic. Toyota's hold there resale value. I did not purchase the extended warranty, I've never used it previously and think it's a waste of money unless you pur a EV. Also, the dealership might try to get you to buy windshield coverage....it's already in my auto insurance coverage. Shop around for rates, usually a credit union has pretty good rates if your credit score is good. Dealerships generally run higher interest rates. Also, make sure you get 2 key fobs. Just offering some general buying tips.

2018 Toyota 4Runner review
Love my 4Runner but the only thing wrong with it is the KDSS problems that no one knows how to fix. Light comes on in the winter and starts leaking. Dealer replaced it once and they paid the $4, 000.00 because it was the first time that they had seen this. Now it almost winter and the lights coming back on.

2023 Toyota 4Runner review
It’s a 2023 so it only has 25’000 miles on it at this time, but I’m absolutely satisfied with the purchase. Sure, it’s not designed to be fast, ultra-comfortable, fuel efficient, but it excels in handling rough ranch roads and rough Dallas city potholes, nice narrow body for tight parking. It’s great as a highway cruiser, and the secret of the 4Runner is if you go 30-40mph over a fairly level road (AC off) you’ll hit 60mpg! Quite happy with it, a real urban assault vehicle, wish they came with a better selection of exterior colours though 👍
