2016 Toyota Sequoia review
I have owned a lot of trucks in my life, and I am a loyal Toyota fan. The Sequoia was my first half ton Toyota truck. Purchased my 2016 Sequoia SR5 used in 2021 at 81,000. It is now a week away from 2025 and 156,000. This truck is a beast and I love it. Purchased to haul the family around and tow a small horse trailer. I couldn't be happier with her. Tons of leg room, incredible reliability, comfortable for long trips, tows like it's her business, and she never disappoints. We have only needed to invest typical maintenance / upkeep expenses and tires. Sure, the gas mileage could be better, but it's the expected gas mileage for comparable engines across all manufacturers. The only annoying thing is the Toyota 'rattle' that is common with several models. The license plate sometimes rattles and the noise is annoying (throw some foam strips under the license plate to fix). The 2016 model year is a solid truck.

This car is just what we needed! Lots of space and leg room. Not much “trunk” space and pretty terrible gas mileage, but we knew what we were getting and get that the benefits outweighed those 2 issues.

2008 Toyota Sequoia review
Had a 2005 Limited for five years and just replaced it with a 2008 Limited. The 2008 is better in every way. The 5.7l motor provides “muscle car” performance for this 6000lb SUV. You can fit 275/65/20 (34”) tires without modification - previous owner did a body color grill surround and LED headlights to upgrade the look. With a light foot i can average near 15 mpgs and up to 18 on the highway- not bad for something with the comfort and space of most living rooms lol. Easily the best vehicle I have owned in 40+ years of driving

I am a fan of Toyotas and this new Sequoia hits all the buttons for style performance & technology yeah it’s a little pricey but compared to the other big SUVs in the market, I think it’s reasonable.

2023 Toyota Sequoia review
We bought this with 21k on it. It's a really stylish looking ride. We understood the rear cargo issues folks are having when we bought the vehicle. It works fine for us. The car came with a tow hitch and we have a carrier for that area to hall extra luggage. The fuel economy doesn't compare to the ratings given by the manufacturer, but for the size and power of the car it's quite good. We average 18 to 19 all the way around.. The car rides great for it's size and is very comfortable and the seats are very spacious. So far we are very pleased with this car. One note. Every person in the reviews talks of wind noise at 55MPH. It surely is a problem Toyota needs to look into. We like the car so much that we are willing to overlook this one issue. BUT it is a real issue. This is where the luxury of the car disappears.

I went to Capital Toyota with the idea of buying a new car. However, after working with Brandon Dale I decided to purchase a previously owned RAV4 Hybrid. Dale (as he goes by) was the reason! He was genuine, funny, knowledgeable and did not (I mean DID NOT) push me in any way to buy a car immediately. He had me drive the car I eventually bought and also a new one. He let me make all the decisions and was actually the nicest young man I have ever encountered at a car dealership. After the sale he helped me with the technology of setting CarPlay up and then one more time when I came back and had more technology questions. I can’t say enough how much I enjoyed the experience of working with Dale. He gives ”used car salesmen” a very bad rap. Lol He was the epitome of genuine and easy going. 2023 Toyota Sequoia review
2024 Sequoia Platinum.....We love it!! ( although not necessarily the hefty price tag!!!!) It has Plenty of power, lots of bells and whistles and very comfortable and safe. Advertised Gas milage advertised seems a little deceiving, but all in all a great vehicle!! Lots of fun to drive.
