At a time when I was moving around two dogs and a cat, this car was an absolute must. It was a great value to start and even more so now that I use it as a second vehicle. The only maintenance I've done is the routine oil changes, etc. I expect to own it for another 10 years

This is my 3rd Prius. For a couple years, we owned 2 Priuses (Prii?) at one time: a Green 2007 Base model with cloth seats and then added a Red 2009 Touring model with leather seats. I started driving for Uber/Lyft in the '09 Prius in Jan of 2015. The Chicago Uber/Lyft mileage rates were pretty low, so having a car that averaged 50 mpg was a plus. Then, after selling the '07, we traded in the '09 for the 2012 PPI. Bought it in Nov of 2018 at a Chicago Warehouse Dealer. It was in perfect shape and had tinted windows. Then in 2022 we moved from Chicago to Florida and bought a house with Solar Panels. I added Instacart to my Gig work and most of the time, my deliveries are on electric only miles. Even doing Gig work....I average only about $25 a week in Gas costs. In all 3 Prii....I've never needed any major repairs. I change the oil every 5k miles and have never needed new brakes yet on any of them since I do my best to use the coasting/regeneration method of braking.....which I believe extends the life of the brakes. Only regret is: the car has HEATED seats.....which was great in Chicago, but now here in Florida....wish they were Air Conditioned seats instead! I already have my eyes set on the new 2023 Prius Plug in (Prime?)....but will wait for them to come on the used car market. My current 2012 PPI will be too old for rideshare in 2027....so I have a good 3 more years to do research.

This my second Toyota Corolla hatchback se. Best car in gas mileage and reliable and safety features love for myself and for my kids. We are all in Toyota!!

I’m 46 and I have had many different cars but this one in particular is the best of the best, it is 2024 I live in Chicago and this car is so strong, no rust, transmission works perfect, engine is amazing and I put 300k plus miles on it DO YOU BELIEVE IT!!?? You better!!! and after all this miles a learn so much about that you need to pay attention to make their life longer. I totally recommend to have one of this.

We just bought our 2nd Car at Real Deal Cars. Our daughter loved her first car we've purchsed 2-3 years ago, it never failed us. Recently we just went back and bought ourselves an SUV which was a struggle to find but this dealership managed to find it at a good deal. I sure tire of the "free energy" postings. You honestly think your utility company comps you for the extra kilowatt usage? These are great little cars, even took mine on a Minnesota to Texas and back road trip with decent comfort at full highway speeds and no, it didn't look as if I was lead car in a funeral procession either. You can honestly cruise all day at 80 should you wish to do so. Reliability? If this Prius is like my 2008 then I can expect to get a trouble free 218,000+ miles out of it and then see its current owner still tooling about the area. Take a look and see where these are made. In a country that still values quality of performance and strives for perfection.

we purchased our 2019 subaru legacy through Marty just a few weeks ago. From the minute we stepped food on their lot and starting talking to Marty we felt very welcomed and not pressured. Marty is an excellent salesman with a ton of experience. I always felt like he had my interest in mind and was willing to help me achieve my goal, which was buying a car. Hands down, I would buy another car from him again. As far as my vehicle goes, this past few days with snow has been excellent to drive with little to no concern over the conditions. Excited to be a subaru owner. we looked at a ton of other vehicles like honda, mercedez, bmw, audi, and we just felt like the features and price couldn't be beat.

The one weak point is that there is a design defect. The exhaust manifold leading to cylinders tends to get clogged up. Must be cleaned every 60 k miles (200 dollar job) to avoid head gasket replacement. Otherwise should run forever. 250 k miles and doesn't use drop of oil. 2014 is known to be vintage year, with all kinks worked out of generation 3 - except for aforementioned. Besides being ultra reliable, the car is simply the best use of space and readily available fuel possible. Enormous cargo space with back seats down. Up, passengers have room almost equivalent to full-size sedan. Simply best car ever made. Just look out for traction battery expense. But even that can be mitigated using rebuilt batteries and independent shops.

7 years old and I've never had a single mechanical issue. Just maintain it per factory specs. Great gas mileage. Not a car to pick up chicks with.:0)==-)

I have a 2013 Prius. It has 129k on it. This is by far the most reliable & efficient vehicle. I had only had to change the oil & that is it. It regularly gets approximately 55/60 MPG. I absolutely love this vehicle & would not hesitate to get another Prius.

The Prius is the last cat you will have to buy. The reason being is that this vehicle is extremely reliable. It gets over 50 MPG & it doesn’t have any issues or problems whatsoever. I was skeptical upon purchasing this vehicle, being 6 ft. 1 & 235 lbs, but it actually is quite comfortable inside. Overall this is a rock solid vehicle, it will not disappoint you in any way. Highly recommended!

No car issues compared to previous cars I’ve had. Traveled from NJ to NYC for at least 9 months using this car. Only issue was getting new tires of how much I was traveling. 155k odo running like it’s brand new. $20 a week on gas. Traveling at least 24 miles 5x a week. Reliable, gas saver and comfortable car.

My 2010 Prius with the solar panel package has been the best car I’ve ever owned. At 180k miles it drives like a dream and I’ve never had to replace anything besides the brakes. If I drive right I actually get 60-85 mpg. It’s a really wonderful car. I expect another 50 to 100k more miles out of it.

The help was friendly and very well developed. All information and requirements was observed and committed and was helpful. The assignment for a used car was pleased to me and theirs no doubt about the satisfaction and owner of the vehicle that was given to me. Great drivability! Great room! Unfortunately, not confident in expertise at service center for plug in hybrid issues. No one has seen enough issues to understand how they can malfunction... they are totally dependent on computer codes and what the manual says.... haven’t really studied the tecnology and engineering enough to be able to anticipate and or respond to technical questions and circumstances.... sales people are completely oblivious to the technology!!! Cannot answer simple engineering questions about car! Service department seems only modestly more experienced, and have no passion or desire to really know or understand.... so their ability to inform and guide the customer is basically non existent. They call “ experts” elsewhere in the country... don’t appear to care to become experts themselves. This means that the customer has little to no confidence that their car is actually going to be fixed properly because they are completely reliant on manual and mechanics located elsewhere to solve issues.... fully expect that any upcoming repairs will be “ out of the box” repairs.... computer says that EGR valve is malfunctioning, so it needs a new one! When all it needs is a vacuum hose reconnected.... or something down these lines. This is really bad that the customer will need to understand their own car better than dealership mechanics, and will mean that extremely expensive parts will be seen as the solution to “ fixing” the oroblem...eg, I won’t be surprised if we own the vehicle for 10 plus years, that a new computer control module will be found to be needed because the code said it was malfunctioning.... when a small gasket waterproofing the compartment has failed and causes it to work improperly when it wet outside... The customer is left feeling uncared about, or cared for... and that Toyota hires fundamentally unprofessional or lazy service mechanics, and dont properly expect expertise or mastery about their products...

I absolutely recommend this car if you need a workhorse to drive you back and forth and not to die on you. A couple things about this car --- 200k miles with multiple total-loss level accidents because my jobs at the time had me on the road most days. Still running strong. I just took it on an interstate road trip and it doesn't miss a beat. This car is hard to kill. I don't know how this thing was built by Toyota but it is seriously impressive value for the money. Worth literally every penny for what I've squeezed out of it so far. Cons: the disrespect you get is insane. I've driven other cars and the hate that this car receives in particular is laughable. Also the performance is ridiculously bad, which everyone knows. One way to sum this up, I had a friend of mine once say, "It's hard to look another man in the eye while getting out of a Prius."

This is best Prius I have owned. The safety features allow me to be a better driver. The furl economy is amazing - 58 mpg on the last tank of gas with in town driving!

this is the third prius we have bought new. '01, '06 and '16. each time the car was a little larger, engine a little more powerful and better fuel economy each time. each has been very dependable - none have never left us broken down on roadside after total of around 410,000 miles of driving them. original tires are low rolling resistance, so make sure you get low rolling resistance tires when replacing the tires as they make big difference in mpg. my truck is more comfortable, but it weighs over 6000 lbs and gets 10 mpg, so only use it when necessary. have taken the prius on 5000 mile trips with no discomforts to speak of. (i am 6-1, 250#) another car i have has much better performance, but it passes everything but gas stations. all in all, even though i have 7 cars, the prius is my daily driver and the '16 has averaged about 55 mpg overall. just wish it was available in a convertible :)

80,000 miles so far on my 2013 Prius C. My car has been hit twice and has come out of those repairs with zero issues, still feels like the car it was the day I bought it (purchased new from dealership). Incredible gas mileage. Only downside to this car is that it is not a quiet ride. I can really only use Bluetooth for calls if I’m driving around the city, as soon as I’m on the highway it’s too loud.

I just retired and got my XLE 7 months ago. I was lucky to get it. Someone else decided to pass on it. I have some upgrades like the 12 inch screen and glass top. I would have never purchased a Pruis before this new model. So far, I absolutely love it. I don’t drive it like a sports car, so I am getting 53.5 to 54,5 mpg. It is amazing to spend $12 dollars on gas every two weeks instead of $30 to $40 every week like I use to. I really love the design. I have cutting edge silver. It isn’t quite as luxurious as other cars I have had but that wasn’t why I purchased it. I think it can last me the rest of my life.

This car meets all my needs. It gets great gas mileage, clean, runs great! I would recommend this car to anyone looking for an economical car for commuting or just driving around town.
