Hi, I brought my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. The customer experience was fabulous! The guy at the front desk was polite, patient and very helpful. He mentioned it's a busy day (Saturday) for servicing and it might take 2 hours. I wasn't happy about waiting around. However, he came and found me after 45 minutes and said my car was ready. I was a happy customer! The waiting area is very impressive. They have vending machines with food and drinks for purchase. As I ran out of the house before eating breakfast so having vending machines with healthy food was a great experience. The facility where you wait is clean and roomy with TV's and comfortable chairs. I'll be back for sure when my car needs servicing.
2020 Honda Odyssey review
We have had 2002, 2004, and now have 2010 and 2020 Odyssey vans.The Odyssey is extremely reliable. With proper maintenance will last in excess of 200,000 miles. We sold the 2004 at 230,000+ miles, and it was still running great. The 2010 we have is approaching 170,000 miles. We are two 80-year-olds; we just like having plenty of space to carry things.

This was the first time that I've used CarMax... always felt that the "no-haggle" thing was just a grift. It's not. Very fairly priced car in pristine condition. They even transferred it for free. Transaction was relatively quick and painless as well. They were even able to take care of the REAL tags and title there as well. If you do your pricing research, they are most definitely an option. And thankfully there was no sleazy salesman vibe or upwelling. Would gladly use them again. Oh, and they actually FILLED the tank, which USED TO BE commonplace, and I didn't have to ask.

The sales associate I working with was great, very accommodating as I had children with me. It was a bit difficult because they were renovating at the time I was there and they usually have a kids area. I?m sure it will be a little easier when everything is finished. The only slow part was actually signing the papers for the vehicle purchase because the business office was behind and what was originally predicted to me to take one hour took almost 2.5 hours.
2023 Honda Odyssey review
This is my second Honda Odyssey Elite having traded in my 2019 for a 2023. Why did I make the trade? I hadn't had any problems with my 2019, but the trade in value of my 2019 made the purchase of a 2023 a "no brainer". I had considered purchasing a Toyota Sienna Platinum because of the fuel economy. But the price of the Toyota was so much higher than the Honda, especially when you consider that the Rear Seat Entertainment System costs extra on the Toyota and dealers are adding premiums above MSRP. I calculated I would have to drive the a Toyota around 80,000 miles before I would actually begin saving money on gasoline.

June 30, 2026 It was Sunday June 28, 2026 at about 10:30 PM at night on our drive home to Illinois when we experience a brake system failure, there was a loud squealing on the rear brakes without even stepping on it and then later was a loud grinding noise. Since I had my family of four with me, and for the safety of everyone, I decided to exit the nearest town and drop off the van to the nearest available Honda dealer service center. Drop it off, hoping that it will get fixed the next day. The Honda dealership was Herson’s Honda at Frederick, Maryland. Herson's Honda - New & Used Honda Dealership That night, there were already 12 cars dropped off ahead of us and I was the 13th drop off. I took the chance and will just wait for the car to be fixed the next day. We stayed in a nearby hotel and rented a car near the Honda dealership. MONDAY Morning, My wife and I drive to Honda the next morning to check the repair status of the van. My overall experience with Herson’s Honda was more than I expected. It was outstanding! 1. Cleanliness: area is clean and organized. 2. Staff: I was immediately welcomed by one of the service advisors and was directed to the service advisor who was assigned to my car. 3. Service Advisor: his customer service was outstanding from start to finish. His name is JAMES SPRADLIN. 4. Empathy: James understood my feelings and frustration and concerns and the need to drive the family home but theres other customers who were ahead of me with appointment. But James constantly monitored repairs in progress. The next day i received a text from Honda dealership of possible repair and parts to be ordered asap. 5. James constantly provided me an update thru the app. I like that app. Shows all, cost, diagnosis and the choice to accept repairs or not. Thank you James. It was really helpful to relieve a lot of stress and worries if the car will be fixed soon OR get stuck in Maryland. 6. Service and Repair: Diagnosis and recommendations were was as I expected. Technicians were honest and did a good repair on the brakes. It also did more damage to tue caliper which I also suspected. 7. Cost was regular labor and parts. No issues with it. Lives and safety are more important and irreplaceable. Money can be replaced. 8. TUESDAY June 30, the job was completed Tuesday evening. UPDATE: its almost 600 miles since we left Herson’s Honda and the van is rolling great. had no issues. Thank you all especially to James OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE and the honest technicians diagnosis which were all correct! God bless you all. 5 stars to Herson’s Honda at Frederick, Maryland. 2023 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid review
I had a 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 (that I absolutely loved), but the lease was ending. Since that purchase, I have had two grandchildren, and though I could take them with me in the Ioniq, it was a tight squeeze (again, it was a GREAT car). I decided I needed something with more seating, which meant a three row SUV or a minivan. I was used to an all electric vehicle and wanted to get something that was at least hybrid. I honestly thought my days of a minivan were way behind me when my children got older so I was kind of dreading that option. The truth is I couldn't be happier. The mileage has been fantastic - I've been averaging about 50 mpg. Because the van is a plug-in hybrid, I drive a lot of local miles on all electric which helps immensely with the mileage. There is plenty of room for my kids (and their kids). Lots of places to plug in all of their devices. My wife's aunt told me that the back seats were incredibly comfortable as well. The only thing I wish it had were a few more amenities - but that is entirely my fault. I bought it used and picked up the first decently priced one I found. I should have waited a bit for one that was a bit more loaded, but again, that's on my, not the vehicle. The ride is incredibly smooth and the power is just fine for a minivan - obviously not what I was used to with the EV, but then I don't expect that. I'm enjoying driving in comfort and getting in and out is much more comfortable on my old back!

2015 Dodge Grand Caravan review
Just purchased another used Grand Caravan, this is the sixth one over past number of years, found it to be a very reliable and versatile vehicle. Always managed to get 300,000 Klm on each one, never had any major issues other then brakes and normal maintanence . Just purchased 2015 and in excellent condition given the year but is in Limp mode with code P1745 showing on meter. Just hoping it's under a recall , sure would like to get mobile again.

2023 Chrysler Pacifica review
I purchased the limited version. I am really happy with how it looks and performs so far. Plenty of room and no more arguments between children. They all have their own space. Took it on a long vacation and it performed great! With all the room and all the hooks up for all the kid’s devices it was great. Even has a hook up so our cooler ran all the time. No need to worry about it loosing power when the car was not running. I love my car, best car so far. I never considered myself a minivan person till now! The kids enjoy going on road trips now. The third roll setting is a game changer! All the grandkids fight for that setting. I have to agree it is pretty darn comfortable I would say it’s worth the price.

2019 Ford Transit Connect review
My biggest peeve is the tailgate isn’t powered. Ordered the top of the line mr Model sight unseen because my dealership didn’t carry them. I wanted all the bells and whistles. Powered lift gate isn’t an option. It is painful to my injured spine to lift it and manually move the rear seats. The grandkids love the 3rd seat and I love the storage space behind it. I have made a Sam’s run for the month and able to pack everything behind the 3rd seat. The inside is great for human comfort but not for shopping or I should say storing packages. To be honest, my front seats are ALL THE WAY back. I have plenty of room and that’s a lot. I don’t like being close to the steering wheel in case of an accident. I wish the slots for charging my devices weren’t so close to the driver’s cup holder. It’s too easy for liquids to Spill in them. The only other item I wish was different is I miss a hard copy manual. There are options I still don’t know how to use. My GPS is not updated because of that. I like the van. My grandkids and dogs like it. Tomorrow I will get up, remove the two blankets I have protecting them floors and spend hours vacuuming the dog hair out the fabric on the back of the seats and floors. I have leather seats but there’s still Too much surface that holds onto my Husky’s and Belgian Shepherd’s ‘Glitter’. I do have to double check my doors are locked when I leave them in the car with the AC running. I have to use the remote because the double tap of the horn alert is deceiving. It doesn’t mean the door is locked. I do appreciate how easy it is to unlock the car without having the remote in my hand. All in all, it served the reasons I purchased it. I do wish I had paid the extra money for the Sprinter. But it would not have fit in my garage nor my budget.
