Christopher was an excellent sales consultant during a busy year-end with a more complicated sale that required shipping the vehicle out of state to a rather picky buyer (me). Compared to another dealer I contacted this experience was “night and day”. I’d definitely recommend others to consider working with this dealership at least for the sales experience. I particularly enjoyed the fact that Chris found another RSX driver amongst the White Bear employees to perform a brief road test of my eventual car to set my mind at some ease for a real-world experience. They also were fairly cooperative about most of my requests to “seal the deal” (minor touch-up/clean up items). My only suggestions would be to see about hastening the shipping experience if that’s even possible and put a bit more effort into detail of the car before listing for sale - the car had been in their hands for a couple of months and just needed a couple small detail items to make it close to perfect for selling a 20+ year old vehicle (these were the items I had to request at time of negotiation). Nice work overall - just looking forward to the shipper to arrive that will be a great day!

We have had one for about 7 years. Very good little car. Always starts up nice and fast and compact. Only problem was leaking water through the sunroof.

2005 Volvo S40 review
I had a 2007 Volvo S40T a few years back and was amazed by it, simple to work on, reliable as all xxxx, quick and a gas saver, so I recently decided to get another S40, this time I got a 2005 S40 I, yes that same diehard 5 cylinder motor, but without the turbo, and let me tell you, it's crazy fast, saves gas and is fun to drive, Love my Volvo.

The mileage is low compared to other 2005 vehicles. The ride is smooth and super exceeds my expectation of an older model vehicle it rides just as smooth as a 2020! The interior is in good condition and has been maintained well.

2009 Volvo S40 review
Drove a 240 DL for 15 years and sold it, but it was still running with over 150,000 miles (which is not all that high of mileage for that car). Drove a Buick and it had transmission problems at less than 30,000 miles. Came back to Volvo and I expect this 4-1/2 year old car to take me well into the 2020s. This is a fun, sleek, modern ride and I LOVE IT!!!

It drives smooth and quiet. Everything mechanical works great. The only problems I've had are with electrical. The wiring harnesses are kind of fickle, but other than electrical it was a great buy.

2007 Volvo S40 review
Car has been very reliable and dependable. It does have the typical Volvo sunroof drain issue that needs to be addressed annually or else you will have a pool of water in your footwell. Went thru drivers side bearings more than usual but truly that's about it. Fantastic reliability and safety.

2005 Volvo S40 review
Its great I had a hyundai sonata for 5 years and it was nice but a lot of the features didn't work like the mirror defroster and the ac compressor was bad. This car is everything I need! Great gas mileage winter mode for driving in snow and a 6 cd player that plays cdrs. It doesn't have Bluetooth or an aux jack but the sound is great and I plan on getting one installed in the future. The interior cloth on the roof started to peel away but cosmetic issues are not important to me. And I keep getting a check engine light for the system being too rich but I was told its because of the ethanol in modern gasoline and a software update will fix it. That's the only issue ive had with the engine its really solid! No issues with any major problems and thats what matters to me. Love the car hope to keep it for 300,000 miles it has 71,000 now
