Very comfortable and easy getting around town after trading my big xxx Mercedes. Display and interaction very easily followed. First Volvo was 1969 that lasted 20 years. Glad to be back in a Volvo.

I really enjoy this dealership and my service agent - Alex. I have taken my Volvo to two previous dealerships for service that should be covered by Volvo's warranty (Santa Monica and Pasadena) and both times have come away disappointed. South Bay Volvo serviced my V90 no questions asked.

Our service tech, Roman Garcia, was great to work with. From the moment he met us at our car upon drop off, he made us feel as though our business was most important. He listened to our concerns and said he'd look into them. We were given a loaner as he noted our vehicle would be in the shop all day long. When we got back, he greeted us and discussed all of our concerns and explained to us what the resolution was. Thank you Roman, we appreciated your attentiveness and professionalism.

I went into the dealership on a whim as I was not privy to the level of vehicle Volvo had been producing. Rafik, was extremely professional, patient and the ideal sales member. Rafik greeted me warmly and without pressure showed me the advantages of getting a Volvo. He made the car not only seem fantastic, but specifically fantastic for me. He stayed patient when we went over pricing and never seemed irritated, or pressured me during negotiations. He genuinely seemed to care that I left the dealership with a car I loved and a payment I was happy with. I had been visiting dealerships for nearly two weeks and Rafik’s demeanor was a breath of fresh air. I can say without a doubt that he was the best sales person at any of the dealerships I had dealt with. I am now the proud owner of a beautiful Volvo, that perfectly combines luxury, convenience, safety and is amazingly fun to drive.

Sally, Johanna, and the whole team were absolutely incredible to work with! So fast, responsive, helpful, patient when I didn't respond, attentive, understanding, human, professional, kind, and efficient! I couldn't have hoped for a better experience. I have been raving to my friends about how easy the whole experience was, even delivering the car to my front door to complete the lease paperwork and leave me with the keys after a tutorial! Loved the whole process. Thank you!

We had a list of Volvo XC60s we planned to look at across several dealerships, and Penske Volvo was our very first stop. We never made it to the others because there was no reason to. From the moment we met Patrick, he made us feel comfortable. Buying a car is usually something I dread, I've always found the process stressful and overwhelming, but Patrick completely changed that experience for us. He was incredibly knowledgeable, honest, patient, and never made us feel pressured. It truly felt like he wanted to help us find the right car, not just make a sale. Thanks to Patrick, we drove away with an amazing Volvo XC60, a fantastic deal, and complete confidence in our purchase. I honestly can't say enough good things about him or the team at Penske Volvo. If you're looking for a vehicle and want to work with someone who genuinely cares, ask for Patrick Reed. We are so grateful for the experience and would happily buy another car from him again.

Volvo Cars of Santa Monica review
Exceptional Leasing Experience at Volvo of Santa Monica I just leased a Volvo XC90 Plus, T8 Plug-in Hybrid from Volvo of Santa Monica, and as someone with over 40 years of experience leasing and buying, I am thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service I received. From the moment I inquired about the vehicle, Mr. David Afshar, the sales associate, promptly reached out with all the details about the car I was interested in. His professionalism and responsiveness made the initial steps of the process seamless and efficient. However, it was Mr. Armin Buholzer, the dealership manager, who truly elevated the experience. Armin went above and beyond to ensure I was matched with the perfect vehicle, providing expert guidance and a clear, transparent overview of my options. Not only was the car selection impeccable, but Armin also offered very aggressive pricing that was far below what I had been quoted by other dealerships, ensuring I received incredible value. Both Armin and David and the entire sales team were attentive, courteous, and focused on making the entire process as smooth and stress-free as possible. Their dedication to customer satisfaction was evident at every step. I walked away with a fantastic deal on a beautiful car, and I couldn’t be happier. If you’re looking for exceptional service and VERY competitive pricing, I highly recommend Volvo of Santa Monica, and specifically Mr. Armin Buholzer and Mr. David Afshar. They truly make car leasing an enjoyable and professional experience.

Volvo Cars of Santa MonicaReviews
2021 Volvo XC40 review
My partner wanted me to get a vehicle that availed itself of all the current self-driving and safety technologies currently on offer, and after much research, this is car I landed own. And the XC40 did not disappoint. I'm approaching my first year of ownership and comfortably say it is the best vehicle I've ever owned. With near seamless adaptable cruise control making multiple long-haul road trips as effortless as driving across town, my Volvo makes me want to drive it anywhere. Stylistically, it's a bit frustrating to now see every car on the road racing to copy its black-roof aggression, but I still get looks from folks who want to know if "that's a Volvo?" Of particular note is how the interior eschewed the trend of tacking on a giant tablet screen, opting instead for a generous dash-embedded interface that is comprehensive, intuitive and instantly responsive. I also love the app-driven features like remote start and customer temperature. The reputation for reliability is well-earned and validated. In summary, the prospect of this car one day needing to be replaced fills me with anxiety because I want to drive it forever. Well done, Volve.

Clay was the best salesman ever. Patient, knowledgeable, and informative! We can’t say enough. We did find the perfect car. There was no pressure. Go see him he’s a great guy.
2019 Volvo XC40 review
Head Light control can not be seen on the column at night. Stock tires were horrible. I switched to yokohama's. The rims design in terrible. There is a space behind the spokes which allows for dirt and brake dust to build up. Difficult to give a finished look when detailing. Plus I can't use the GPS. NOT convenient to communicate with. Engine noise is disturbing. Biggest thing is the TPM. Would prefer it to actually read the psi of each tire. Raises your anxiety not knowing the true pressure.

CarMax Costa MesaReviews
CarMax Costa Mesa review
I purchased a used Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG from the Carmax in Costa Mesa, CA about a month ago. I started out by calling the Carmax and reaching a sales agent. She worked with me by setting aside the car so that I could fly down to pick it up. She picked me up from the airport about 15 miles away from their dealership. When I saw the car, I found some minor cosmetic issues with the car and Carmax assured me that they would repair them at my local Carmax in Roseville, CA. I will be writing a review about that Carmax as well. They issued me a form stating repairs to be done at my local dealership. I informed the salesperson that I would be pushing the car a bit and she was fine with it. After the test drive, the car seemed to be in great condition, so we headed in for the paperwork. The appearance inside of the dealership building did not convey a welcoming feeling though. It felt like a warehouse with desks in it. The people within the building were nice and friendly though. The paperwork was pretty quick as I already had a loan check from the credit union. It took about 30 minutes and then I was on my way. Overall, I would say the experience was positive.

2023 Volvo XC40 review
This is my 2nd XC40 and it is one of the most perfect cars but its by no means cheap. The car can be as loaded as its bigger brother, except for heads up display. They all use the same engines, with the exception of turbo types, and bi-turbo options. All Volvos are moving to mild hybrid as standard and all 2023 XC40's are now mild hybrids. The XC40 is nimble, loaded and well designed. It has just about every feature including all wheel drive, Google auto, panoramic sunroof, power tail gate, and leather seats, redesigned for 2023. It is stylish, detailed and not meant to feel like the entry model. In fact, it can cost more than its bigger brother the XC60! Driving it is a pleasure as it is preppy and confident.

Great service from the time I made an inquiry online to signing in the finance department. I drove 90 miles (from Palm Springs) because my local dealership was lackluster, and Volvo OC worked hard to earn my business.
2023 Volvo XC40 review
After only a month, I am truly "in love" with my XC-40. I wanted to get one a few years ago. However, Covid-19 got in the way. When it was finally time to upgrade this year, I did it and have not regretted it. Great ride, all the safety features I wanted, excellent ride and handling , above EPA rated fuel economy, roomy seating. Plenty of room for my golf equipment.

His knowledge of thee brand and features of the vehicle were amazing. He listened to our needs and wants attentively. The entire process went well. After the vehicle of our dreams was located, the negotiation process with Kimo was great. The entire team at Volvo Orange County is amazing. This is the 4th vehicle we have purchased from them and we will be back again.
