I have dealt with Dwyer and Sons Volvo (now LaFontaine) since 1997. They are HANDS DOWN, the best car dealer/service center that I have EVER encountered. I had a Volvo dealer within one mile of my house and I CHOOSE to drive 40 miles to give my business to Frank and his team.

I traded my Range Rover Evoque for this vehicle and this vehicle has everything I loved about the Range Rover and more. The driving experience and comfort of this vehicle is amazing. The simplicity of the touch screen is a definite plus as well as all the other features. It's a very modern, fun vehicle to drive.
My salesperson, Kyle Wusenich, was just fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable and attentive. Quickly responding to my inquires and extremely sensitive during the negotiating process. Kim Harbaugh, New Car Sales Manager, couldn't have been nicer to me or more professional. Can't say enough about the wonderful service I received from both of these individuals.
Love Volvo - LOVE this Vehicle

Comfortable, Quick, Amazing Technology, Beautiful. True to Volvo standards for performance, reliability and ruggedness with all the interior, luxury refinements that make it well worth the price.
I worked with Jan from Carvana- she was able to explain to me the process, make sure I was comfortable with where it was at, was able to be reached and kept communication open. The pick up process went smoothly and I was able to sell my car without any glitches.

I drove this car for a day, was really comfortable, easy to drive, super cockpit and great ride quality. The new modern look makes it a car you really feel proud to drive. Well done Volvo
The work was done by appointment and on time. I was offered a loaner vehicle, but did not want one. They called me when the work was done and I picked up the vehicle which had been washed and vacuumed. I felt like they were concerned about me and my time, and appreciated their efforts to assure I was satisfied with the work done and with the whole process. Overall, well done.
Really loved my Volvo but just too many issues

I bought a 2016 XC 90 T6 Momentum new from the dealer in Jan 2016. I loved it so much in the beginning. It was smooth and quiet and I knew it was one of the safest cars out there. I have 3 kids and we used it as our primary car for family vacations, visiting family out of state and local everything. I am a true soccer mom. But gradually over the al most 3 years we had it it was one thing after another. Some small some major. Tons of recalls and updates. I love over an hour away from the dealer and they were great about getting me a loaner car. But I basically took a full day and sometimes two out of my week to drive it there, wait on it or go do some shopping for a day while it was fixed or updated. Several times I had to leave it for more than one day. Air conditioner never worked good. Was super loud. Defrost only worked on max and was too noisy. Engine would skip out and had the spark plugs serviced or replaced multiple times. The most annoying was this rattle in the front passenger door that sounded like something was loose in there. When you at in that seat it made yo nuts on a longer trip. I asked to have that fixed and after checking it out for a few hours they said after 12k miles that wasn't covered and its would be my own bill. This was my husbands last straw. But I still tried to hang on.IT also had a leaky coolant hose once while my husband was over an hour away at a soccer game with kids and it broke down on the side of the road and had to be towed. I had to go get him and we wasted an entire day. the Biggest issue was the engine light came on multiple times. Each time I would take it in and a few times they said it needed spark plugs and also that they were awaiting a service update from Volvo and actually didn't know how to fix it! while the light was on the engine continued to perform less and less powerful and finally the warranty went off at 50k miles and I was at daughters senior photo shoot an hour away and it smelled awful of smoke and burning. I had to take it back to dealer and they found a hose was leaking coolant again. But engine light was still on and I didn't feel safe driving it. I wrote to Volvo Corp. and complained that now I that the light was on all the time how do I know when a new problem arises that it isn't a new issue? and it isn't covered under warranty anymore so it had to be fixed. They replaced fuel injectors spark plugs AGAIN and said they did a lot of work on it and it was covered. Which I was happy for. I had a new loaner for almost 2 weeks. My husband and I were just over it and finally traded it in on an Audi Q7 this weekend. They need to get this car improved. Maybe the 2017 or 2018 models are better.
When I found this car on the web I didn’t relize at first it was 2 1/2 hours (150 miles) away... I called and talked to Enzo — asked if they deliver and was Leary on purchasing a car unseen. So he FaceTimed me showed me the car inside and out! He worked with me to get the price closer to what I was looking for..Enzo was so easy to work with! We did all the paperwork over the phone and Enzo and Julian delivered it right to our door!! What a great experience-the easiest car buying experience I’ve ever had!!!thank you Enzo & Julian for great customer service!!!
Great SUV, But there are significant problem areas

I own a lot of Volvo's , but this is my first xc90 (v8 Sport, loaded). Replaced my '10 MB 350 BluTec which blew up. Problem areas (and it can cost a ton of money)- Radiator leaks into trans cooler. Once that happens the tranny is toast. Happened to me within a few weeks of my buying. In the end, it was about a $6k ordeal. Also, the front engine cover idler pulley stud often breaks. Another $1k++ repair. Upper Strut mounts are also a problem. Especially passenger side. Replace only with HD IPD. Fuel economy isn't great, but what can you expect from a v8 SUV weighing nearly 5k lbs.
Despite all the problems (I think some of the problems were anomalies--except radiator, there's a SB on it) it is a very good SUV.
I had a great and professional salesperson name Thomas Robinson. Due to my crazy schedule, he was very accommodating. We communicated primarily by email. I told him the car I was looking for and he listened closely and had one delivered to the dealership.
Go to Honda of Troy and ask for Thomas Tom Robinson.

The XC90 is a beautiful and functional SUV. There is plenty of storage space, seating is comfortable, and the large screen is very functional. The cameras are extremely helpful. I am so glad I purchased this car.
We recently purchased a 2016 XC 60 from Suburban Volvo and Jon Smith who handled our sale was a consummate professional . He covered all aspects of the sale and we were more than pleased with the entire process. We highly recommend Jon in the sales department. Go and pay him a visit if you want a great deal and things handled professionally and hassle free. Dan & Connie Krueger.

Between check engine lights and massive water leaks and worn out brakes at 20k miles this truck isn’t worth the hype. The made in China stamps I see on a lot of the interior parts confirm this thing is cheap. The dash board leather peeling off and did mention water leaks. Also still uses too much oil, factory says pistons and rings are no good oil light comes on.
Eric Smith is a Great salesperson! I'm a very tough customer so it takes allot to earn my business and Eric has what it takes. He's all about service and working with the customer. It took me sometime before I was ready to buy and all along the way Eric keep me informed and answered all the questions and concerns I had through emails and phone calls, I really appreciated his patience and professionalism . I was so pleased with the sale and Eric's service, I asked for his business cards so I could pass them out to family and friends. PS Also I like to thank sales manager Jerry Kelley and Nicholas Penrose for helping complete the sale.

The XC90 has everything that you’d find in another full size European SUV (BMW, Mercedes, Audi) for at least $10K less. Awesome car - sporty, fast, comfortable and most of all SAFE. What’s not to love?
This is the second vehicle we have purchased from Suburban Nissan. In both cases we traded in our vehicles and were given fair trade in values. The whole process from start to finish we were treated wonderfully. Our salesperson Josh Bianco was very helpful and listened carefully to my requests and provided me with exactly what I was looking for. You can???t ask for more than that. He kept the ball rolling all the way through the process and when it came time to finalize the deal the finance manager was great and had everything well organized so it only took a very short amount of time and I was on my way with my new car. When the time comes to do it again I will be back. Thanks

Beautiful. comfortable, great options. I thought I would be a Volvo client for life, But... It was a Service Nightmare!!
Favorite worst car I have ever owned. I really wanted it to be a better experience.
We just bought a 2019 XC90 and it was such a great experience. Michael Kian helped us right away and we told him what we were looking for and he listened and really stayed close to that. We wanted to see a bunch of different cars... used and new and Michael was patient and helped us with everything! We would definitely go back to Suburban Volvo. Michael has followed up with us at least a few times and it???s just been 2 weeks.

THE BEST !!
Post warranty issue was handled by Service manager Rich. I received great help on taking my car problem all the way up to Mazda headquarters. So Mazda agreed to cover 2/3 for replacement of a very costly part and associated labor! Great Experience!

It’s the most beautiful car out there. Comfort, luxe and quality!! We owned the first one when it came out and now this newest! I have converted a lot of people to this beauty.
Amy was very welcoming, professional and had a lot of patient with us.She explained everything in a way that even people who are technical challenged like us,could understand every detail of the car,we could not have ask for a better sales person, very impressive!
Happy with the car overall.

This vehicle had everything we were searching for in the price range we desired. Since we were still under warranty, we had a problem with the sliding of the second row fixed. All is well and we are enjoying the excellent performance of the car.
They have more new vehicles than most dealers in the area and the salespeople and managers are all very nice and helpful. We leased a new vehicle and will be back for another soon.

I have had this car for about a month now, and I love it. I went for the 316hp T-6, and I am glad that I did. It is fun to drive. I got it with the air suspension and when you put it in Dynamic mode is does not feel like the 7 passenger SUV that it is. That "can do" spirit from the supercharged and turbocharged 4 cylinders mated with the "I got a gear for that" smooth shifting 8-speed automatic just makes you smile. It feels and handles like a sports car. The Bowers & Wilkins stereo is worth it! I hear sounds from old tunes that I have never heard before. I got a great deal on it as well. It is a luxury car and worth every dollar! PS - it is also my truck, I haul stuff in it and with both rear rows folded a lot of stuff, and it cleans up great for a night out.
Staff was very responsive and the service items performed were completed in a very timely manner.
It pays to research on Cars.com....

We were searching for well over several months for a used, specific Volvo XC90 trim package under a certified program. Our research on Cars.com paid off as we spotted a great deal in a neighboring state (worth the 90 mile drive) and the sales team from sale rep to management were superb. It was perhaps the smoothest and most pleasant dealership experience we've ever had. Car is in pristine condition, it's well covered by the certified warranty for several more years and we just took it on a family road trip and realized, THIS was worth the wait and research on Cars.com, which is our go to site for cars for the whole family.....
Cool SUV. Runs like a Sports car. I have heated leather seats and I get an insurance discount because it's a Volvo. Not a great gas saver but still a nice looking 3rd row seat SUV. You can create a big cargo space just by putting down the two back seats. I love the SUV.
Loving this car! Great performance for the size. Great interior with nice accesories! Shopped for different cars before finally deciding on this make and model.
