I would like to take the time to share with you my experience of recently purchasing a vehicle from Volvo Cars Plymouth, as it seems people only take the time to compose a letter when they have a complaint but never take the time to praise anyone for a job well done! It was a sunny day about a month ago and I drove into their dealership in Plymouth as I was looking to replace the older Acura that I was driving, I was immediately approached by a sales representative who introduced himself as Ian Duffy. He first took the time to listen to me and qualify my needs and desires of what I was looking for in a car. Without going over all those expectations I can tell you he knew just right where to bring me which was a lineup of pre owned lease or executive S 90's, they stood out like Jewels in the sunlight! This was just the beginning of my buying experience, Ian took the time to show me the inventory and explained about their "Pure Price" policy. At first I didn't believe it, I thought it was just another Gimmick as all my past car buying experiences have been what I might label as unpleasant with a lot of pressure and haggling over price. At this time I took all the Information that Ian had given me and left the dealership to think it all over. Now I returned to the dealership with the intension of purchasing, I might add that it was the first dealer that I went to , I know the saying goes "Shop us Last" but in this case they won my business by the first impression I got from Ian as he represented the dealership. As I toggled between the Gray one and the White one with two different interiors Ian went over all the features and took the time to explain everything thoroughly to me, I would include his product knowledge was incredible! After taking the cars for a test drive it was now time to sit down and talk over the deal, I have to say I'm a hard sell for I don't like to leave any stone unturned with what is a very large purchase to me, I admit for whatever reasons was having some reservations, this was when the manager Kevin Misanko came over not to interrupt but to join in so they could do whatever possible to deliver the car to me. Kevin and Ian made me feel relaxed with no pressure as they were working as a team, with no barrier between them and myself as they were very patient to serve my needs,from then forward everything went so smoothly. When he shook my hand, which means everything to me, I knew he was a man of his word and I was going to complete my purchase and become a customer. The story doesn't quit end here, I might add when Ian was not available Ken Scalia another member of the sales team was so helpful in answering any questions that I might of had, When it was time to complete the paperwork for the sale the F & I representative Mark Leone took the same time to explain everything to me thoroughly as I went through this process, everything flowed so smoothly. They should feel very fortunate that you have such a professional and courteous team as Kevin, Ian ,Ken and Mark representing Volvo Cars Plymouth. I will have to rate this whole buying experience as a "10". In closing I can only hope that my experience in the Service Department is of the same quality and if so I will be the biggest advocate to boast of the customer experience at this dealership and recommend it to everyone I can.
