I bought a used 2012 XC70 AWD with 65,000 miles after we were rear-ended in my Volvo 940. Before that one I had a 740 wagon in which I drove almost half a million trouble-free miles. I am not a fan of FWD (that's what this really is with traction control) but my mechanic told me the 3.2 engine was decent. After a test drive, I was really impressed and the turning radius wasn't bad so I bought it. I've now driven about 15,000 miles in it in varying conditions and I am hugely impressed. Despite its having 6 cylinders, the gas mileage is slightly better than my 940 and the difference in driving experience is like night and day. Although it doesn't corner quite as well as my earlier RWD models, the ride is much smoother and infinitely more comfortable. The seats are superb and the engine is so quiet, it almost feels like an electric vehicle. I love the heft of the chassis and the slightly higher ride than a regular car. The folks who have the turbo model speak highly of the performance, but the way I drive, the non-turbo one has plenty of power for my needs. The biggest pity is Volvo doesn't make cars like this any more. The newer ones look fancy but their 4 cylinder turbo motors just can't compare with a six. I expect repair costs to be somewhat high because of the way some components are situated under the hood, being difficult to get to, but until there's a problem I'm not going to worry about it. I love the 6-speed transmission and frankly, there's nothing about the car I don't like. Definitely better than an SUV in every way and more capable off-road than many 4WD vehicles. And it's classy looking. When you open and close the doors you know this is a quality vehicle with excellent engineering and it has safety features second to none.

So my wife picked it out Nov 2014. I was a little apprehensive, but the price was right. It had 9miles and we now have 50,056. The only issue was the front air dam between the wheels. Pull to close to the parking block and it will tear off when you back out. Never bothered to replace it. With gas on the rise our timming was really good. I'd get another V but it was discontinued. Versatile is a perfect description for it. Happy shopping 😁 It really handy size wise and mileage is super.

I had an excellent experience at Fairfield Subaru buying a new 2026 Subaru in March 2026. From start to finish, every interaction I had was professional, sincere, upfront, and without sleazy pressure (a welcome change from many of the interactions I had with sales staff at other dealers as I was deciding which brand and model best fit my needs). The Bolt is the perfect car for commuting and errands around town, particularly if you can charge at home. It is small on the outside but spacious on the inside (at least in the front seats). It is surprisingly peppy - you can easily get the tires to chirp in accelerating. On the downside, not all Bolts have DC fast charging, which would make it impractical for road trips and if you don't have home charging. Check charge port for the orange cap - that means it has DC charging. The Bolts with DC charging only charge at 55 kw, slower than most. Road trips are possible, but it will take an hour to charge every 250 miles. Overall, the Bolt is fun to drive, practical, and great value for money.

I drove a Golf TSI for years and absolutely loved it. Never wanted drive a different car as long as Iived. Then I had a kid(which is is tight with a golf) and someone pulled out in front of me and it got totalled. I took the money and upgraded to the Alltrack because its basically the same car with more room and AWD. Absolutely love it! Gas mileage is significantly lower than my Golf, but it still has some zip. The DSG transmission is like butter. Ill drive this car into the ground.
