I've bought cars over the years, and this dealership impressed me with its straightforward approach. Sales representative Ray Vakill honored our pre-arranged pricing and agreements, and made sure my daughter understood the vehicle's safety features. I would definitely contact Ray for future purchases in Los Angeles. Thank you, Nissan Downtown LA and Ray!

2015 Toyota Prius v review
I got the Prius V particularly because instead of an SUV or sporty crossover I wanted a bit more of a station wagon feel (not as big as a mini van) that would be long enough to put a bunk bed single mattress in the back (It is). I love the fuel economy and the extra size. I traded in my '06 Prius for this Prius V. I've only has it about 5 hours but think I'm going to love it! I love the Blizzard Pearl. Would have also been happy with Sea Glass Pearl....

Volvo Cars of Santa MonicaReviews
Volvo Cars of Santa Monica review
Exceptional Leasing Experience at Volvo of Santa Monica I just leased a Volvo XC90 Plus, T8 Plug-in Hybrid from Volvo of Santa Monica, and as someone with over 40 years of experience leasing and buying, I am thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service I received. From the moment I inquired about the vehicle, Mr. David Afshar, the sales associate, promptly reached out with all the details about the car I was interested in. His professionalism and responsiveness made the initial steps of the process seamless and efficient. However, it was Mr. Armin Buholzer, the dealership manager, who truly elevated the experience. Armin went above and beyond to ensure I was matched with the perfect vehicle, providing expert guidance and a clear, transparent overview of my options. Not only was the car selection impeccable, but Armin also offered very aggressive pricing that was far below what I had been quoted by other dealerships, ensuring I received incredible value. Both Armin and David and the entire sales team were attentive, courteous, and focused on making the entire process as smooth and stress-free as possible. Their dedication to customer satisfaction was evident at every step. I walked away with a fantastic deal on a beautiful car, and I couldn’t be happier. If you’re looking for exceptional service and VERY competitive pricing, I highly recommend Volvo of Santa Monica, and specifically Mr. Armin Buholzer and Mr. David Afshar. They truly make car leasing an enjoyable and professional experience.

CarMax San Gabriel Valley/DuarteReviews
CarMax San Gabriel Valley/Duarte review
So i went in already knowing what i wanted. Had my appointment already made and he was there waiting for me no issues. It was kind of strange to me how he didn’t know where the vehicles were so we had to go look for it. We walked for a bit then got into another vehicle to search for the vehicle. I think the lot and vehicle locations should be better situated. The buying process was easy and smooth. When the car was purchased i was waiting for a final cleaning and check of the car. This took forever. When i finally got the car. The inside of the windows were still dirty you can see the finger prints and the rear emblem had some chemical in it that oxidized the emblem. It took them a long time to seem like nothing had been done properly. I did appreciate the person helloing me to keep checking on me and letting me know the status instead of leaving me. The clean process and check process of the car needs to be better managed. It shouldn’t take that long for a half xxx job.
2018 Audi A3 e-tron review
I live in a coastal town south of LA and my etron is like a luxurious golf cart I can drive all electric most days. When i have the occasional longer drive the etron works for that and still gets about 42mpg. I am average 85mpg across both driving types. Interior quality is excellent and very comfortable. High quality fit and finish. It's a beautiful little machine you can buy for 25K with low mileage in like new condition as of 2021. Seems like a good deal. I am concerned about battery degradation, but there is a 10 year warranty on electric components including the battery. Despite the small size, you can still fit a large santa cruz mountain bike in the back with the front wheel removed.

2015 Kia Soul review
Our 2015 2.4L Soul has been great. My wife works a split shift, so she commutes to and from work Twice a day. So it gets a lot of highway miles. We also have gone cross country a few times. Always serviced at the dealer (which is more expensive), But it kept the warranty alive. Engine needed replaced at 95K due to oil consumption, but warranty covered it. Now at 220K AC compressor died. But that is the 1st repair we have had to do. Everything else is holding up fine.

CarMax LAX review
In 2008, my folks bought a new Chrysler Pacifica Limited. The car sales man was great. He knew all about the car and showed us everything about it. The dealership it's self is beautiful and super clean. They also have AWESOME cars inside in which you can sit and mess around in. The overall rating is a 4 BECAUSE, it is so hard to get a hold of these guys to take the car in. We've called 4 or 5 times to only leave messages that have never been responded to, so we are planning on just going there whether they want us to or not!

2004 Volkswagen Passat review
2004. I am second owner. Nearing 200,000 kms. A great car. Fast, responsive and a delight to drive. Paint has held up very well. I have found VW dealerships costly for regular maintenance and servicing. Had timing belt changed at 150,000 and plan to replace the tranny fluid shortly. If the car is cared for and driven reasonably, it’s a gem.

2017 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack review
It's fun to drive, versatile with lots of storage space and has reasonably good gas mileage (36 hwy/24 city). It has an amazing turn radius. Somewhat noisy during highway driving and kind of deficient infotainment/safety features. But it's been reliable so far (100k miles). And did I mention fun to drive?

Not happy with the lack of safety features that most vehicles have as standard features. No BSM, no yellow warnings of vehicles in blind spots or warning sounds. No back up warnings. Visibility is taking time to get use to. Mirrors are too small. Visors are too small to block sunlight. Interior is cheap, storage spaces a lacking, glove box dumps stuff out when you open it. Pros:. The selling point of the vehicle is the savings in fuel economy. It is a relatively small SUV electric vehicle, with a good battery that will take you 250 miles on a full charge. I have been averaging 4.4 miles/kw. My electric rate is 10.6 cents a kw. It only costs me $6 to drive that 250 miles. That's about the price for a gallon of gasoline in some places around here. Car is fast and can pass another vehicle very quickly. Ride is comfortable and smooth. One peddle works great and I get better numbers around town. I'm estimating this little EV will save me about $2500 a year and fuel costs. I have a charger installed in my garage. The key to taking advantage of the savings of any EV is to charge at home. Charge overnight. Love this little car.

2015 Volvo V60 review
My first Volvo coming from BMW’s. It’s very affordable to fix and initial cost. It’s comfortable and heated front and rear seats and steering wheel was a real selling point. Automatic transmission shifts ok also has sport mode or manual shifting options. Gas mileage is decent. Has start stop option you can turn on or off. Back up cam is great. Visibility all around is great for being a larger vehicle. No blind spots. Love it so far!

2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek review
The Crosstrek was the most reliable car I ever had and it never failed to get me somewhere, even in deep snow and ice in very rural areas. In fact, I liked this one so much, I bought a newer model as my next car. The AWD, comfort, and ease of drive of this car is excellent,

What a wonderful experience. The transaction itself was completely flawless. STAN handled it perfectly in every way. The most impressive thing about STAN was the way handled uncontrollable things that would pop-up. Another key was how he insisted that I do a pre-purchase inspection with any mechanic to insure I was comfortable with my purchase. I did and was very satisfied with that whole process as well. When I went back to talk to Stan about some general maintenance advice, he was really helpful, and friendly, even though the dealership was really busy at the time. He didn't just overlook me, because our deal was closed. We are looking to purchase two more vehicles within the next few months, and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Honest, great pricing, and extremely helpful. What else can you ask for?

The telephone call was pleasant. The sales person was cordial, and informative. Our problem was she is on the West coast, and I am on the East coast! It's, as you might expect, difficult to buy something sight unseen.

I enjoyed working with Brian. He was prompt with follow-through. He was thorough and honest. I found an older Audi roadster somewhere else at a better price. I didn't use financing; i just paid cash. I am keeping my eye on the Audi roadster at CIT. Would go back to CIT.

2017 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack review
I drove a Golf TSI for years and absolutely loved it. Never wanted drive a different car as long as Iived. Then I had a kid(which is is tight with a golf) and someone pulled out in front of me and it got totalled. I took the money and upgraded to the Alltrack because its basically the same car with more room and AWD. Absolutely love it! Gas mileage is significantly lower than my Golf, but it still has some zip. The DSG transmission is like butter. Ill drive this car into the ground.
