2018 Subaru Outback review
I bought my outback new in March 2018. After putting about 85,000 miles on it the only thing I had ever replaced for windshield tires and battery. The battery seems to go out most often every 30,000 miles or two years at about 85,000 miles we had an oil pan leak that was small but we had it repaired since it was covered under extended warranty. I’ve also had water leak into the drivers door, electronics and shorted out my driver‘s window. The Travers side seat bolster of leather, has also ripped and torn quite badly. However, I have not done a very good job at keeping it up overall it’s been a very good vehicle. Written April 5th 2026.

2016 Nissan Rogue review
I bought my 2016 Rogue SL in 2019 with 32,000 miles on it. It is now 2025 and it has 223,000 miles on it, and I still drive her daily with no issues. I have had to replace the car battery once and the fob battery twice. I also had to replace the front wheel bearings about 2 years ago. That is it! No check engine lights no engine or transmission issues, no sun roof leaks. Everything she started with still functions as well as the day i got her. This has been the best, most reliable incredible car i could have every asked for. I can not speak highly enough of the Rogue and am currently looking at getting another one and saving what is left of this one for my daughter.

Lou was my salesperson and he was super communicative, explaining and re-explaining when he seemed to feel it was needed. No surprises along the way, I was able to test drive the van as much or as long as I wanted, have a mechanic come by to inspect it and they washed it and added a full tank of gas on pickup day. They had done some quality servicing to the vehicle as well before pickup day. Lou mentioned early on that he wasn't paid on a commission basis, which was a good detail for me to know. In the end, all the numbers were the same from the beginning to end, no "uh oh" moments and it was a super fast experience on pickup day - probably the fastest ever for me to get the keys and drive a new (to me) vehicle home. I will look to use them again if possible in the next year or so. Highly recommend.

2019 MINI Clubman review
I LOVED my Mini Convertible but when the lease was up I decided to get something a little bigger to better fit my golf clubs AND my granddaughter and her stuff. When my lease expired I looked at lots of makes and models not knowing what I wanted... I came back to Mini Cooper and I love the huge panorama roof on the Clubman. There is enough room for my golf clubs to fit in the very back and I still have room for passengers. I love the zip of the turbo engine when I have it in Sport mode. The interior finishes are more upscale than other cars I looked at and the Infotainment system is very clear and easy to use. I got a really good price on a 2019 with very low miles. I feel like I got a good deal. It feels more sophisticated than my Mini Convertible. The Bose music system is great. I haven’t missed my convertible yet...I’m excited to drive it!

Even after I made the purchase, they completely serviced the car with a new timing belt, brake pads and oil change. Although I did not end up buying a vehicle from Shelby Motor Cars, they have a fairly wide selection of cars with high mileage which was what I was looking for. When you put money down on a vehicle, make sure it is very clear what is to be fixed on the Buyer's Order and ensure everything was done before accepting delivery. My salesman was Peter, he did not return one phone call and my interest started slipping then. I spoke to another salesman, Mo(?), who told me dealer policy is money cannot be EFT'd into dealership's account, so I'd had enough and that killed the deal right there. There seem to be many phone numbers associated with the dealership which is great, but they ALL go unanswered, so what's the point? Again, the cars are what's important, and the vehicles they carry are as good as can be expected with the mileage. If you're on a budget, this appears to be a decent place to go. Apparently you must be willing to be persistent, which I was not.
