    I found the car online & called the dealership to inquire about it.I spoke to several reps & upon calling back I spoke directly to Miranda who was their finance specialist. To my amazement she was extremely knowledgeable about this particular car.We even came to cash terms via phone.The kicker is she actually took the time to come pick me up from my home(10 miles from the dealership) & brought me back to the dealership. I was introduced to all management & the entire staff appeared to be positive and enjoying their jobs.Miranda took care of all the paperwork & then had them clean the car up for me.It is truly different shopping at a family owned business as they realize the importance of great customer service & that there are multiple other dealers I could have purchased from. This was truly an easy transaction & I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a most pleasant shopping experience!

    I was visiting from Ohio and made a sudden decision to trade in my SUV for a new car (it might have had something to do with a broken air conditioner and temps in the upper 90's in Wilmington, NC). Eric at Rippy treated me like an old friend. He found me an all wheel drive vehicle, (imperative for northern Ohio winters) and brought it in within a day from a location 5 hours away. I truly appreciated the time he took to explain the OnStar system and the more unique features of the SRX, since most were new to me. He also took charge of all the paperwork regarding insurance and Ohio BMV fees for me, which saved me a lot of time and aggravation. My next car will come from Rippy, even if I have to make a special trip back to Wilmington to buy it.

    Had a simple service experience back with this dealership in 2011, yep I still remember it. One of my HID bulbs was going out on my Cadillac CTS, called around my local area here and it was getting quoted at $150-$300, crazy! For one headlight... Had to go on a business trip to Wilmington and I remembered Rippy from when I lived in the area. Don't remember the salesperson's name, but I explained my issue, he took me over to the service area, $50 will have it taken care of! Technically $150, I already owned the headlight myself, but the other places were charging me that, even though I had the headlight already. Waiting area was really nice, but I decided to walk the car lot, wasn't in hunt for a new car, just wanted to kill time. It was raining that day a little bit, as I walked the lot, the salesman came out with an umbrella to hold over me as I walked the lot, he didn't pressure me at all on buying a car or talk my ear off, "can't have a customer walking around here getting wet, that's bad business", that was extremely nice of him to do that. Car service was completed in a timely manner and they took care of my inspection, cause didn't realize I was due. Good job that day!
