My journey started online where I located 5 used cars that met my criteria. I had 3 horrible, 1 OK experience before deciding to call Cold Brook Saab.... Remember, I'm from Pennsylvania and CBS is in Maine. I called and sent an email inquiring about the used 2008 Saab on the lot. Joey took my call and told me everything he knew about the car. Everything. After two days of asking questions, I asked Joey if I would be wasting my time taking a trip to Maine from Pennsylvania to buy the car. Joey assured me that I would like the car. No pressure, just an honest opinion based upon my inquiry. So I hopped on a plane and committed to my pursuit of the car. Everyone thought I was crazy for this, but it’s what I wanted. And to make this story eben better, Joey changes his vacation plans to pick me up at the airport! I leave the house at 5:00 AM for Philadelpia Airport. Take a flight to Boston and then to the little airport in Augusta, Maine. And there he is Joey. Joey and his wife picked me up. The side story to this is Joey and his wife decided to pick me up before they took off for a long weekend in Canada. Is that concierge service or what! We had a great conversation on the ride to the dealership. I couldn’t wait to see the Saab Turbo X. I finally get to see the car. Joey was spot on. It’s exactly what I was looking for in the Turbo X. I took a test drive and felt good about taking the next step to purchase. We did the paper work I was on my way back to Pennsylvania… a 9 hour drive in my Saab Turbo X. Joey’s “no pressure” assurance is what sold me on taking the trip and working with him to purchase the car. Thanks Joey for all you assistance in this purchase! (I don’t think I will make the 9 hour trip for service, but I would if I lived in Maine.)
The folks there contacted me shortly after telling them about my interest in a Saab. They were polite and answered all my questions about the car.
It was my first time in this dealership. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to conduct business. The sales people are friendly and make you... feel more like a neighbor and are not pushy at all! The sales gal that helped me was knowledgeable and made it easy to choose the best method for my purchase. There is certainly something to be said for the "home town" approach...not sure I have seen any other dealership that handles people like Cold Brook does. A+++++ to all at this dealer and I would highly recommend a stop for any of ones needs for a new or used car.

I have used Cold Brook several times. I re located from West Palm Beach Florida to the Bangor area. The drive to them was well worth it! I found them to... be honest, upfront and very accurate. I have used Cold Brook Saab for about 20 years and 5 car purchases. Their service is second to none, they actually pick my car up for any service I need.... The sales dept is honest, I get straight answers and fair pricing. In fact I shopped around last time and found Cold Brook Saab to be the best price anywhere by almost $2000. I can't recommend them high enough.
The service Department was our initial contact over the last several years. They couldn't have been more professional, more courteous or more caring. Marty... has been our contact and has always made sure that we were taken care of in a timely manner. Also, there were no surprises at the end of the service, ie his estimate was always on the money. So, when it came time to purchase a new Saab the excellent service was a major determining factor, the excellent deal and a caring, non-pressure sales person was the deal maker.
