Mitsubishi this was your heritage...take notes
I got this car as a hand me down in 1998. My first one was a Amazon blue 1.8 automatic. I always wanted a GST version and had toyed with the idea of doing a motor swap. I eventually moved onto a new 2003 eclipse and bought a 98 GST as a project and built that. I amassed quite the car collection over the years and here we are 2021 and everything now seems void of personality. I started searching for another eclipse a few years back and started to really miss how fun my 94 was and now that they are junkyard bound or in hiding I knew I wanted to go back to square one. I just bought a black 94 2.0 with a 5 speed GS package. The car does have issues but it's now 26 years old. I'm overjoyed driving and working on this car. Eclipses do have quirks and properly taken care of they are reliable cars. This car genuinely makes me sad that this Era of cars is gone. If this car is on your radar I've owned the first three gens of eclipses. I enjoyed them very much. Definitely cars I've developed a soft spot for. Enjoy the throwback hope you enjoy as much as I currently do.

fun car to drive, decent gas mileage and good handling. I owned a '94 GS 2.0 5-spd for 2 years. just had one problem with timing belt. ultimately could not get emissions to pass and traded for a 2 year old 2001 jetta.
