Sport looking body-style
First of all the body-style is underrated , it's a real sport hatchback . Second it's really lightweight and whatever you drive , from 1.4 to TDI and VR6 , the mk3 will not disappoint you with it's snappy character . Maybe the only thing which disappoint with the body of mk3 is that become rusty if you not take care of them.
Not the greatest
This car now that its older is having its troubles with the exterior body. door henge broken. locks are not working on trunk. but as the engine goes its still running great. just minor corks with oil and the anti-freeze
Best car in Winter Conditions
The car started right up in -20F weather, and manuvered its way through the snow while others were spinning and sliding. The heat warms up in 2 minutes and it handles well in slippery and snowy conditions. It's good on gas, I average 25mpg in the city and on long road trips around 34mpg. I love the bucket seats and the versatility of this small hatchback. The 5 speed stick shifts with percession and accuracy, and it has that mechanical feeling that's missing in Japanese and American cars.
