2008 Audi R8 review
Which car is quite underpriced, gets to 60mph in 4.1 seconds, handles very well, and is quite luxurious? The Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG! But that's $200,000. There's something else I was thinking of that's cut price, and even cooler looking, and less show-offy. The Audi R8! Power might be limited for a very-high-performance / almost exotic two-door, but Audi's flagship sports car's competitors are at least $60,000 more. These include the Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG, Mercedes-Benz CL63 AMG, Lamborghini Gallardo, and Ferrari F430. Let's get specific. (2009 prices) The R8 is $114,000. The SL65 AMG is $200,000. The CL63 AMG is $192,000. The Lamborghini Gallardo is $177,000. And yes, the Mercedes SL63 AMG is way less expensive than the SL65, though it's still pricier than the R8, and it gets to 60mph in 4.5, compared to the R8's 4.1. The car is very luxurious, with standard features including a voice-activated navigation system, heated and cooled leather steering wheel with radio, climate, and navigation system controls, remote start, seat and foot massage, and so much more. The Corvette ZR1 might be $6,000 less and get to 60mph in 0.7 seconds faster, but it's not nearly as nice as the R8. Looking performance, luxury, safety, and pricewise, you will not find a better sports car for $114,000.

2010 Audi R8 review
Don't listen to the GTR lover review, he hasn't a clue, just can't afford the R8 so settles for a GTR. My ecu was flashed with the v10 plus tune, will smoke almost anything out there, (including GTR's and Ferrari's) haven't lost a race yet and is a wonderful daily driver.

My Porsche journey began early Feb 2026 with a call to Porsche Sewickley to inquire about a car that was being advertised on CarGurus. Without delay, I was connected to one of the Sales Professionals, Mr. Bob McLaughlin. Out the gate, he was consistently professional, responsive, and thorough in addressing all of my questions and concerns. A few wks later, I made the 4-hr drive from the DMV area to Sewickley to see the car. After the test drive, I knew it had to be mine, but needed time to make an informed decision. He never applied pressure during this process and was incredibly respectful, as he understood that purchasing a Porsche would be a significant investment for me. He and I did the dance for a couple of wks until I decided to secure the car. Every step of the process was smooth and painless. Bob connected me to his team?s Finance Manager, Mr. James Lumbantoruan, who was knowledgeable and guided me on all things finance-related. I also enjoyed chatting with him about Beyonc�. When I returned back to Sewickley to make the purchase, I was welcomed at the airport by their friendly and knowledgeable driver, the ?other Bob.? I cannot tell you how exceptional my experience was from first contact. Everyone that I encountered, to include the Sales Manager, Mr. Dwight Woodside and another Sales Professional, Mr. Stephen Overby all created a personalized small business vibe. 2010 Audi R8 review
I have the V10 R8 coupe in silver. This is an excellent sports car and is true value for the money. The handling is superb as are the brakes and the overall balance of the car is confidence inspiring. I have have had other well known sports cars (the usual suspects) and most are high maintenance nightmares. The R8 is a highly engineered car best suited to be driven by drivers who know how to drive fast and who know how to get the most out of the machinery. If you want a high performance and not too common on the road sports car, get this. I have no regrets - I love mine.
