2017 BMW X1 review
This is an update from my February 1, 2019 review. I have now owned the vehicle for nearly seven years. I’ve personally driven nearly 20,000 miles in it. The vehicle now has nearly 50,000 miles on the odometer. I purchased it certified pre-owned from a BMW dealership. I have maintained the vehicle to manufacturer specifications. I have only paid for routine maintenance. I have paid for zero repairs. My previous review is confirmed. Full disclosure, two repairs were covered under warranty by the BMW dealership when I purchased the vehicle and one other repair was performed by a different BMW dealership due to their mistake during a routine service.

2015 BMW M4 review
Had the car for 79000 miles. Only issues were the fuel pump at 56k. The valve cover at 50k. If you live in a hit climate get tint if not the interior literally will melt I had so much usable power I had to go to traffic school to back off of it. Was like crack addict type power untill third ticket . Very reliable car mine even had the original battery from 2015 that just was as new in 2025. Great car overall

2024 BMW X5 review

My sales person, the Sales Manager and the General manager and staff were great. However, the finance person Trevor was horrible and was only trying to put money in his pocket and treated me like a paycheck not a valued customer. What we agreed to is not what he put down on the sales sheet. Now that I look back, I should have gotten up and left. The Sales Manager & General Manger fixed things to my satisfaction, but it should have never come to that.
2023 BMW X3 review
Love it. Car is comfy, quick and the wonderful B58 Twin-Scroll Turbo I6 makes all the right noises! Awesome daily driver. Period! Interior has all of the amenities you could ever ask for. Ride is luxury-oriented but also can grip & RIP through the corners, almost as well as any sports sedan out there pretty much.

2015 BMW X5 review
I’ve owned two 2015 X5D’s - daily driven for 7 years for a combined 173,000 miles (sales job), I averaged 29MPG on each tank in mixed driving (38+mpg on hwy using renewable diesel in CA), and it’s been so much more reliable than any gas car I’ve owned… The only car that compares in reliability is two BMW 328 diesels I’ve owned - I’m not going back to gas cars. I may consider Cayenne diesel as the only other alternative daily driver, otherwise I’ll stay with X5 diesels.

2023 BMW M850 review
I have driven many BMW’s but this one surpasses them. Not only does it have an amazing look but the feel and sound of a V8 is no comparison. I can leave it in comfort mode and relax or put in Sport and everything changes. I hope BMW leaves this one alone along with the M5 and not make into the electric garbage with these horrible grills.

2023 BMW i4 Gran Coupe review
My i4 eDrive 40 is a great car. Plenty of pep. Comfortable interior. Quality construction. GPS/Radio Controls/various interfaces ... not so good. You have to know what you are looking for, and ofter, go down too many levels to get to the proper input/output. More switches and dials would be better.

2019 BMW X7 review
This BMW is the most luxurious car for a full sized SUV. BMW has really beaten the competition with the X7. The car drives so smooth but you don’t feel like it’s a very large suv. Rarely take time to write social media reviews. However experience I had at the dealership this week is worth a review. I was not needing a car, but always keeping an eye out for the right deal. On Tuesday of last week I had called in the morning to ask for a sales rep I had purchased from before. What could have been a honest mistake, I was put into voicemail. Not hearing back all day, I decided to call one more time as I was ready to pull the trigger on a near identical vehicle much closer to my house. This is when I sales person "Nick B" answered the phone. He informed me it was an honest mistake that I was put to voicemail of a former sales rep and that he would be happy to help. Having held management positions, and worked for good people in my career, I have to say, the energy and hustle was top notch. I explained the situation at the competing dealership and Nick cut through all the garbage negotiation and sales tactics that the other dealer tried to use on me (not knowing my background). In a matter of 60 minutes I had 3 phone calls from Nick setting the parameters of the deal. The next morning I was greeted by a text to ask if I was coming in at lunch or dinner. The weather was terrible for a drive to Dayton, and I was so tempted to just spend a little more money and head closer to make my purchase. I could not do it. Nick's hustle deserved a visit to look at the car. I arrived around dinner time and Nick was waiting at the door to greet me. The car was pulled up and we were ready to deal. Nick was efficient in execution as he was in setting up the deal. From getting payoffs, to coordinating the shop to ready the vehicle, to working with finance and matching the trade of the other dealer. I had other sales people that you would sit in the dealer for multiple hours waiting to get through. Some of this compliment also goes to Matt S. in Finance. Copies, signatures, even took the time to get me a refund for my trade in Lexus Warranty that I was not going to use. Customer was first with both of these gentlemen, not at the expense of the Company, but to be seamless and professional. The last part of the evening came when I was signing the paperwork. Matt told me that the detail team was not able to finish my car at the late hour, but would be happy to do so over the weekend if I wanted to come back. As I was saying I just wanted the plastic off the floor and the mats in, Nick came in the office and said he already had it done while transferring my plates. Nick also did not forget another small detail I had emphasized to him at the outset. I travel a lot and have a laptop in my car. It is imperative that I have a privacy shield cover over the cargo area. To end my experience, Nick did not forget that request. Lexus no longer sells them in parts, something I noticed even with the GX back in 2020. So Nick had me drive into the garage out of the rain, helped me move my belongings to the new car, then took me up to the "lost and found". Again, not additional expense to the company, but more time for him. Nick at the late hour was going through every privacy cover with a measuring tape to get me squared away. We ended up not finding one, but how could I be disappointed with that effort. To anyone buying a car, I cannot guarantee your sales person will give the same experience, but there is no question that Nick was a professional and will have me back for my next car which is due in about another year. In a still tight labor market, it is tough to find employees like that.
2023 BMW iX review
Only 2000 miles of which 500 is highway. First positive impressions are: extraordinary quiet, impressive acceleration, above average ride and comfort. Great front and side vision. Very comfortable seats. Lots of interior room. Negatives are: incredibly complex systems to do simple things, exterior styling is an "acquired taste", rear vision is marginal. Odd door handles inside and outside. It is still too early to make a definitive assessment of this vehicle. Other than an intermittent annoying creak in the passenger window area that is hard to replicate at the dealership, the build quality seems very good. This is not a big Lexus or Mercedes sedan, but rather a very good SAV. Range is 300+ with the 21" wheels. Charging is easy and relatively fast with a good DC charger. True 11KwH on 48 amp home charger. Driver assistance package works well. Steering is a little light but no issues with the shape of the wheel. There will be some adjustment to this type of vehicle, but it has been easier than I anticipated. Registering it as an EV, leased out of state, was a frustrating experience and the extra fees for EV licensing are ridiculous.

2021 BMW 530 review
Purchased a 2021 cert pre-owned from dealer w/ 26k miles. 530i xdrive, car handles like a true Beamer, so tight and feels great driving. A little disappointed the entire 5-series class isn't 6 cylinder however the 4 turbo feels like one anyways, only with improved gas mileage, so not really a compliant just a preference. The dealer recommended using premium fuel, and I use it maybe once a month to keep the engine running smooth and also 10k in between oil changes. Pretty nice! Would absolutely purchase again. Next major service at 80k as well.
