2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee review
I've owned this for 6+ years. Only 18,300 miles. So, not what I expected when I bought it. I anticipated driving to many hot air balloon events across the country. But, then COVID and work from home. Now retired. No need to drive a lot. I've ensured that all maintenance is done as needed (maybe more often than needed). Other than a minor parking lot ding (not even a note apologizing), it's pristine. Side note: my dealership really wants this as a trade-in. But, I'm not seeing the advantage.

2025 Toyota Camry review
I absolutely love my 2025 Heavy Metal Camry SE! It had 15,000 miles on it when I got it. It has a very stylish exterior and interior. Mine has the sunroof, heated seats, heated steering wheel, etc. The upgrades are awesome! Ride quality is so smooth. Changes from the electric motor to the gas motor are hardly noticeable. Very quiet interior that keeps a lot of road noise out. Very easy to use touchscreen display. Has enough power for driving on the highway. If a person wants more power you can put it in sport mode. You’ll just get lower mpg’s. Now depending on how you drive it the mpg’s on this car are amazing! My average is about 46 mpg right now. I’ve gotten as high as 53.7 mpg. It’s so much fun trying to beat your best mpg per trip. Toyota did an amazing job building this car!

2024 Toyota Camry review
I have been a Toyota owner for 20+ years and have been pleased with the "past" quality, reliability and performance. I purchased a 2024 Camry SE about 2 months ago and I have noticed the quality has definitely declined in the newer years lots of cheap plastic and carpet is really cheap. The under carriage plastic splash guards are a total joke! I had to remove the cheap plastic guards because they were loaded with about 10 lbs. of road gravel and dirt "not" an easy job to do to remove all the plastic clips. other than that no complaints on the performance so far. The Camry gets pretty good gas mileage for a 2.5 litre 4 cylinder sedan.

2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited review
It’s currently summer 2025, I’ve owned my 2020 Wrangler Sahara since spring 2021. I LOVE my jeep and have had ZERO issues with it. This is my 2 nd Wrangler, first one was 2915 New. No issues with it at either. Mine is a 4 cl turbo. I didn’t want that I wanted a 6 cl. My husband convinced me to buy it and I’m glad I did. I have 59,000. Miles currently and I haven’t had to replace anything besides general maintenance.

2024 Honda Accord review
Got this car as part of a trade with my 2013 Chevy Malibu. It's not a bad car did have a few issues with the spark plugs that came out of nowhere. And they had to be replaced along with a few other issues but outside of that it's been a pretty reliable car that has gotten me from point a to point b. Everything works well the Bluetooth has worked wonders along with the seats being comfortable and it drives smooth.

2020 INFINITI QX60 review
I bought my 2020 QX60 June 2023 with 12K miles on it. Wanted something a comfortable ride and plenty of seating since I now have custody of my two grandchildren. This vehicle has been great with no repair issues at all. Gives the kids plenty of room in the back seat. Love the leg room up front along with the heated seats. Would highly recommend

My experience started from my first call with Sabrina. I called to ask hours for the next day, a holiday. She gave me them but added they were open now, 3, till 5. She can have the cars I was interested in ready for test drive and the sales person, Sevi, ready at the door. So I got up off the couch and went to dealership. Everything as she said. Took me on drives with different cars with Sevi and by 4:50 made a deal. Trade was good. I did have high mileage on my trade, so I can’t complain. Made a decision on a low mileage CRV EX. Red! Then the finance paperwork! Ugh! Felt like a house closing. But they are thorough! Very good experience! Would highly recommend Mariano Rivera Honda!
2023 Honda Accord review
Good car good buying process just wobbles a little at around 70-80 mph while on highway. Might just be a small alignment with only my car may not be a consistent problem.

2021 Honda Accord review
I traded in my 22 Accord with the 1.5T and CVT transmission. My 2021 has the 2.0T and 10 speed automatic. It’s a great car for the money, dollar for dollar, you cannot beat it! Fully Loaded, very strong motor and tranny, rides beautiful, handles everything beautifully!

Novak Motors, still a hidden gem but…. Things have changed. My first time buying a car at Novak was an unexpected pleasure. Found them online claiming a no-hassle pricing policy. So, I went in and met with a sales associate named Laura. Told her I was looking for a Santa Fe. She said ‘we have eight of them. I found one I liked and we sat down with the car fax. I asked what they could do on the price and she said ‘nothing, that’s the price’. Well, I had already done my homework. Their cars seemed to be priced all at the lower end of the Kelley Blue Book range. Fair enough I thought. I asked if I could have my mechanic look at the car and she said ‘sure and if you find anything wrong, since the car was still under warranty, it would be taken to the dealer and fixed prior to the purchase’. With that said and done I came in to buy the car a few days later. Ok, here comes Amy the finance person. I’m ready for all the usual stuff that you deal with at the dealership. But no, just a little paperwork and Amy had me out the door in about 30 minutes. So now let’s jump ahead about 5 years. Is Novak still a place to buy your car? Yes, but there are changes. Namely a man named Mike who is the sales manager. Now when I talked to a sales person they have to go to Mike. Then Mike comes to me. He’s a big guy and he’s playing that sales manager role we have all seen at dealerships. I asked him if he could do better on the price testing the waters. ‘I can come down $500’ he told me (so much for no haggle). Now I’ve already done my homework and Mike is being deceiving. The prices online were $500 lower than the sticker on the car. When I asked him about that he said ‘that they haven’t updated the stickers yet’. That was another lie. I had been in the showroom on and off for over a week and been looking at their website regularly. He also negotiated several times on what they would give me for my trade in. Telling me he was going to lose money when he sells it at auction. At the price he paid me he probably will. I’m sure in his mind he can offset the loss to corporate by claiming his sales numbers. I hope corporate isn’t that blind to his games. Now jumping ahead, I decided to buy the car and gave a deposit three days prior to month-end. Afterwards, Mike says to me that we need to close the deal by Saturday (last day of the month). I said ‘no problem assuming my credit union processes my loan, if not we can do it Monday’. With that he gave me attitude. I said Mike ‘I’ll do my best but either way I have given you a deposit and we have a signed binder’. His reply was ‘I don’t have to honor it and can pull out of the deal’. My response was ‘really Mike? What kind of dealership high pressure garbage you pulling here?’ So here are the main changes at Novak: Mike Mike Mike Seems whoever brought in Mike has made a mistake. Mike has a past history of working at car dealership such as Ford from what he told me and has brought that atmosphere into Novak. Simply put, he’s a bully and likes to throw his obvious weight around. He walks and talks the stuff that we’ve all have experienced at car dealerships. Prices of the cars are now about $1000 higher. Obviously, giving Mike room to drop the prices which clearly violates their no haggle policy. He purposely prices the stickers higher than the website and then claims he hasn’t updated his floor stock yet. Bottom line, would I go back to Novak again? Yes, I would. The cars Novak sells are clean, single-owner lease returns. Out of hundreds of lease returns, Fusion gets to selectively choose which ones to sell thru Novak. They are still under the manufacturer’s warranty. They are still within KBB but as I said because of Mike they are higher and you have to negotiate some. One of the main reasons I would still choose Novak for my next car is because of the finance staff of Amy and Frank. I hope Novak’s corporate office wakes up and gets rid of the dead weight that’s bringing them down, Mike.
2023 Kia Sorento review
My Sorrento has nice styling...is comfortable..get good gas mileage which in this Era is important...love how it is equipped with navigation, heated seats,fold down third seats. This size is perfect for my wife and I and extra room for picking up guests at the airport or bringing groceries home. I would have liked a little more power for getting up to speed in traffic and getting on the highway. All in all I'm very happy with this SUV

2024 Nissan Altima review
Great mileage and very nice interior. Lotsa stuff but sadly only drivers window is auto. Wheels are terrible. They look great but very hard to clean. Good trunk space and nice seats. Having problems with backup camera it looks very foggy. Had it back to dealer twice, no luck. No CD player.. big downgrade.

2022 Volkswagen Tiguan review
I have owned this 2023 Tiguan SEL R line for almost a year. I have been absolutely satisfied with the quality, the ride, the fuel mileage and everything else about it. IMO it’s the best bang for the buck on the market. It is loaded with options and is still very affordable. I love this VW and , of course, I highly recommend it.

2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee review
I've been driving for 43 years now and have owned an array of different vehicles, however I've never been financially fortunate to purchase a luxury model - until now! I was looking for a mid size vehicle that would check many boxes for my snowy Michigan commutes, along with distant travel comfort to and from my cabin and some towing capacity. I have only had this for roughly 1500 miles and wow.. My first impression was luxury. So many base options included in a mid sized and mid priced SUV that pleasantly surprised me. Secondly was the ride quality. Both smooth and quiet and handling. I've read other reviews discussing power inadequacy, but not at all. Plenty of passing and get tup to speed power. Next was the snow. I have Michelin defender tires and wow - what have I been missing? The snow 4x4 duaratac features combined with these tires make this a beast in the snow, slush and rain. It definitely gives me a much more safety reassurance while driving in these conditions. I have not tried the towing yet and have not had any "reliable" issues to report, but we are very fortunate with our pick and one very capable snow commuter.

2025 Mazda CX-5 review
I bought a new 2025 Mazda CX-5 Signature before they were gone and no longer available because I really like that this car though not perfect and to some people kind of dated in design and execution but to me is full of good elements that future cars including the 2026 CX-5 will lack. Exterior styling that does not get old quickly and still looks good without being too flashy. A great interior that looks and feels premium with quality soft touch materials throughout. An engine ( Turbo ) and transmission (Not a CVT!!!) combo that makes driving a pleasure. The way the suspension is setup is another thing about this car that makes me want to go for a ride any chance I get. The meaty steering feel , not over assisted and numb. This is a compact SUV that shouldn't feel this enjoyable to drive but it does. You sit a bit higher and taller in the saddle and have a good view ahead and around you with the nice large mirrors and 360 cameras . When my wife is riding next me enjoys the view. The wind shield is not too big and far away and steeply raked which is easier to clean inside and doesn't heat the interior up. The controls some might call old fashioned or retro but as far as I am concerned you just cannot improve on dedicated knobs and buttons for hvac and interor functions and the well placed controls on the steering wheel, drivers door and center consol ( The large control dial and volume knob are perfect!). And who doesn't love a good old shifter with a nice looking leatherette boot at the bottom of it retro but in a good way! Yes ok the the gauge cluster isn't over the top with flashy effects and the infotanment setup and screen size are dated but for me that's a good thing. I don't need too much tech or too much screen, this is more than enough for me, Call me an old fashioned nerd but I prefer books to screens anyday! The Bose stereo sounds good but isn't mind blowing just a good step up from the base unit. This feels like a very well sorted out and put together vehicle. You get in it and drive. No fiddling fumbling and adjusting this and that . You get in adjust your seat and mirrors and go. The pure enjoyment of just how well this car behaves in my hands makes me enjoy driving it. It feels tight and solid with a firm ride that tames rough roads well without being too floaty or harsh and punishing. I think it's a very good balance that rewards the drivers with good driving dynamics and fun. The brakes are solid, competant and feel right from the get go and take no getting used to. The turbo engine is really torquey and doesn't need to be over rev'd to get it to pull. It has a nice sound without sounding silly. Gas milage is not the best but I figured that to be and accept it. The tranny works well with engine. It is smooth and does what a good transmission should do almost invisably with no clunkiness or gear hunting. The CX-5 interior is nice comfortable ( and dare I say somewhat elegant and classy ) the dark Caturra brown nappa leather seats with contrasting stitching and perferations for heating front and back and cooling in the front look beautiful and myself and my passengers find very comfortable. The rest of the interior is mostly black with real wood trim ( Who does that anymore) The interior is quiet with no sqeeks rattles or road noise (so far)! Rear seat room is enough far the average sized person. And the trunk space considering the vehicle size is fine. All cars cost way too much now but what you get for the money I really think when compared to other compact SUV's is a good value and the quality fit and finish (Made in Japan!) doesn"t feel cheap. I only gave the reliability rating 3 stars because this would be better answered in say 5 years. 2019 BMW X3 review

Got the XT5 Sport from Paul Conte Cadillac in Freeport, great dealership & great car. has nice power and handles well. reminds me of GMC Acadia Denali I used to have. drove the loaner 26 model for a couple of days, and it has much better electronics + heads up display.

2023 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid review
I had a 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 (that I absolutely loved), but the lease was ending. Since that purchase, I have had two grandchildren, and though I could take them with me in the Ioniq, it was a tight squeeze (again, it was a GREAT car). I decided I needed something with more seating, which meant a three row SUV or a minivan. I was used to an all electric vehicle and wanted to get something that was at least hybrid. I honestly thought my days of a minivan were way behind me when my children got older so I was kind of dreading that option. The truth is I couldn't be happier. The mileage has been fantastic - I've been averaging about 50 mpg. Because the van is a plug-in hybrid, I drive a lot of local miles on all electric which helps immensely with the mileage. There is plenty of room for my kids (and their kids). Lots of places to plug in all of their devices. My wife's aunt told me that the back seats were incredibly comfortable as well. The only thing I wish it had were a few more amenities - but that is entirely my fault. I bought it used and picked up the first decently priced one I found. I should have waited a bit for one that was a bit more loaded, but again, that's on my, not the vehicle. The ride is incredibly smooth and the power is just fine for a minivan - obviously not what I was used to with the EV, but then I don't expect that. I'm enjoying driving in comfort and getting in and out is much more comfortable on my old back!

2018 Lincoln Continental review
I have not owned a domestic car since 1986. I've owned mostly Mercedes and Jaguars for the past 35 years. The Continental compares very favorably to the Jaguar XJ-L and Mercedes Benz E-Class. I needed a 4-door sedan that could be serviced near my home which left mostly domestic (GM / Ford / Chrysler) brands to choose from. I relocated to an area about 85 miles outside a major metropolitan area and didn't enjoy the 1.5 hour drive to and from my servicing dealers (Mercedes and Jaguar) after a decade of doing so. I'm not a fan of Chrysler styling so I test drove a Cadillac and the Lincoln Continental. After comparing both cars, In 2022 we chose a 2018 Lincoln Certified PreOwned Continental Reserve AWD with the 2.7 twin-turbo under 20K miles. This car was a special-order with most every available option offered. The build quality is on par with Cadillac, Jaguar and other makes that I've owned. Comparing the Infotainment/technology to both Mercedes and Jaguar, the Lincoln tech is so much easier to set up, navigate and use. Engine response and performance is excellent! Interior leather and trim is top-notch with the 72-thousand position front seats, revel sound system, back seat package, technology package and other features. I absolutely love the exterior styling of the car...it looks expensive and feels expensive. The original msrp of my car was just under $70,000 when new...so perhaps it simply was expensive!
