Switched from a BMW 5 Series to the Cadillac XTS. It is far superior than the BMW and Jaguar XJ previously owned. Both of those foreign extractions were money pits. I purchased the X with 66,000 miles on it and have not experienced the failures other reviewers have lamented so I question the authenticity of their review. The XTS is, in my opinion, one of the most alluring cars on the road today, 2023. It has great presence and commands attention. By far the best car I have ever owned and its reliability has not disappointed. The Platinum trim interior is exquisite. It did, afterall, win Ward's 10 Best (automotive) Interiors of 2013. Definitely a keeper. Get one.

Got a 2013 about a month ago with 60K in nearly perfect condition. I have spent some time and money fixing little things - these cars are complicated and loaded with delicate technology. The CUE radio has been replaced, as has the electronic dash - which are both a very nice feature but are known to fail. It drives beautifully, has tons of room, is a fantastic value proposition, and looks very nice. The overall finish is very high and of very good quality on these cars. The owners complaining here are the ones that drive them hard and the only attention the car gets is when they drop it off to the dealer for something and then agree to fix things. Plan to spend a lot of money keeping one going if this is you. If you can do most things yourself, and keep it properly looked after, it's typical of any common luxury car. They ALL have their quirks. If you really wanted a toyota or a honda economy car then this isn't the car for you - go buy one of those, you'll hate owning one of these. Me? I just love it! Next costly maintenance is the magneride suspension - it does wear out, and typical engine cleaning - valves, injectors, plugs, etc. All fluids are new, brakes are new, tires are new. Everything is expensive for these cars.

Positive: Overall good car. I love the design and interior quality. Huge trunk. 10 years later still looks modern and attractive. Negative: Seats are very hard. Different from previous models. Cue system not very practical. I would prefer knobs and buttons. Glove box is unnecessarily complicated. Source of problem.

I bought a 2013 Cadillac XTS premium all-wheel drive with the V6. I paid $15,000 for it in 2019 and I have no regrets. The car has great performance Cadillac luxury and comfort. The amenities at technology is great although I am going to end up replacing the Cadillac cue system the heads up display in the digital instrumentation is awesome. Trunk space is adequate not as big as some of the bigger Cadillacs but it's plenty big for me.

I made an appointment to take my car in for its scheduled inspection/service. From the time I got there until I left was only half an hour! How great is that? I bought the car at this dealership and have been taking it back for service. I couldn’t be happier with the care that has been given my car. The entire staff is friendly and everything is explained clearly… from the purchase to the warranty. I Purchased mine 4 years ago used with 42k on it and as a 1 owner. The reviews you read about reliability are true. A warranty is an absolute must have. My warranty has paid out more than 28K. Including Magnetic shocks, transmission, Cue info system, and much more. Only 3K from my pocket. I have been repair free for over a year. Having owned over 30 cars I will say it is a fun car to drive and is my favorite car I have ever owned with a warranty.
