My wife and I were in the market to purchase my son a pre-owned jeep, and we wanted something that was already fixed up so we found TCD. They had a great selection to choose from. Once we arrived at the dealership you could tell that this was going to be different than any other car buying experience we've had. Jack was first to introduce himself. He was not a fast-talking silver tongue devil like a "like i probably was" stereotypical car salesman that you might be used to. He was a quiet young man that spoke at the right time and when it was necessary. He listens to our wants and needs and never asked us to remind him over and over! It was a subtle character quality that he possessed, and I didn't think too much about it while we were there, but it was a refreshing quality Jack was very knowledge about the vehicle as well. The vehicle we were interested in was a new trade in, so it wasn't quite ready, so I tell you this to say the way the dealership as a whole jumped in to help get the vehicle sales floor ready, was awesome! You could tell that this wasn't their first rodeo! Next was Tina the GM this gal was on top of her game. Very sweet and accommodating but you could tell on the other side of that coin was a savvy tough businesswoman that was going to be fair but by no means going to be taken advantage of! She settled my early onset buyer's remorse that i could feel brewing with transparency. Mo finished up our car deal and was also the finance guy! I loved that cause once we came to an agreement, we shook hand and started banging out paperwork! Mo was an awesome dude very knowledgeable with all the different extended warranties packages which i never did until we bought our last used vehicle and needed to use it on the way home from the dealer. We were in and out in no time. Lastly the Owner Austin! how cool is it for the owner of the dealership to make himself available to his customers. He personally helped my wife and I with whatever we needed or questions we had. It was nice not to have to wait for a salesman to run ask the manager a question then run back with and answer! By the time he got back I probably had 3 or 4 more question to send him running back with! lol Austin was personable and kind! Which was a breath of fresh air this day in time. This was also after the dealership had closed on a Sat night! A few things that are small but can make or break a car deal is that they had fresh free hotdogs cooking all day with 5 or 6 different flavors of soda pop obviously coffee with one of those fancy coffee makes with different flavors of coffee and cappuccino, clean bathrooms and something as a parent and someone that used to sale cars they had a nice selection of boys and girls toys! if you've ever tried to purchase a car with a bored toddler forget about it! the salesman can feel the words we're going to have to come back without the kids. that's how the dealership down the street with toys just made your customer their latest car buyer! Shout out to Scot and Bryan as well! They weren't involved in my car deal but did a good job at making us feel welcome and at ease! Sorry about them Aggie's buddy! I would recommend #texascarone to any and every one that's in the market for a vehicle especially a young couple that might be first time buyers. Auto Paddock is a breath of fresh air in the car-shopping space. It's casual, relaxed and personal -- very much like dealing with a private-party -- but it has the inventory, information and facilities of a dealership, all without any pressure or sales xx. Some big plusses of Auto Paddock: * very cool, knowledgeable, straightforward owners * nice inventory with many rarer-spec, enthusiast cars * reasonable prices better than the competition for similar models * low-stress vibe Since they're local to me, I visited them 3 times as I was considering a 911 they had for sale. Initially, the car wasn't ready because they had just gotten it in. The tires were too worn to do a proper test-drive but Sheldon (one of the owners) was completely accommodating and let me check it out on the lot. He also went over the things they found during intake of the car and outlined the maintenance they planned to perform to bring it up to spec. When it was ready, Sheldon let me test-drive the car on two different occasions because he wanted to have the PDK recalibrated (shifting was a little wonky on the first drive). He never displayed any pushiness or expectations, even letting me test-drive alone which allowed me to get a good feel for the car. It was almost like being with a fellow enthusiast at Cars and Coffee that was planning to sell their car and we were just hanging out trying to determine if this was the right fit. I really loved the car and was very close to buying it. But during the time it was receiving PDK recalibration, another 911 came along of a similar spec but rarer color combo with lower mileage. So I ultimately bought that one instead. But because of the excellent experience I had with Sheldon, I was torn and it was difficult to pass on their 911. I would highly recommend Auto Paddock. Sheldon and Tony (F & I person) were excellent to deal with. And although I didn't end up buying their 911, I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them in the future, perhaps on a trade or maybe if they get in an F80 M3 that I like. Go check them out because they're awesome and have really differentiated themselves in the car-buying space.
1993 Cadillac Allante review
I purchased my 93 in 2001, with approx 65K , I travelled and used for pleasure trips, and vacations. Mechanically It has preformed well. I have ha several Electronic issues, Raido system drain of battery, window switches being cleaned and reinstalled, top power latches, both rear and front failures,( Never Close To Home) The seat stitching has come loose on a few seems, but most interior parts are still nice. This vehicle has been garage kept most of its life, exterior is still nice. I have doubled the mileage in past 20 years, but rarely drive anymore.

Great car. My wife calls it a "Chick Magnet." The only fault the car has is Getting Parts! Once you have the parts, finding someone who knows about the car is a real trip! most mechanics don't want to touch the car. But with all the potential problems, still love the car!

I felt they were honest 1st of all. Can't say that about very many dealerships. They gave the best trade-in value on my 2015 Tahoe (by far). I searched Missouri and Illinois for about 8 weeks and Sapaugh was the best experience Hands-Down. My ONLY fault with my whole experience was getting my paper work finished. It was a cash deal with a trade-in. NO financing needed. But it was a holiday weekend (01/02/2026) only one guy doing the paperwork processing instead of two. NOT a giant deal.

I have been driving a 2005 for 10 years. I have driven across country 3 times. The ride is smooth and comfortable. Handles like a vet, but is Cadillac comfort all the way. Picking up my new 2006 tomorrow. Looking forward to another 10 years of fun!

2005 Cadillac XLR review
Awesome car. 2007 Base in 'passion red' # 225 of 250. First roadster I've ever owned, so I can say its the best I've ever owned. Purchased last year with 98k miles and the car runs and drive like new. Everything works (for now) its been a lot of fun getting to know it.

Great Experience from beginning to the drive home! I live in Cleveland, and the car was in Chicago. I saw the car originally on eBay. Jasin was responsive, professional, and detailed. 2005 Cadillac XLR review
I purchased my 2004 Cadillac XLR in 2005 with 5700 miles. It now has 55,000 miles. It's a very fun car, classy and reliable. The only drawback is parts availability. So few of them made and limited parts available. Especially body parts. Be prepared to pay high prices for headlights or tail lights. I wish more cars had been produced.

2005 Cadillac XLR review
I’m 60 years old and owned at least 50 cars from low end to high end cars. This car is the BEST vehicle I’ve ever owned it has it all good looks, awesome performance, all kinds of luxury appointments, superior ride especially for a roadster, roomy I’m 6 4 230 and have ample room. Convertible top works flawlessly and hardly any road noise. I will always own at least one of these until the day I die. Absolutely love it!

2006 Cadillac XLR review
I have owned two xlr' s to date and now planning on moving up to the V. Procrastinated several years considering the cost of the higher-octane fuel required by the V. Retired now so don't plan to drive so much, I am going to keep the 2007 limited edition base (250 made) I have now so I can still ride in stile on regular gas. The 2007 has 63K on it I have put brake pads on the front and replaced the AC compressor. You would do that with any car. The top is an engineering marvel. Everyone who has commented on the car thought it was new, OK, maybe not everyone, there are a few who know the car, all are envious. Such a hoot coming out of a store knowing you get to drive off in the best-looking car in the whole parking lot. Fun to drive is a gross understatement. For me, there was no need to put the super charger on this car. At a buck thirty, I got scared of what would happen if I hit a deer, it was still climbing when I backed out of it. I also have the 2002 red with black interior Eldo.

The perfect car for me. I have always wanted an XLR. Cadillac convertibles are my weakness. I have had several and none disappointed me. I am 82 years old but with this car I feel 28. Every thing about it pleases me It. It has a black interior and a black exterior just like the Cadillac convertible I purchased in 1972 and still have.

He did everything possible to ensure that I was satisfied with the car and the deal. Now here's the extra part that I was even shocked at myself. Once I got the car, I drove it and after 5 miles some of the lights came on such as check engine, ride height, traction control and ABS. I was initially immensely pissed. I called Steve and said you might want to get ahold of that driver who delivered this car and tell him to take it back. Steve suggested I take it to a certified mechanic near me and have it looked at to see what was the problem. Apparently when one light goes off, it triggers more lights to activate. I had it looked at and to fix the car right it was going to be over $3000. Steve took care of it and the dealership paid the whole bill. In my mind that was the most solid thing to do and he did it. He could have argued and tried to avoid it or said no, you bought it, you fix it. They did not do that to me. I'm in Pittsburgh and they are in Chicago. I know I had rights and could have just sent it back but I wanted that car and they fixed it for me. I appreciate everything they (Steve) did for me and I would definitely purchase another vehicle from them. Thank you again Steve and Chicago Auto Gallery.
2008 Cadillac XLR review
I love my 2008 XLR. Leased it new. Lease was up so I thought they wanted too much money of course so I left it at the dealers and rented something else. We were in Florida and I saw one in a showroom. Went to look at price but it was sold. Looked at a listing for one in the area, and there was my car, mileage, vin number etc. so I called and asked if it was a former lease. Yes. From Colonial Cadillac in Danvers Ma. Answer: yes who is this. I explained and he asked me what the dealer wanted. They must think women can be rolled over. My answer was the same xxxx price you have it listed for. So NO. I went to test drive it and they were giving away Starbucks gift cards. It was so sad. My dog ran right over to the car whimpering. It took about another month with no wiggle room. BUT I called said I was leaving for Ma next week, last offer and have a nice life. I of course was lying, told me the car was mine and spent 2 more months in Fl and shopped it back home where it gets used infrequently with the to down.

Luxurious convertible sports car. Similar to a Corvette C6 repairs can be expensive though. It's fast and definitely an eye catcher. Plenty of leg room and parts accessories are available through Amazon.

1993 Cadillac Allante review
A 1993. Bought at end of 2019 w/112k for a good price. Car was in good shape, i.e. no head gasket issues minor oil leaks. After flushing the cooling system changing the belts & hoses & fluids, I drove it for the next 2years without issue. Last year (at 126K) new rad., coolant cross-over and water pump. Now it runs perfectly. Issues: Complicated top that needs a specialist to adjust to work easily. Now have 131k. Positives: stunning to look at (head-turner), fast for an early 90's car (0-60, 6.2, 1/4 mile 14.8 and a Cadillac claimed 241kph top), very nice interior for the time. A hybrid (Italo-American) at a very nice price.
