We bought 2017 Chevrolet Equinox 4 cylinder. Pre owned with about 59k miles. It’s over 110k and we’ve had the oxygen sensor and catalytic converter replaced. Also 1 tire sensor. We’ve put the 2nd set of tires on the car yesterday. Always Michelin as recommended and brake shoes. I just have to say I still love my car. It’s paid for and I’ll drive her as long as I can.

And then solved both problems with a timely fix at a very reasonable price. Historically, I steered clear of Dealerships for service issues. 2018 2.0T AWD with 172k miles on it and it is going STRONG. Bought it used with 31k miles. Zero major issues but I've maintained it religiously, oil and transmission oil changed regularly. Spark plugs and coils had to be switched out at 130k miles but that's expected. Transmission is running strong and still sounds as great as the day I bought it.

However, due to my recent purchase of another vehicle one month prior. This wasn’t the right time for me to trade in my car for the newer vehicle Nucar was offering me. Owner of a 2020 Model for 3 yrs. We only bought it because of the color. Crimson Cayan Metallic. Black Interior. Ours is an LT FWD model. It has a few options which I'm going to say were nice but coming from a Cadillac as a daily driver, it still lacking certain touches my 08 DTS had. Heated Steering is almost a absolute requirement these days. Northern Midwest winters while fairly mild can pack a bit of punch sometimes. But this car had heated seats so i forgave it's fault this time and just bought driving gloves. Its reliability is unfaltering. I'm only at 52K and just now starting to look for tires and brakes for it. I feel like i have driven the wheels off this thing for $30 a week and regular oil changes. Android Auto has been a has been a gift. what system integration. We are on the hunt for a newer model now with more toys in it. But we have decided to keep the Equinox as a backup car. She wont let me Let her go.

Imperial Toyota has never failed to meet my expectations, not only in sales but in service, as well. The dealership is one that is knowledgeable, helpful and fair. The recent service was fabulous in that the representative, Curtis Jones, explained all that needed to be addressed at that time and explained that other maintenance needs that will be upcoming in the future. Love the look and features, hate the 4 cylinder. Has no power. Very comfortable, smooth ride, handles nice, easy to park. Just don't try to pass unless you have plenty of room.

I went for the annual emissions test and it failed because of the evaporator in the charcoal area. There is perhaps a weak voltage going into the system.

The 2025 Equinox is a good solid SUV. My only complaint is it has electronic problems. Every time I take it in the dealer says that no codes can be found? It starts by itself! The engine surges when you are stopped at a light or stop sign, in the past month it surges as you apply the breaks to stop. Happens randomly, You never know when it will happen. Compass has quite working, speed zone indicator has gone out and the message that tells you that your phone is in the charger has disappeared! Other than the above issues the 2025 Equinox is great. 😊

I have owned 3 Chevy equinox and I like the way it looks and handles. It is a great family vehicle and very comfortable and safe. All 3 of my Equinox were the Premier class well worth the extra money and more features.

I have done several long trips, 2 cross-country trips and in town commuting. It is a smooth comfortable ride, easy layout for gauges and controls, roomy, holds tons of cargo, and has great fuel economy (I have gotten up to 38 mpg on the highway going 70mph). All of these were listed in the "bad"- and this has not been my experience. Furthermore, my dad was side-swiped hit and run on the 210 freeway at 80 mph in his equinox and it took it like a champ. It is an easy smooth ride, I feel safe. I strongly recommend this vehicle- really the best bang for the buck- you get way more than you pay for.

I've had one major issue with this car and it's concerning an air conditioning drain hose. I've had to have it drained and unclogged twice in 5 years. It has spilled water all over my floorboards and shorted out my radio and to me that is a design flaw in the car. I've never had any other car do that to me

I’ve had 3 of this generation Equinox since they came out in 2018, and I got rid of the other ones just because I wanted something else. This time I got a Premier 2.0T AWD. It only had 33,000 miles on it and I’ve only had it a few weeks but so far so good. The 2.0T should’ve been the only motor this car came with!

I recently got a 2020 Equinox and there's a reason you see them everywhere. It's a great car that gets (somewhat) decent gas mileage. There's just a few issues I have with it. I've had to ride in the backseat of my Equinox a few times, whether I went out with friends and got slightly drunk or accidentally let my wallet go through the laundry. The point is… every time I have ever ridden in the backseat of the car, I always hit my head on the part where the roof meets the door. I'm 5' 10", which is an average male height, and yet, literally every single time I've ever been in the back seat of my car or in the back seat of an Uber ride that also drove a new-ish Chevy Equinox or similar car, I've hit my head on the headliner when the car turns. I also frequently use this car to transport my younger siblings who don't have a license or are in the process of getting one, and some of them have the same complaint. There's also not a lot of leg room in the back of the car, and again, I am about average male height. Two of my siblings are also around the same height as me. Also, this car is only five years old and the ABS light is already on. Now, this is not a huge deal, but my mom had an older GMC Acadia that she drove for about a decade before any warning lights appeared on her dashboard. Her car's ABS sensor never failed. Anyway, all in all, the newer Chevy Equinox is a really good car and I can see why it's the #1 choice for soccer moms.

We purchased this car used from Hurd Auto Mall in Johnston, RI, with 1yr warranty. Unfortunately within 1 week of purchase we noticed driver door wasn't properly installed. Dealer refused to fix it. Will never go back to that dealership

I want people to know what a great buying experience I had at this dealership. I contacted 4 dealerships about 4 different cars, and Yassin F. was the only one that contacted me by phone, instead of a "canned" email. this is my 3rd Equinox. I drove the prior 2 about 90,000 miles and had no repairs - very reliable. I have 25000 on this one - no problems - a comfortable drive. 30-32mpg on a trip and 26mpg around town. mine has heated seats and dual climate controls/ both work well

Purchased a 2026 RS with all the Toys. Love the larger size. This is my 3rd Equinox and so far it is the best overall. The only thing I haven't figured out is the windshield display which the salesman also couldn't do. When I get a chance I will figure it out.

At first we were looking at the Trailblazer. Then we saw the Equinox on the lot, and we took it for a test drive. Once we were inside my wife said this is it. The vehicle was very comfortable, roomy and had very good performance. We've had this vehicle for over a year, we have drove it to Los Angeles twice from San Francisco and the gas mileage is phenomenal. I can go from San Francisco to LA on one tank of gas. In San Francisco, the hill assist is very useful. I am pleased with my vehicle and expect to use it for the next 10 years.
