2024 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 review
Within first 500 miles I had check engine lights come on and truck went into limp mode. This is all while traveling for work! It’s not the dealership here its manufacture. Pay this much for dependable truck and it breaks down before your first oil change! Apparently it’s turbo issues and power steering gears so Chevrolet needs to do better on quality control before sending 100k trucks to the market!!!

2019 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 review
I bought this truck to pull my 9000 lb travel trailer, which was wearing out a half-ton pickup. The 3500 pulls it very well. Towing mirrors and brake controller are excellent. Where legal I towed with cruise control at 70 mph on I-80 from Cheyenne, WY to the Mississippi River. The truck did not slow or downshift for a hill the entire way. It got 12-15 mpg. There was absolutely no trailer sway, even without an anti-sway hitch. When not towing, the truck averages 23 mpg at 75 mph, with a range of about 600 miles/tankful. You can hear the diesel engine around town but not on the highway. The ride is heavy-duty, as expected, but very comfortable on the highway. The seats are great. The recommended tire pressure is for maximum load. I run 45 psi unloaded without setting off the tire pressure monitor. The truck rides and handles better that way. Anything I don't like? The headlights come on and the radio/GPS switches to night-time display mode in broad daylight depending on sun angle. I can't see the display while wearing dark glasses when it does that. You can't override this behavior. As for reliability I can't say much because I've only driven the truck 20,000 miles. So far, no issues. A major reason I went with GM was the fuel pump. It's worth researching diesel fuel pump lawsuits online.

2011 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 review
Great truck overall! Great styling inside and out. A little disappointed in the fuel mileage when new, but everyone I talk to says it will increase when the motor loosens up. After getting some ridiculous estimates from other mechanics and body shops, I decided to give this place a try…. I got outstanding service from Pat Gavin. He quickly got me estimates which confirmed my suspicions that the other mechanics were trying to gorge me into paying for a bunch of unnecessary repairs. Pat & team were able to fix several problems that had been lingering on my car for several months. I always postponed getting these things fixed because other mechanics wanted literally $5-10k for what seemed like small issues. I’m ecstatic to have finally found someone in this industry that conducts business with (1) integrity and (2) high standards in delivering quality! It’s such a relief to know where to go to get my car fixed without getting guided into a bunch of high priced and unnecessary work. I also got my car back cleaner than when I dropped it off!! Everything from the service to the price to the quality of the work exceeded my highest expectations. 1 month later my car is running as good as new. If only everything in the auto industry (particularly the service & repair industry) was run this way.

I purchased a truck from them in january 2022, unfortunatly the truck broke down on my way home, it first started with a coolant leak. after my mechanic fixed the leak he noticed the truck was getting a lot of missfires and no codes coming out, they had already replaced fuel bump, and catallic comberters( which the old ones were super burned out) this was now a month later after i had purchased the truck and yet after doing all that work it still didnt run right.... called motorsource to let them know what had happen with it. they were aware that it broke down since day 1 of driving it.. we both agreed that the vehicle needed more work and decided to bring it back to motorsource.. it was a really bad experience at first but these guys understood that the truck was bad or needed work to be sold and we were able to replace it for another truck that would work and didnt have any issues.. Over all experience was great.. these guys were super honest about the situation and were willing to help another business owner with their bussiness needs.. HIGHLY recomend.
2015 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 review
My truck has a 6.6 turbo diesel and an Allison automatic transmission . From East Tawas Michigan to Cape Canaveral Florida my truck averaged 10.4 miles per gallon. It has an exhaust brake that works wonderful in the hills or mountains the transmission keeps it in the gear it needs to be in it is awesome.
