I was well satisfied with the service provided by Sherman Johnson. He was very knowledgable and thoroughly explained the features of the RDX I bought. He made sure that any question I had was answered to my satisfaction. Sherman definitely cares about his customers and, in my opinion, deserves a gold-star customer service rating!!!

I love my Equinox!
by OhioGuy43528 from Holland, Ohio
April 23, 2019
I'm a single person so I don't need a big honkin vehicle. The Equinox is just right for me. The gas mileage is great, does a fabulous job in all kinds of weather. I've got the best tires I can afford and the performance of the Equinox is outstanding. I've got an OnStar subscription so I always feel safe. No rust yet. The interior is a bit on the small side, I can't haul a lot of stuff - one trip to stock up at the warehouse club and the Equinox is loaded. avoid the black interior if you can it is really dark - I put a light color sheet over the backseat so I could see what was going on with packages on the seat.
Not sure what Chevy has done wrong? But our Equinox was a issue shortly after we purchased it new on Feb of 2012! Like all cars and anything else new you have high hopes and expectations, well the Equinox fell very very short.. At around 7k mile our front strut started rattling. Mounting bolts came off @ 20k miles we started having transmission issues that the dealer gave us run the around about since it was not consistent but it would occasionally slam into the next gear after sitting at a stop light or stop sign and it was time to move. Fought this issue for several month's. Finally at 30k mile the dealer supposedly fix the issue! During the same time frame we noticed a change in the engine noise. After checking it appeared the engine was 3 quarts low on oil. I am very strict with all vehicle services on all my vehicle's. The on board computer stated we still had 50% oil life remaining. So I put in oil took it back to Chevy. Only to have tgem tell me it's normal for these engines to consume a quart of oil about every 1 to 2 thousand miles! Which did not make sense. Based on there theory and the on board computer if I followed from that point on my engine would not only be negative (not really) 3 quarts of oil once the computer tells me at 15% oil life to pwrform a oil change which is about 7500 miles. The engine would blow up from no oil left! So I started doing oil changes at 3000 miles which with full synthetic started to get expensive. This continued until they realized lots if these engines were having a big problem. So for $158 labor the dealership would perform a consumption test and then extend your engine warranty to 150k miles. (They really do have a known issue just Google it) so had that done but still had to keep topping off the oil. At 3000 miles this oil would come out blacker than fresh asphalt! So now fighting trans slipping again at 60k miles that dealer will not cover any more and oil disappearing routinely.
Car is only little past 3 years old at this time. A couple trans flushes seemed to help the slipping. At year 4 the defrost/floor selector stopped working cost to repair over $500 Due to mostly labor to remove the entire radio/center stack to replace Yeap you guessed it cheap part that chevy used and the service advisor knew all to well about stated he gets at least 2 a month in and or parts dept is usually out of stock for the upgraded part.
As the oil issue continued throughout its life with us. Over the next couple year's went through other issues. 1/2 dash lights not working. Rear wiper stopped working head light switch went out all different times. Electric seat warmer. Rear hatch handle. Just could not deal with this horrible vehicle any more. At year 7 with only 86k miles on it we gladly traded it in. Sorry chevy you lost a lifelong customer! Purchased a 2019 Kia Sportage for less than what the Equinox cost me with more bells and whistles. I would avoid these lines of subs like the plague! I've owned several vehicles in my 52 years of life and I have never heard or seen of engines just using oil for no reason. I have a 02 chevy avalanche with 300k all original miles on it and the only oil it uses is a small drip from the rear main not enough to even notice on its dipstick. Also own a 2012 Kia Rio with 135k miles on it never a drop of oil and a flawless car if I may say! If you buy a Equinox hope you enjoy the dealership or other mechanic!
I was traveling from Raleigh back to my home in London Canada. The car notified me it was time for an oil change. I contacted OnStar and was directed to the nearest Chevy dealership which was Ferris Chevrolet. I got there at lunchtime and was advised the service tecs. were gone for lunch and would do the service when they returned. They quickly had me back on the road with a complete service and a clean Chevy Cruze. Excellent service provided to a total stranger from another country, Great service!!

As I mentioned to mr robati my sales associate I left the dealership with bunch of stuffs to learn even robati explained everything I still have to learn bunch more which I love it.
While my car was being serviced on Aug 14, I had a really fun conversation with Ryan. After servicing, I investigated the lot & found a car I really liked. When I was able to, I talked with Dwight Fouts about the car. He figured a deal for me that got that particular car in my garage. My husband & I have dealt with Ferris for about 30 years & I will continue to deal there!

My experience at Ferris was amazing. Everyone from the salesman Bob who helped me pick out my new car to Travis during the buying process, and to the guys in service department were very professional, courteous and helpful. I have and will recommend Ferris to my family and friends. I love my car and when it's time for it to be serviced I will be taking it back there. Thanks guys for all your help!!¿

I have had my 2008 for one week now so OnStar and membership weren't included. Came with one key. Everything went great until i started the car so my husband could move it AND IT AUTO LOCKED THE DOORS!! That's right, car running, only set of keys in the ignition and the doors were locked!! I had to wreck the visor on the driver's side and spend a half hour fishing around with a curtain rod to unlock the car!! What kind of car locks you out AFTER you've started the car with the doors unlocked?!?
Tom Jennings did a great job showing us the car, settling on a price, and making sure everything was working great even after it was bought. I would suggest using Tom when buying your next vehicle.

Bought the car with 84K on the dial, one owner bought the car in Jan 2015. I have put a lot into this car mainly axles, brakes, and changed all of the cooling components minus the thermostat. Car has 140K now, delivered pizza and full time student for 3 years, left me on the road sometimes too because of cooling issues but day in and day out it starts and gets me where i need to go.
Akron Auto Sales was the best dealership to buy my used car. Dave and Rachael were great, honest and helpful. The car was not inspected yet by their mechanic. So I gave the deposit and in a few days I got a call from Rachael that the car is ready to pick up. I was explained of what was OK with the car and what was fixed and replaced. Next day I took the car to my mechanic and he said that the car was in such great shape that it was a great deal. I normally do not write reviews, but I received such wonderful customer service that I would recommend this dealership to anyone. Great service, great staff, and overall I am extremely satisfied.
Thank you again Dave and Rachael

Rose is by far the best sale person I???ve ever been in contact with. She recently sold me my third Rogue and made sure that I was comfortable not only with the vehicle and it???s amazing technology but also financially. No pressure, and she was 110% honest and knew what she was talking about. I felt like I had known her for years. She follows up on a regular basis, sends holiday wishes and knows who you are when you see her outside of Ganley. Rose cares about her customers unlike some who only care about that sale. THANK YOU KEN GANLEY NISSAN! ROSE, YOU ARE THE BEST 🙂

This car is just perfect for me. Love the way it handles and looks. Hope to get many more miles out of it. Very comfortable.
I was very satisfied with our experience at Godard Auto Sales and am more than happy with my "new to me" car. If you do your homework you will find that they offer quality used cars at a very fair price. The sales experience was nothing like I was used to at a brand-based dealership, and am confident that we will come back when we are ready for another vehicle. We felt very comfortable at the dealership and the low pressure environment was fabulous.

Mr.reliable is the nickname for my G1500 , hes always ready for work, strong, and reliable ! The best work van out there. I’ve owned a 2012 for 3 years now and it hasn’t given me ANY issues ... highly recommend
I was nervous about going to a big dealership, but it was better than I could have expected. I brought along my boyfriend who has purchased a few cars before, and is a corporate finance major, so I felt confident in his opinion and ability to help me make the best deal I could. Our saleman, Mark Perry, was absolutely wonderful. He had a calm, friendly and open demeanor. He was helpful but never pushy and very straightforward. Overall I would rate the experience 10/10.

This car pretty much has everything, more than I have ever had on a car.
Plenty of leg room, ample cargo space, love the white diamond pearl paint and the chrome wheels
They didn't end up having the right car for me, but their customer service was amazing and they were very polite! They called me once on the phone to arrange an appointment but they didn't repeatedly harass me about it like most dealers do. Very easy to deal with. I would definitely reccomend them to anyone looking for a non pushy car buying experience!

Early 7-17 production, serial # under 120 currently with 11K+ miles running on original computer programming. Operation has been impressive and flawless to date. Oil/filter changes only. Transmission with new clutch mechanism has a more solid feel in the lower gears like a manual tranny - likely what many might mistake as a "shudder" if gas pedal is jerked. GMs doing something right - 29-30+ mpg highway running a 310 hp V6 engine which will 0-60 in lower 6+ sec.
Lived in the area for years and always purchased vehicles elsewhere. Just happened to stop in to look at a used Silverado at the back of the lot. Was greeted by John Sarchione while he was outside moving trucks around in 10* weather. Very politely introduced himself and assured me if there was anything I needed he could get it done within reason. Told him I was looking for a used Z71 being a big Chevy guy. Showed me what was available and took 2 of them for a drive. Then he mentioned that they had a really nice f150 and that I should at least check it out..(I laughed) sure why not I said. Hour later I drove away in my new ecoboost! Unbelievable. Angel was exceptional in getting me the best rate possible and was a pleasure to deal with. If you are looking for a vehicle this is the place to go. You will leave happy knowing they helped you every way possible, instead of feeling like you just got raked over the coals.. Just try it out and I'm sure that you'll be a Sarchione fan. Just an awesome way to buy vehicles. From awesome people !!!!!
