I went in with vehicle I wanted transferred and it was available within 5 days, even though it was quite a distance from Knoxville (Boston). Will Purvis, my sales consultant, was great to work with! I don't plan to ever buy a vehicle anywhere else again!! Thanks Will and Knoxville carmax staff!
We are new to United States only 1.5yrs. To make it worse we moved from Illinois to Tennessee and we have only been here for 7minths. We really needed a second car as me and my wife we have only relied on one car forcing us not to maximize on our working hours. As you know USA I runned on credit we didn't even have a score since my credit card was only 4months old. When I started shopping for a car I needed someone who will accept our credit status.
I came across car max through google chrome and through their website I looked for the cars they advertised and singled out two Hyundai Elantra. My wife is new in the road so she really needed small car. It did not take 20min after I saved the car on their website. A sales representative Chris called me. He professionally introduced himself and promised to work with me. I visited the facility the next day and I loved it. Enough space to receive overwhelming customers . Chris was ready to receive me when my friend and I arrived. He gave both of us a warm firm handshake with a professional smile. I felt like I was at home though my heart was wondering whether I'll get a car due to my credit score. Chris worked with us, he guided us and in two weeks we had our car. Btw the two weeks could have been shortened if the car was here in Knoxville yard. The car was shipped at no cost to us from Lexington Kentucky to Knoxville, TN. Still I was involved in the whole process and got notified.
Bought car. Paid cash and my check reached my bank the next day . That was two weeks ago. I have not received my title yet. I will not buy another used automobile again from someone that will not give me a title for the auto whenI I pay cash for it. The title existed for this auto since it was used. Why can"t it be given to the buyer since it was a cash deal? I will have to take the Knox Co. license to my county to have it changed since they wanted to register it in Knox county.
I worked with Jan from Carvana- she was able to explain to me the process, make sure I was comfortable with where it was at, was able to be reached and kept communication open. The pick up process went smoothly and I was able to sell my car without any glitches.
After visiting several of the typical dealerships I walked away confused and Unsatisfied. After visiting Carvana.com I picked out a vehicle to my liking and price point fill out the paperwork got approval I had my new vehicle delivered to my front door. Most typical dealerships you spend half a day walking away with an overpriced vehicle in an overpriced interest-rate. My experience with carvana was and still is very good. I wanted to sell my can a few months ago and Madison was super nice. Undirtunately I had to cancel the sell bc of personal reasons. Now I???m again in the process of selling and Madison is super patient with me and so nice!
I posted my car on Craigslist. Never heard of Caravana before. Tom Perkins called me and told me about Caravan. He send me the link. Put a few information and walaaa, got my reasonable offer for my car. I attached a picture of my drivers license and the title of the car on the website. Made appointment to have them pick up the car, gave me my check......done. Seriously, it was that easy. Tom Perkins followed up the whole time with a text how the process is going. Best service. If you want sell your car with no hassle, go with Caravan. Thanks for the best service Tom.
Today the guys at Ole Ben Franklin Motors in Alcoa really saved me. My 2 yr old Lincoln MKZ was showing low battery in the key so I decided to change the batteries in both key fobs. They came apart easily but over 2 hrs later a total of 4 intelligent adults were unable to put them back together, so I am thinking I have to drive all the way into Knoxville to the delearship where I purchased the car. I had company coming and really didn’t have time but my car was useless until I did. So I jumped into my old Ford truck and took off. On the way I passed Ole Ben Franklin Motors so I thought why not try to see if they could do it. I walked in and explained my problem and the first guy asked if I bought the car from them. I said no and he said OK and went right to work on the fob. After a couple of minutes he decided there must be some trick to it and walked me over to Tom Weiss the general manager. Tom immediately smiled at me, took the fob and went to work on it. It took him about 4-5 minutes but he got it together and handed it back to me. I thought I may be pushing my luck a bit but took the other fob out of the bag and asked if he would do that one too. It was in 4 pieces so soon a delightful young named Mitchell walked up and between them both they got the second one back together. THANK YOU TOM AND MITCHELL for your graciousness. I was treated like their best customer ever even though they knew I had never purchased anything from them. They are the kind of people I love doing business with so I will give them a try the next time I need a car.
I drove 3 hours to see a Dodge Ram 1500 that Curtis had on his lot. I was looking to replace mine which had been totaled in an accident. Dealing with the insurance company was somewhat difficult but Curtis worked with me and was so awesome, understanding and helpful. Thanks Curtis! Love my truck!!!
