I own a 2001 xk8 and have no regrets about this car which I use mostly on weekends. It is still a head turner when I sit at the light and other motorists come close up and recognize the beauty. The ego ge is quiet, it sits comfortably on the road and “ sprints out of the block very fast and maintains its incredible speed.” I love this car.

Purchased my 07 BMW 328xi (E90) quite used, with 189,000 miles on it, and nearly no issues at all but for a badly-needed head unit upgrade and probably a systems software update (since it has no USB drives built into it, I'm unable to download and install the system software updates myself. Not a huge fan of the clonky iDrive or whatever it's called; seems a bit overkill. The factory DVD drive exclusively for Nav installation updates (that are now so beyond obsolete, they aren't even available,) is one of the more ridiculous decisions BMW made with this car. No full-size spare on extra rim in the trunk, which I thought was a German automotive norm, having owned four Audi A4s prior to this BMW. I was more than a little disappointed to find not only no full-size spare, but not even the space for one if you wanted one, and not even a spare tire of any sort, not even a lousy donut. And I get it, BMW has great faith in their "run-flat" tires. But every Audi I've owned has had not only factory run-flat tires, but ALSO the full-size spare rim and tire in a special compartment under the trunk. I'm stumped as to this continued oversight in BMW's decisions. The trunk location of the battery was a surprise, though now, having located three individual positive charging prods (two on the battery in the trunk, one on the upper left near the washer fluid reservoir,) I am decidedly a fan of having flexibility in car positioning for jumping other cars. I can't be positive, but I assume the floor mats that came with mine are factory, based on what I've seen online and the weird and raggedy shape of these horrendous things. Total fail, if so. I've had better stock floor mats in junky minivans than these frumpy little, not-quite-sized-right and with a weird flap of carpeting that sticks nearly onto the accelerator pedal itself, although it's unable to be tucked at all into the space underneath the pedals. Yuck. I expected better than these. Factory speakers throughout entire car still nearly mint, sound fantastic, and the audio controls allow for some pretty unique audio options (like the option to have the music automatically increase in volume as the car increases in speed lol. That's a funky little quirky. Um, can we real talk, BMW, about this whole outdated 90's-style popout cupholder situation? 🤔 I won't pretend to understand what the heck went on during that embarrassing decision, but man, that's not a good look or functional, you guys. Yeesh. Otherwise, so far so good. Smooth, comfy, classic style, beautiful paint color, impressive little car.

This whole process of buying a car was a very positive experience. Since I was 14 I’ve dreamed that one day I’d be able to own a white twin turbo Supra! I’ve been following Brooklyn Auto for a little over a year now. I’ve always loved looking at all the awesome cars they have and dream that one day I’d be able to buy something as cool. I started following them because I’ve always loved Toyota Supra’s, and they always seem to have very quality ones for sell. Only problem is I live in Kansas in they are in New York. But Last month they posted the car I had always wanted. A White Twin Turbo Supra with only 71k miles on it. That night day at about 10pm my time (even later in New York) I texted the number posted and within minutes Adam from Brooklyn Auto Messaged me back. I told him that I really liked the car and preceded to ask questions. That night I ask if he could finance a part of the car and he told me no problem. He had a bank that he used that he trusted. The next morning Adam and I spoke on the phone and made me feel really comfortable with the whole process. He was very prompt when requesting any videos, and very responsive with answering all the questions that I had. It took the thought “is this for real” or “a bad deal” completely away! With little time I was approved for the loan and the car was mine! Now for transportation! I’ve always had a bad experience with transporters. Adam told me not to worry because he had a guy. The transport guy called me and told me because I was working with Adam he would hook me up and give me a discount and setup a time to pick up the car the next day. This was on a Thursday, the transporter told me he should have the car to me by the following Thursday. Adam sent me another Video of the car getting loaded up and I got supra excited! Well guess what? That Sunday I got a call from the transporter saying he was only 3 hours out!!! For real!?!?! He showed up 4 days early! Seeing the car for the first time was amazing! Just how it had been described to me! It only took 25 years. Because of Adam I now have the car I’ve always wanted, and it is crazy nice!!!! I've only owned my XK8 for six months, so I cannot speak to my own long-term experience, but I researched and followed these cars for four years before buying one. It's one of those cars you buy because you want one--bad. Jaguars, at their best, appeal to your heart. That doesn't mean you have to turn off your brain, though. I can say that my car was well-designed and well-built. It feels solid and tight and built to a high standard. I've owned mostly Japanese cars--Hondas, Acuras, and a Lexus, which I still own. These are not true sports cars; they are luxury GTs. That's important to note. I had a Honda S2000 before this--totally different animal. The X100 (XK8 and XKR, 1996--2006) is a heavy car--almost two tons, so even with a V8 under the bonnet, they aren't "fast" by today's measure. (The supercharged XKR is the way to go for those looking for more of that kind of thrill.) I gave my car a 5 for performance because to me it perfectly fits the bill for what it is. It's composed, quiet, and handling is capable, not corner-carving. The steering is precise but light. It does not wander on-center. The car is gorgeous inside and out, and the interior is bordering on sumptuous. The seats are the most comfortable and supportive for long trips I've ever owned, and I've had some nice cars. Mine is a Victory Edition final-year model, with the "soft-grain" leather interior. This leather is soft and supple but it wears really well. My interior looks new and my car has 52K on it. As for reconditioning and upkeep: these cars are all 20--30 years old. They will need this and that. Buy in the best condition you can find and you'll come out ahead financially over buying one that needs work. (Unless of course you're a skilled DIY.)

Mom in law bought new in 2000 our 320 coupe for her husband. We received it as a hand-me-down 11 years ago. It had been perfectly reliable, fun to drive, great mileage in town and out. We have the 500k badge and hope for 1M but the Midwest road salt has given us rust spots. The engine and electrics will far outlast our car’s beautiful but spotted body.

A few concerns to address, the first is ABC active body control is a concern for this car. I own Phone Doctor in Frederick Maryland and hardware tech is my passion so I want to give my feedback. I love the classy lines of the exterior. The interior is equally elegant and tasteful without gaudy disco lights. I was mesmerized into test driving a 2005 SL500 because my daily driver is a 2001 Mercedes s600. The audio system is lackluster, next weakness is the headlights, but the biggest problem is the ABC (active body control) hydraulic suspension. The audio system is disappointing and leaves me feeling flaccid but I’m used to twelve inches of JL systems shimmed into my high school hoopties. The audio system is not the deal-breaker for this $90,000 machine. And the mediocre headlights can be remedied with aftermarket auxiliary lights. The biggest weakness is the high performance suspension system. Mercedes likes to call it ABC (active body control). The hydraulic pump, seals, and mechanical moving parts gets weak and loses its performance anywhere between 80,000 to 150,000 miles. It’ll cost just as much to replace the ABC system than it does to purchase your 2nd hand sl500. If you’re in the market for one make sure you have an extra $20,000 in socked up before you drop your drawers and plop $15k on your first SL500. A dream ride with one last caveat: This car will draw a lot of attention from single ladies!

It has been about 4 years since I purchased my luxury SUV from them and everytime I go there for service, the job is always done effectively for a marginal fee. Recently, my truck couldn't move forward and backward and I had it towed to them. To my big surprise, I had it back yesterday (11/20/19). While I was expecting a monster bill, to my big surprise, the invoice was zero. When I asked why, the answer was: " What was done, only required a nominal charge", and as a customer, that charge was fully discounted. In my opinion, any other place would have charged at least $2,000.00. Thus, with that experience, coupled with many others, I am proud to recommend BAS to anyone who's purchasing or servicing a motor vehicle. 2021 a5 PREM Plus; B&O 7th audi I've owned & they just keep getting better. Not a fan of the tap every time screen I want to do something feature which is fairly new. This one could be a keeper! The stereo is very high quality & handling rocks, quick & nimble. Sport suspension is a personal choice, always order it. Stiffer but smooth. Car is quite. Sport seats heated, heated mirrors, heated steering wheel. Need I say more?

We live in Naples, Florida and in April of 2021, we purchased a 2008 Toyota Solara convertible from Salit Auto Sales in Edison, NJ. We had a FaceTime call with Steve Salit to inspect the car before we purchased it and saw only a couple of minor scratches on the body. We had the car shipped through the transport company recommended by Salit, and when it arrived, we found additional damage on both bumpers that we had not previously been aware of. We let Steve know about this issue, and he worked with us to have the damage repaired in Naples at no cost to us. He emphasized that our satisfaction with the car was his number 1 goal, and that goal has definitely been met. We couldn’t be happier with our new (old) car!

My 2008 Redline was one of my favorite car purchases ever. I bought it as a second vehicle to cruise around with the top down. This car shocked me by it's performance. Super quick with very little turbo lag. Handling is on par with a Miata. With it's massive clam shell hood it's also super easy to work on. Not the nicest interior materials, but it's reliable and parts are readily available. My opinion is this is the perfect buy for someone looking for an affordable sports car.
