2024 Ford Mustang review
I just purchased the 2024 rapid red turbo. I love the mode change and it has that great sound as you pull away from others. Great take off and smooth ride. The only negative and it is very slight-- it that it is difficult to change the temp, and my Sirus does not have all features. This is my 4th mustang, with my first being the very small box shape. I am so THANKFUL for Carli here at JC Lewis service. In 2021, we bought a brand new CX5 and drove our way from IL to Savannah. There, I left the new car and my daughter. Being 700+ miles away, I get very anxious about her dealing with "dealerships" and possibly being taken advantage of. Recently the car just "stopped" and had an emergency brake issue. We had the car towed to JC Lewis where Carli and the service team went to work. I cannot tell you how WONDERFUL, PATIENT, UNDERSTANDING, INFORMATIVE, KIND, all the feel-good words that Carli was and made me feel SO MUCH BETTER about my daughter having to deal with this. They had the car for about 3 weeks, provided a courtesy car and made sure to go over everything, made the repairs and then some. There were other issues that arose while they had it and I anxiously waited for a bill that could be in the thousands, but Carli was diligent in making sure anything that was covered under warranty, was. I cannot tell you how much I APPRECIATE her and her constant communication over the past 3 weeks. She didn't have to go that extra mile to put me at ease, as my daughter IS 26 :) but she did, and I am SO relieved. Seeing as this is the only Mazda dealership near my daughter in Savannah, she'll continue to bring her car there for all services. I did a lot of "homework" before we bought our Mazda's and if you're on the fence, Mazda (CX5) is the way to go & JC Lewis Mazda is the place for all your service needs. Thanks again Carli! 2025 Ford Mustang review
I’ve owned my Mustang EcoBoost Premium Convertible for a while now, and it completely shatters the old stereotype that a Mustang needs a V8 to be a "real" sports car. It is the perfect platform for someone who wants open-air fun without sacrificing premium comfort, daily drivability, or cutting-edge technology. The stock EcoBoost engine is already incredibly punchy, but the platform reacts beautifully to the right modifications. Adding the Ford Performance Calibration—which ups the output to a serious 350 horsepower and 402 lb-ft of torque—along with a Mishimoto intercooler completely wakes the car up. To be honest, this is exactly how the car should have come from the factory if Ford wasn't so worried about tuning it down just to keep it 87-octane compatible. Running it on premium fuel with this calibration gives you massive low-end torque, immediate throttle response around town, and a relentless pull on the highway. Opting for the Premium trim is a must. The interior materials are a massive step up, making the cabin feel like a high-end grand tourer. I am especially happy with the tech in this car. I absolutely love the giant digital screen layout. While some Mustang purists don't like it and prefer old-school physical gauges, I am someone who always embraces new technology. Sitting in the driver's seat makes me feel like I am in an airplane cockpit. Features like the active cruise control work excellently on longer drives. The only thing I wish Ford had included in this tech package is a Head-Up Display (HUD). Because it's a convertible, you do have to deal with open-air road noise, and while the factory B&O sound system is decent, to me it was really lacking—especially with the top down. Fortunately, the platform is incredibly rewarding if you like to customize, so I upgraded the factory audio to a custom, high-end 3-way active system while retaining the stock head unit. Now, even with the top down on the highway, the audio clarity is absolutely incredible. If you are looking for a sharp, tech-forward sports car that delivers genuine performance, upscale daily comfort, and a brilliant platform for subtle, high-quality upgrades, the EcoBoost Premium Convertible is tough to beat.

Ask for Philip! I was in the market for a very specific model used car which I happened to find online at Critz BMW. Critz is located about 450 miles away from me in another state and to say I bit nervous about buying a car that I could not see in person first was an understatement, but I decided to reach out to Critz BMw anyways and am happy I did. I was contacted the following morning by Philip Ellison. I expressed my concerns about buying a used car over the phone that I could not see in person first. Philip went above and beyond to try and help alleviate my concerns. You can tell that Philip is not only a car person himself but a straight shooter too. Not only did he take the time to send me over a dozen high resolution photos but also sent me several detailed videos in which he was sure to point all the minor imperfections (which were all normal things one would expect on a used car). The price negotiations were painless, without all the unnecessary games that a lot of car dealerships try which I truly appreciated. We were easily able to reach an agreement on price within 30 minutes. I decided to fly to Savannah and drive the car home instead of having the car transported to me as l wanted to see and drive it before paying for it and Philip with kind of enough to personally come pick me and my son at the airport in person. Once we got to the dealership, you could see that the car was detailed to perfection. Not a single water spot or speck of dust anywhere and it was exact as described oy Philip. He even went as far as to stored inside to keep the weather and element from messing up the detail job before I arrived. He could tell I was excited about buying the car which he said got him excited about having the car ready for me. After a quick test drive, we sat down to complete the necessary paperwork with Nikki in the finance department. In my 30+ years of buying and leasing cars, this was probably the quickest and nicest time! have had to spend with a finance manager in all my car buying experiences. Both Philip and Nikki reviewed some of the various protection plans that they had available for me, but I never felt as if they were being pushy or trying to hard sell me. Being over 50+ years old, I can honestly say that this was the most pleasant car buying experiences I have every had and want to personally thank Philip for making it so easy and pleasant. Even though Critz is 450 miles away from me, I will look at buying from them again when the time comes and would highly recommend that if you are looking to buy from Critz in Savannah, GA, that you ask for Philip.

2013 BMW 335 review
The F30 design when not M Sport is muted, but when you get the M Sport package and all the goodies, it becomes the sports car that BMW intended. It just hit 100,000 and is starting to show wear with rattles from the dashboard and an increase in road/wind noise due to aging weatherstripping. Easy fix! I can say that with FBO that this car has been reliable - nothing major has broken and left me stranded. Sure, due to adding more power it has gone through spark plugs faster but you pay for that when you give it ~70hp more than factory. After upgrading the clutch and cooling system, I am completely worry free on this vehicle. If you want a comfortable cruiser, this car is not it. If you want a sports car, this is what you go for. They can be equipped with most any tech feature one would like - from HUD, Navigation, Parking Distance Control, Bluetooth, etc

2023 Chevrolet Corvette review
Update from Vette Guy of Tucson, Az. I received my replacement Z-06 convertible almost exactly 2 months from the date I ordered it. It arrived exactly as ordered: Mist Red with Natural interior, Z07 Handling Package, Visible Carbon Fiber Big Aero Package, Carbon Fiber Wheels and Racing Seats. I have 800 miles on the car, so far no problems. I plan on racing the car in the September Silver State Challenge Ely, Nv. open road race. I raced the 2023 Z06 there in May, great race try it! I'm also attending the Z06 driving school in Pahrump,Nv. I did the Z51 school last year, highly recommended! Overall a big Thumbs up to Watson Chevrolet for keeping their word on getting me a replacement Z-06!

I replaced my 2019 Grand Sport with this 2024 Stingray, and while I really liked the GS I like my Stingray even more. The most succinct summary I can present of the two cars is the C7 is a muscle car and the C8 is a sports car, and I prefer the latter.

2024 Ford Mustang review
Definitely a drivers car, very comfortable and easy to drive. I have the manual transmission and shifting is a breeze. I bought all the premium gadgets and interior along with the sports package. Plenty of power in this vehicle everywhere. Nice long gears so makes traffic with a manual tolerable. Only complete, its a big mustang. I have a 2011 and it is a slimer design. But plus side of case feel like you are in a NASCAR! Can't wait to hit the Kancamagus and spring into next summer.

2026 BMW Z4 review
Following two Mazda Miatas and a MINI Roadster S, we chose the last year of the BMW z4 to continue our top down motoring experience. While certainly larger than our previous roadsters, it has superior engine performance and handling capabilities and a more premium interior and spectacular exterior appeal. We found the B46 4 cylinder engine plenty powerful and did not want/need the legend B58 6 cylinder's extra power, cost or insurance premium. The z4 sDrive 30i offers similar camaraderie as the Miatas and MINIs with both BMWCCA and ZSCCA group activities. With only our break-in miles, cannot speak to reliability but our other BMWs (x3 M40i and 230i) have been problem-free.

So my check engine light came on. I called to get info and find a time to come in. I have always been hesitant with repairs at dealerships, but I now see why they are always packed. 2013 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class review
Surprisingly an excellent value for sports car. Bought mine used and quality is still intact. The reliability has proven to be very good. A fun DIY car that is easy to work on. Parts are priced reasonably well and readily available. The Mercedes roadability is the true fun factor. Classic Mercedes styling, being a unique hardtop convertible, and name, will win many over now in and in the future.
