2022 Ford Mustang review
After a negligent driver rear-ended my other car, I bought a 2022 Mustang GT Premium with the insurance money. I had a 1979 Mustang Cobra years ago and loved it. This is a great car, too. Fast, comfortable and beautiful. I haven't driven it in snow yet and have some trepidation about that but otherwise I'm glad I bought it. There are only three things I don't like: the car payment (who does?), the gas mileage, although I can get 30 mpg if I drive 58 mph, and there seems to be some high school kid at every stoplight who wants to race. This is definitely a car worth buying if you're an empty-nester, going through your mid-life crisis or single and don't have to haul much in your trunk.

2023 Dodge Challenger review
I traded in a 2011 SE Challenger that I had for 12 years & was NEVER disappointed. I traded it for a "last call" 2023 Challenger GT AWD w/the blacktop pkg & am so glad I stayed with the Dodge Challenger! I love this car, more than any bf! It's stylish, looks great in Shazberry Pearl aka Octane Red. It's comfortable to drive, but not to sleep in, lol. I trust & expect it'll be as reliable as the 2011. The AWD really makes a difference in handling. I really like the interior being loaded butcwould be nice to have blind spot notification. The only thing I do miss is the V8 rumble sound, but the gas mileage helps me get over that, 18mpg in town. MOPAR forever!

2012 Chevrolet Camaro review
What a great car to drive. I beat on this 2ss constantly with absolutely no problems ever. As far as Evelyn and the blend door, you never have door issues if you don't drop pens or mascara and stuff down from the dash and jam it up. I haven't had one problem in 100,000 very very hard miles and 4 or 5 sets of tires. Overall an amazing fun car

2012 Honda CR-Z review
Got this car in 2017 with 80k miles. In the spring summer and fall the car got about 35-39 mpg. In the winter it went to a low of 32 mpg. Saved tons on gas only filling up the roughly 8 gal tank once a month. The ride is fun just straight fun! The handling feels fantastic in total control at all times! It both rides like and feels like a go kart right turns and fast acceleration. Don’t be fooled by the small engine the car can easily reach 60 mph and above and maintain it. Would highly revoke this car for anyone looking for something 10k or under that is looking for a car that while being not too expensive looks unique and high end. Plenty of trunk space almost a deceiving amount with adjustable “back seat”. There is a “back seat” but without seatbelts it is not legal to have passengers l. With surround sound the speakers have quality sound that goes all around the car and sound nice. Personally put the car through tough circumstances driving it through dirt rounds in the winter up a mountain and it handled beautifully despite not being made for that at all. Performs best on back roads where speed limit is 30-50 mph. Objectively I would say that the only downsides are there are only two seats but being small can have pros too and the cold weather and the car being particularly electric the battery depletes semi often. Also on some models or maybe all (idk I only had one model) the lights are not automatic and and there will be a beep sometimes if you leave them on when the keys are out but there have been times when it did not and I left the lights on. But all in all the car is quick, fast, stable, and more reliable and sturdy then it seems. Again the handling feels amazing and works wonders in corners. HIGHLY RECOMMEND bang for your buck.

On December 10th, 2024, I purchased a red 2015 Corvette Stingray Convertible 3LT from Country Chevrolet in Warrenton, Virginia. I have purchased 26 new and used cars in my life, and I have to say this was by far the best buying experience I have ever had in my life. My first car was a new 1980 Corvette, and I evolved into planning for my last car to be a red corvette convertible. After much research, lots of shopping, and numerous test drives, I found this car listed on-line at Country Chevrolet at a listed price in the range I was looking for. I called and set up a test Drive for the wife and me. We drove up to the dealership and noticed one or two folks outside who immediately said hi, welcomed us to the dealership and went to get the salesman for our test drive. The environment at this dealership was more welcoming than any Chevy dealership I had ever been to. When Kirk Hughes, our sales consultant introduced himself, we could clearly see we had found at great person to work with. Kirk is friendly, professional, and an absolute expert in corvettes and cars in general. Kirk is by far one of the best salesmen I have ever met. I consider myself a car person, as I enjoy buying, selling and talking about cars. I also perform much of the simple maintenance tasks like changing fluids, brakes and normal maintenance items. Kirk is truly knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to talk to. After being at the dealership for a bit, I bumped into Kevin Bearce, another sales consultant and person we knew. He is another unbelievable friendly professional and a true joy to talk to. With sales folks like Kirk and Kevin, I would recommend Country Chevrolet to any and everyone, as they clearly only hire the best of the best. Kirk had three surprise visits by existing customers during our time shopping, and Kevin jumped in without skipping a beat, to assist in what turned out to be our purchase of the corvette. The finance consultant, J. C. Welch, quickly assisted in finalizing the sale at a price I considered fair. He too was friendly and professional in all. My whole experience at Country Chevrolet was completely different than my previous experiences buying cars. The atmosphere and attitude of the people was friendly, upbeat and caring. 2024 Ford Mustang review
I just purchased the 2024 rapid red turbo. I love the mode change and it has that great sound as you pull away from others. Great take off and smooth ride. The only negative and it is very slight-- it that it is difficult to change the temp, and my Sirus does not have all features. This is my 4th mustang, with my first being the very small box shape. 2018 BMW M2 review
Getting an M2 is an easy decision. The harder part is deciding between an original M2 and a newer M2 Competition. They are both great but very different cars. M2 Competition has more power, but also a lot more weight. It drives like a little M4, The original M2 is much lighter and drives like an early 30's or 40's series M3. As far as the engine, it's not a normal N55, it is a highly modied one, the best N55 ever -- runs and sounds fantastic. Contrast that with the S55 in the M2 Competition, which is the most de-tuned version of that fine engine that you can get. Bottom line -- get an original M2, ideally a 2018 with the updated electronics, lights and dash!

This was my second time purchasing a vehicle through Carmax. My first time, three years ago, was for myself purchasing and exact vehicle I wanted. I called ahead, was able to work through what I wanted, and re-directed to another location that had the exact vehicle I was looking for. No hassling about buying something from their specific location. Great customer service, the car was in excellent condition (as confirmed by the Volvo dealership I had it serviced at subsequently). I still have and love that car. My most recent experience was at Carmax in Madison, WI. I have been searching for a well-maintained used vehicle for my newly-licensed teen. With the used car market spiking, I've been monitoring my searches for months. The perfect vehicle (with everything both my teen wanted and I required from a safety perspective) popped up in New York. For a reasonable fee they were able to put the vehicle on hold and transfer it to my local dealership in WI. I was able to do the financing over the phone in advance of the vehicle's arrival. Once it arrived, I was notified and an appointment set to test drive. The car was exactly as described, in good condition and no hassling or negotiations needed. The prices are reasonable based on current market conditions with a set margin built in. The financing is a little on the high side, but they provide a 3 day window to bring in a check from your own lender so it makes it easy to balance the rate vs convenience (and GAP coverage). I had one issue with the vehicle after getting it home. I contacted the dealership and it was addressed within a half hour. I am absolutely happy with both my experiences at Carmax and would (and have) recommend them for your next vehicle.
2018 Audi S5 review
Love the car only had a coolant pump issue but ever since it's been smooth sailing. The car is gorgeous and incredibly comfortable with beautifully designed interiors. I've drive both the Mercedes c43 Amg and the bmw 340i which I think are this car's competition and I'd still have this as my overall pic.

Plenty of power. Plenty of style. Like the old coke bottle. Curves like a Woman. They are Sexy and also made to enjoy. Too bad the 2023 was the Last Call for the Scat Pack. One of the finest cars ever made. The one with the SRT Package with the leather interior is over the top.

2022 Dodge Challenger review
I absolutely LOVE this car! Mine is the SXT base trim with the Pentastar V6 engine, purchased used at 37,000ish miles, but it is still the best car I’ve ever owned or driven. It is extremely comfortable to sit in (I am 5’10), on par with the comfort of my dad’s old ‘87 Camaro, which was also incredibly comfortable. It’s not a cramped space to sit in and the console is a comfortable arm rest height. But family conscious buyer beware, this isn’t a family friendly car; there’s pretty much no legroom in the back of the car. Maybe if you’re short and very skinny you could fit well, but taller or heavier folks will definitely not fit in the back. I certainly struggled to fit just to pull the seat down to extend the trunk space! The headrests of the backseats are a little tall and don’t let the front seats click back up all the way unless you pull the bucket seats up really far which is a little annoying but as someone who doesn’t lug around much it’s not something I’m really frustrated with. The trunk is super spacious! It rides very smoothly on the absolute garbage roads here in Western Washington (we have some of the worst roads in the US). Still bumpy because the potholes are insane, but smoother than our my parents vehicles and my old car (2011 Kia Soul). The audio controls on the steering wheel are mounted on the back which was odd to me initially but I have quickly adapted to their placement and make use of them a ton with Apple Music. Speaking of music, the base 6 speaker audio system sounds phenomenal as it comes; loud and I can really feel the drums and bass on higher volumes which I love, though I’ll be adding a subwoofer at some point. Let the music play! The engine and transmission run and function well and shifts smoothly in both regular and sport driving mode; I love sport mode, the slight engine sound difference and touchier throttle is fun, but it does reduce fuel efficiency a bit so I don’t use it too terribly much. I do wish the car was fitted with a cat-back exhaust system so it at least has the sound of a muscle car (where’s the allure in a muscle car, particularly one that revives the classics in a modern form, that has a quiet engine?) while retaining the more dependable and fuel efficient motor. That is something I will be saving up to change out, but that’s just me; for many that doesn’t matter, but is something to note if you are an avid lover of classic muscle cars and want to enjoy its allure even if you can’t afford the higher trims with the V8s, I certainly couldn’t; but that’s okay, I still cherish this car and appreciate the reliability of the V6 as a lower income individual. One thing I really don’t like (but chose to live with as I love the car to death otherwise) is that a lot of the climate control features are “locked” behind the infotainment screen; making it a big distraction and hassle to change between max or regular air conditioning and the which fans are blowing. The only buttons for it is a dial for fan strength, an off switch, an auto button, defrosters, and the AC on/off button. The USB and aux plug ins are inside the console, which is kind of awkward, but I actually like that as it makes you put your phone in the console (unless you have a long cord, mine is coiled) which prevents it from being a distraction. There is a moderate blind spot, but it is easily corrected with *properly* angled side mirrors. All in all I love this car and couldn’t recommend it more than I do. I plan to try to make this last the rest of my life in the best shape possible. It’s Mopar or no car! 🚗
