Porsche Fairfield review
I spent many months looking for a 2017 Porsche Cayenne. After 4-5 months I came across a 2017 Cayenne S E -Hybrid, Black, loaded at Porsche Fairfield CT. I hesitated to contact them since they were 2 1/2 hrs from where I live. I finally reached out and Mark Ward-Willis contacted me. We talked over the next several days about the car and about my trade. He gave me a quote for my trade, and we discussed a few things I would want cleaned up on the Cayenne. Mark promised he would take care of it, and promised that they would not give me any less for my tade then we discussed. We agreed on a price for the Cayenne and we agreed on a date for me to drive up and purchase the car. Due to a pending tropical storm and then a funeral, I had to move the date out a few days. Mark was very accommodating. He couldn't had been more flexible. When we arrived at the dealership, my wife and I met Mark. He told us to take the car for a ride as long as we liked. After the ride I pointed out a couple of cosmetic things and Mark quickly took care of it. While Mark did that, we sat down with Tony to sign the paperwork. Tony was a great guy also with a great personality. Both Mark and Tony were very sincere. They did not try to back off from anything we had agreed on. I was worried about that since I was travelling from a distance. Since the purchase, Mark has followed up with me several times to see how things were going. I really appreciated it, since it gave me a chance to ask some post purchase questions. I would not hesitate again to purchase a car from Mark and Porsche Fairfield and as a matter of fact, they would be one of my first stops.
2016 Porsche Cayman review
My GT4 is the most fun car I’ve ever owned, and I’ve had multiple BMW ‘M’ cars. As someone else mentioned, not a drag car although 4.1 secs 0-60 is no slouch. It revels in cornering, I’ve often said “I’ve never met a corner I couldn’t go around faster the next time”! I’m 6’5” and apart from being a contortionist getting in and out, it’s dry comfortable for me once sitting in the carbon fiber buckets.

2018 BMW M2 review
Getting an M2 is an easy decision. The harder part is deciding between an original M2 and a newer M2 Competition. They are both great but very different cars. M2 Competition has more power, but also a lot more weight. It drives like a little M4, The original M2 is much lighter and drives like an early 30's or 40's series M3. As far as the engine, it's not a normal N55, it is a highly modied one, the best N55 ever -- runs and sounds fantastic. Contrast that with the S55 in the M2 Competition, which is the most de-tuned version of that fine engine that you can get. Bottom line -- get an original M2, ideally a 2018 with the updated electronics, lights and dash!

2019 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT review
What a treat to drive the GT! The car’s distinctive styling is actually eclipsed by its performance. The acceleration is extremely responsive, it corners as flat as a board and it’s growl is intoxicating. Through the years I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to own several world-class vehicles but this one is, by far, my favorite and the most fun to drive. Unfortunately, after a back injury at age 68, it’s time for me to grow up and start acting my age so my loss is your gain. You won’t be disappointed; this little beauty is a gem and if you appreciate great engineering like I do, it’s worth every penny.

2024 BMW M2 review
Wow. After reading negative comments concerning weight and the front end, I was unsure while waiting for the car that I would like it. It’s an amazing beast, and better than I expected. Weight gains in part are due to stiffening braces in the rear sides and under the car. Yes, it’s a bit heavy, but the lack of flex more than pays you back. The front end with the rectangular intakes has a purpose. This car needs a lot of air intake for cooling. Behind the rectangular intakes a coolers which need air. This car is well behaved when it needs to be, and complies with daily driving, yet when you want to play, it responds well. I feel this is the total package at an affordable price. The only place I feel could have been a bit better is road feedback through the steering wheel.

2026 BMW M240 review
I shopped for this car for a very long time after researching online & test driving several at different dealerships. I had read great things about the B58 powertrain & as an enthusiast since my 1st BMW, a 2002tii manual to my last, a 2009 Z4 3.5i, wanted to try a newer generation. The car had a lot to live up to after owning 2 recent Porsche 991.2 911s and 2 Audi S5 as daily drivers. Only having this Vrgas Red M240i Xdrive less than a week, I'm not fully sold on the build as a great choice. My initial biggest disappointment & gripe is the $800s on my build for Carbon Fiber trim. I had passed on several other choices in build because I loved the CF in my S5s & was willing to wait for the option in my choice. Well, to my unpleasant surprise, driving the car in bright sun, the trim was nothing but CF look tape or decal. I was willing to pass on leather seats at $1,500 for an option that was nothing more than a deceptive, cheap-out wrap or laminated plastic. CF is a material. This was nothing but a simulated look. The rest of the interior follows suit. Not premium like my S5s or 911s were. At this price point, I can understand the downgrade. Fake trim at $800 In can't. On the positive side, the performance is what I expected. Wonderful power & decent handling for a very overweight sports coupe. Minimal turbo lag. The looks have grown on me. I ordered a more aesthetic trunk spoiler & plan to put on quad exhaust tips for some added flair. No other mods planned in ther near future. I give the overall experience a 9. I've had to tune an S5 manual supercharged coupe to get this power.

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray review
On December 10th, 2024, I purchased a red 2015 Corvette Stingray Convertible 3LT from Country Chevrolet in Warrenton, Virginia. I have purchased 26 new and used cars in my life, and I have to say this was by far the best buying experience I have ever had in my life. My first car was a new 1980 Corvette, and I evolved into planning for my last car to be a red corvette convertible. After much research, lots of shopping, and numerous test drives, I found this car listed on-line at Country Chevrolet at a listed price in the range I was looking for. I called and set up a test Drive for the wife and me. We drove up to the dealership and noticed one or two folks outside who immediately said hi, welcomed us to the dealership and went to get the salesman for our test drive. The environment at this dealership was more welcoming than any Chevy dealership I had ever been to. When Kirk Hughes, our sales consultant introduced himself, we could clearly see we had found at great person to work with. Kirk is friendly, professional, and an absolute expert in corvettes and cars in general. Kirk is by far one of the best salesmen I have ever met. I consider myself a car person, as I enjoy buying, selling and talking about cars. I also perform much of the simple maintenance tasks like changing fluids, brakes and normal maintenance items. Kirk is truly knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to talk to. After being at the dealership for a bit, I bumped into Kevin Bearce, another sales consultant and person we knew. He is another unbelievable friendly professional and a true joy to talk to. With sales folks like Kirk and Kevin, I would recommend Country Chevrolet to any and everyone, as they clearly only hire the best of the best. Kirk had three surprise visits by existing customers during our time shopping, and Kevin jumped in without skipping a beat, to assist in what turned out to be our purchase of the corvette. The finance consultant, J. C. Welch, quickly assisted in finalizing the sale at a price I considered fair. He too was friendly and professional in all. My whole experience at Country Chevrolet was completely different than my previous experiences buying cars. The atmosphere and attitude of the people was friendly, upbeat and caring. This tells me that the management and ownership of this dealership sets high standards for their people, and the result is great buying experience for a customer like me. Very dependable car economical easy to run. Just a couple of blind spots when you're driving. Adjusting side mirrors helps with this. Great on gas however the low profile rims make tire replacement very expensive.

2017 Ford Shelby GT350 review
Overall, if you're looking for a step above any Mustang, this is it. But you have to understand what you're buying. The 5.2 Voodoo engine is an engineering masterpiece, no other Ford engine sounds close to it. It is a review happy engine, but you need to put your head in that of a racing driver, not a regular commuter. Oil level, temperature and pressure are all items that need to be checked prior to ringing out this motor for all its goodness. The suspension is harsh compared to a typical Mustang, but it's liveable. These cars were only offered in a 6 speed manual, so that "automatically" removes it from many people's lists. All in all, it's a driver's car, it's special and if you understand that and get the chance to drive one, you won't be sorry.

2005 Pontiac GTO review
So September 20th 2025 I finally bought my dream car 2005 gto impulse blue with the blue seats with only 28500 miles on it. It has a stage 2 cam 243 ported heads long tube headers full cat back bora exhaust, ported throttle body, drag bags 18inch after market rims and brand new tires voolant cool intake 220 degrees thermostat. Its so freaking fast like 4 real the recipe for work was 10k thats without rims and tires. Its basically 500 hp I live in Chicago and had it shipped from Oregon. No rust even on under carriage paid $23500 out right 2k to ship and $2200 for tax title and plates so total $27500. I wouldn't take it back for nothing! It holds its valve very well and will only go up. Its not my daily driver either just my fun car i use when I want just not in the snow lol.
