2024 Toyota GR86 review
Most fun you can have in an affordable two door sports car. It corners and brakes like a go-cart. Acceleration is better than I expected and running through the gears (manual trans) is exhilarating. Fun, joy are words that come to mind. Always puts a smile on my face.

I had the pleasure of purchasing a pre-owned classic Ferrari from the team at McLaren Boston, working primarily with Jonathan, Bob, and Corbin through the various phases of the deal. They are consummate professionals, and will go to great lengths to make a customer happy, as they did for me. Jonathan's assessment and description of the car over the phone and through email was accurate and honest, and the car presented better than expected upon seeing the car at their facility in person. Speaking with Corbin at length on their shop floor, it is evident that his expertise extends far beyond the realm of late model exotics, and is backed by contacts and experience with some of the finest classic and exotic names in the northeast. Negotiation on price and terms was a breath of fresh air. Very straight forward, and resolved within a matter of minutes without pretense to very fair terms, having been searching in the market for the past year with a more intensive focus the past six months. Jonathan also put forth the extra effort to locate and secure some invaluable original documents and historic records for the car, which was a most welcome surprise on the day that we closed the deal after a successful PPI. Bob made the deal easy, quick, handling all aspects proactively. To all of them, that I am thankful. I wish the McLaren Boston group much success in the coming years.

2025 AMG GT63, just over 500 miles so far and really love the beast. to put in perspective: purchased three e63s in the past and this is my fourth AMG. Switched over from M3s and M5s… drove 55 before deciding on 63. 55 lacks that mighty M177 pull in my opinion… so far, happy with my decision, GT63 is outstanding from every point of view. not a daily driver, likely the “garage queen ”, however finding every excuse to get behind the wheel!

2010 Scion tC review
I just bought this vehicle from its original owner in 2022! It has 101,000 miles and is in incredible condition. My mechanic was surprised and said he thought it looked like it was in REALLY good condition. I have done 3 road trips now over 1,000 miles each one and let me tell you this car is reliable! My German shepherd has a ton of extra room with the back seats laid down, my big dog loves this car. Reliable, fuel efficient 30mpg freeway and overall comfort is amazing. It is surprisingly has low road noise and that shocked me being a coupe I thought it would be louder on highway speeds. If you can find one today with under 200k miles for under 4k it’s a great deal! I got mine for 2,400!!!!

2019 Subaru BRZ review
I own the manual transmission and I've driven the automatic transmission. Both setups are amazing. A very lightweight sports car with incredible handling, great fuel economy, and very inexpensive to maintain. If a do-it-yourselfer buys this car, the one difficult challenge with maintenance is the removal of the 4 spark plugs. It has a boxer engine so the spark plugs mount at the side of the engine which may be difficult to get to. It has a somewhat usable back seat, I've had family and friends sit in the back and it's tight but can be managed. I also have two baby seats mounted in the back which fit perfectly. The interior size is very close to a Porsche 911 for reference. And that's basically what this car is, a budget-friendly Porsche 911. Out of the 5 sports cars that I have owned the BRZ/FRS has be the best. Better than my 2 mustangs, BMW 335i, Camero, and a 996 Porsche 911. Although it has less horsepower than all of those cars, The handling, light weightiness, and the driving characteritics more than makeup for it. I plan on keeping mine for life.

2007 Jaguar XKR review
My only reasons I sold mine was 1st. The restricted performance mode. No other American made supercharged car has this idiotic and dangerous mode. 2nd. The dealers rip you off for parts purchases. I needed a new engine start button. $210.00? For a plastic button likely made in china for 35c.

2012 Volvo C30 review
My first car was a Renault Clio Bebop, followed by a Peugeot 106 rally car, then an Alfa 145 and then I met this C30 guy in 2009. I loved it. Then I bought a C30 again in 2012, with a nicer design, the EcoDrive. I still have this and it's been 10 years. It brings together everything I like in a car: safety, stability, resistance and beautiful design. It is a shame that so much damage has been suffered in the workshops that represent Volvo – Santogal in Portugal. There it was damaged in several ways, and in the last inspection, a few days ago, they did several things to it, namely: they filled the coolant tank too much (1 finger over the maximum), they cleaned the air conditioning system and at the time removing the grille. which is near the front glass, they broke a fitting and on the same side they lost a screw, that is, this grille is only fixed on the left side, on the right side it is loose. They discovered that the inner bellows was broken and for this reason they wanted to replace both steering arms. I know that to change this bellows you have to disassemble many things, it is a lot of work, but saying that “there is considerable clearance in the suspension arms” to justify changing the right and left arms seems too much to me, especially when I go for the mandatory inspection to request an evaluation of this clearance and verify that there is no clearance, they confirmed that the internal bellows is broken but found no clearance in the suspension arms. In the past they have damaged the rims mainly because Volvo wheel nuts are really challenging as they are one of the few brands that insist on making a capped nut that is sealed to look better but eventually comes loose. . When they loosen, they cannot be released easily and that is why they do it by hammering. Over time the paint wears off and now I have wheels that are a shame. In addition to all this, the C30 for me is a fantastic car with extraordinary features. On the home/work route it consumes 5.4, which is great, and in the city it consumes more, staying at 7.2. However, in addition to being a pleasure to drive this car, because we feel that we are in a safe car, it drives quite well and responds very well in situations where we need engine and power. The engine is a known and proven engine (Peugeot 307) and as such presents no problems in this regard. The exterior design for me remains one of the most beautiful. When the car is well washed (mine is silver) it looks beautiful and has an aggressive look, naughty I would say! :) It's lovely. It's a shame they ended this model. I won't let go of mine. Thanks to him our insurance company covered the cost of the repairs. We have never seen such exceptional customer care and professionalism, especially when dealing with a difficult insurance company. We are absolutely blown away by Nick’s dedication to his work and his commitment to his customers. We only wish there were more people as proud and passionate about doing an excellent job as Nick is.
2026 BMW M2 review
I've had a 2015 and 2018 M4. I loved the M4. I've had the 2026 M2 now for 3 months. I like the handling better. Although smaller, it feels sportier with plenty of head room inside. The back seats are there but really only young kids will have enough room. I certainly didn't by this car to have anyone in the back seat and never had anyone in the back of my M4's either. I love this car with the Alcantara steering wheel, red and blue seat highlights, and Sky Scraper color. I've added a graphite spoiler in the rear, changed the DRL lights to yellow and added after market lights with M Performance showing on the ground when opening the doors. The difference b/t the M4 and M2 is huge. The M2 is fast at around 3.7-8 0 to 60. The M2 is a bargain. My full MSRP was $78,600 and loaded.

2013 MINI Coupe review
I actually own 2 MINI Coupe models, and absolutely love driving them both. These cars emphasize FUN! The steering and road handling is tight (not at all “squirrelly”) The agility is similar to a “Go Kart” making it a pure joy to drive. Although it is the most mini of the MINI, this coupe delivers ENORMOUS FUN! The model has been discontinued, which makes the car very unique, rare and perhaps collectible.

2019 Aston Martin Vantage review
One of the best looking cars on the road, after my 911 this thing is a lot more fun on the road. The engine is very reliable because it came from the Mercedes GT. Owning an Aston Martin Vantage was already special, but after getting it tuned by ecm tuner, the car became a whole new beast. The throttle response is instant, the power delivery is insane.

I bought my Fj cruiser 13 months ago. It was a great experience, from start to finish. Medi was great to deal with, worked with me to get me into the car. Connie was amazing with getting my financing in place. The whole process was quick and painless, which was unexpected, I was even able to drive it home the same day. The car is a beautiful bright red FJ, 2012 Trail teams edition, with 55k miles on it, and it still looks brand new. It is the best car I have ever owned, new or used. It has had no issues at all and runs like a dream. The 4x4 worked extremely well in the snow and on the beach this year. I would def recommend this dealership. A side note, A friend bought a 2011 FJ with 20,000 less miles, from a DIFFERENT dealership, for the same money, 1 month before I bought this, in comparing the undercarriages, hers has a concerning amount of rust, mine has almost none. Medi definitely goes for quality and has pride in the cars he sells. I would def work with Auto excellence group again.
2017 Acura NSX review
This car is eye-catchingly beautiful and attracts attention wherever I drive it. It is also blazingly fast as confirmed with a recent 170+ mph blast around the road course at Daytona International Speedway. Even at such elevated speeds, it is extremely confidence-inspiring with rock solid stability and directional control. On top of all that, it is quite comfortable and maintenance is reasonable for an exotic car. It is also Honda reliable! The interior is well laid out and attractive. For a car that sits as low as this one, it has good headroom (I am 6' 1"). The seats are supportive without being intrusive. On the track, one gets the lateral support needed, but never with any discomfort. My only beef with the interior is the controls for the audio system. They are not user friendly, even though they would be familiar to most Acura owners. The flip side is that the (upgraded) sound system is very good--once you figure out how to turn it on and select what you want to hear. The carbon-ceramic brakes are simply phenomenal. At Daytona, I was braking from over 160 mph before the chicane and the car always stayed where I pointed it with no wiggles. It did not seem possible to make them fade--in fact they performed better when they warmed up. This car makes no pretense about being a family car. It a true exotic sports car and notwithstanding its excellent interior comfort, it is very much performance focused. Cost effectiveness is pretty much dependent on one's perspective and purpose in owning such a vehicle. It actually gets decent mileage when driven "normally." I get between 23 and 25 mpg on the highway. This goes down to 6 mpg on the track! While I loved my 1991 NSX, this car is in a different league and I can't see myself selling it even though I could do so at a profit.
