2005 Dodge Ram 2500 review
I have 411,988 miles in my 2005 dodge ram Laramie 4x4 6 speed Cummins diesel.. For an 05 it’s unusually loaded… power leather heated seats factory moonroof factory blue tooth navigation … I don’t know of any option not ordered. This truck runs and drives absolutely amazingly. Only second clutch second set of injectors.Original fuel delivery offers no issues … I service myself with only the best OEM or better parts .Custom dual exhaust sounds awesome…Id drive it anywhere anytime.Have 411k in this and 352k on my 2004 Hemi ram…. I call them my Semi and my Hemi…750,000 miles between the 2 and both original drivetrains…. Love it when people say Japanese cars are the best… I say look at my 2 Dodge odometers!!!

2006 Dodge Ram 2500 review
I bought the 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT Mega Cab Diesel Heavy Duty as a dealer demo with 8,000 miles on it. Didn't need a mega cab but needed to replace my 1996 so they offered it to me for a deal I couldn't refuse. I have to say, it's a monster and I love it! Have had minimal issues other than the ECM going out at 110,000 miles and Dodge wouldn't warranty it. It tows anything I hook up to and with diesel prices in CA, I can brag about 17 to 21 mph around town and 27 to 30 on hi ways. Towing can cut mpg in about half, if you get stuck in slow lane up a grade, but still, who can boast about that with 195k miles on it today. I agree with the reviews on parking and turn ratio but I can back it in easier than doing a 3 point pull in at any parking lot. How's that for lady with a big truck!!

2003 Dodge Ram 2500 review
The newer cummins 6.7l diesels have a variable turbocharger, which is not as reliable. They are also strangled by extensive pollution devices including DEF fluid. These modern additions do NOT add to reliability and most definitely negatively affect fuel economy. This truck and engine combination will run forever.

2003 Dodge Ram 2500 review
I purchased my truck new on Dec 31, 2002. It is an 03 crew cab, short box, Cummins HO, 6 speed manual. I still own it today with 315,000 miles very few repairs, oil change every 5K, 3 front end rebuilds, one water pump, a fan clutch, a new drivers seat pad and bottom cover, and a steering gear box. Surprisingly enough, I still have factory injectors. Absolutely the best truck I have ever owned BY FAR. Still gets up to 27 MPG and can pull just about anything you hook onto it. still looks new inside and out. I recently converted it to a dually to make it even more stable pulling my fifth wheel. Seems to be worth more today than what I paid for it 20 years ago.

Drove from California to Arkansas pulling heave xxx 39 foot enclosed trailer has plenty of power tow /haul and engine brake excellent for slowing it down quick 105000 miles it squeaks on front end embarking for such a beautiful truck wd and hitting all zeros with fresh lube did nothing dodge. Should repair for free all Bush I ngs ans ball joints good inn er tie rods worn other than that it walks all over Ford super duty and gets 28mpg when not pulling a trailer

2006 Dodge Ram 2500 review
I've owned it since 2006, 18 years and 5.9 is still bomb proof at 210K. I rebuilt and strengthen the transmission at 160K besides that I've had no issues besides wear and tear that was expected. New ball joints at 120k, new shocks every 80k. This truck won't let you down.

I bought this RAM brand new and its first task, after a 1000 mile break in, was to tow my 10,000 lb boat (270 Sea Ray + triple axle trailer) from Portland Oregon to Boston, MA. It was a perfect break in for the new 5.9L Cummins engine. But I don't just tow my boat. I use this truck as a daily driver (60 daily commute) + weekend warrior. On the weekends, we (wife and I) explore New England. I have been 4 wheeling in NH and ME while carrying two kayaks. It's runs great in the snow, mud, rocks and even on snowmobile roads. (That was unintentional - we found ourselves on a snowmobile trail by accident. But the 35 inch wheels got us out with no problem). BTW - I put 35 inch wheels on by only adding a 2.5 in leveler to the front end. No lift needed. Had to replace the transmission at about 125K, but had a local guy put in a bomber transmission. He custom builds transmissions for Truck Pulls. I did learn that Diesel fuel does gel in cold temps. We went skiing in NH and stayed in a hotel. I did not plug in the truck that night, but even if I did, it would not have mattered. It got down to -23F that night and then next morning the fuel in the truck was totally frozen. After working with AAA for an half hour we concluded that the cold temps fully gelled my fuel and while the product (Diesel 911) can de-gel the fuel in the tank, the fuel filer was still fully frozen. Had the truck towed (100 mi) back home. Put it in a garage for 2 days and it started without a problem. Now I treat the fuel whenever the temps drop below 32F. Best truck I have ever owned. They do salt the roads in the winter in New England, so I undercoat the truck with Fluid Film every year to prevent corrosion. I trust this truck will get me anywhere, anytime and in any temps. I plan to keep this truck for the rest of my life. That 5.9L Cummins will likely outlive me.

2010 Dodge Ram 2500 review
Truck has 37" tires and handles the road great. Pulls my 38' trailer with no problem. Comfortable and sounds great. I would recommend this truck to anyone that wants the comfort with the strong pulling power this hemi has.

2007 Dodge Ram 2500 review
Bought the truck for the 5.9 Cummins motor and its sound. I am very pleased with the truck. bought a 2007 with 93K miles on it in 2021, body was mint, Florida truck, no rust. I am pleased with it so far, only minor issues and ones I can repair in my home garage.
