I was interested in a Nissan NV 2500. Viewing several of these vehicles on cars.com and other sites. I decided to make the trip to Trust Auto in Maryland from West Virginia. About a 4 1/2 hour trip. I had talked to David on the phone to make sure the Nissan was still available and explained when I could be there to look over the vehicle. We made the trip in good time only running into one delay. Upon meeting David he brought the vehicle up to the front of the dealership and told us to inspect it, which is what we did. I had two top mechanic with me. While we knew the vehicle had been in an accident, the repair work was very well done on found a few bolts missing. One in the valance and the other from the inner fender. This could have been from the accident or just from being a service vehicle. A little over 94,000 miles on it. The detail shop did a great job on their work. Very chean for sure. After running the computer test, we took the Nissan NV for a test drive. It did not disappoint. Extremely happy with everything we saw and felt during the test drive. Steering was solid and tracked well. No pull to either side while driving. Throttle response was perfect as well as the braking system. The comfort of the Nissan NV was Avery pleasant surprise. The ride was almost as good as my Lincoln MKZ, almost.😎 Much like a 2006 GMC dually I had in 2007. Very nice. When returning to the dealership myself and the two mechanics talked things over and decided to go to the next step. After a little negotiation we settled on a fair price and made the purchase. David was very kind to us and I feel like we got a great deal. We finished the paperwork and was ready to leave but we were blocked in by another vehicle. I backed back into the parking spot when one of the ladies that worked there said she would move the vehicle so we could be on our way. She came back within a few minutes moved the vehicle and with a big beautiful smile waved goodbye to us as we left. That truly made my day😇. Trust Auto in my opinion is a great dealership and when I need another vehicle, they will be the first ones I will go to. 2026 Toyota bZ review
Toyota decided to get serious with their electric compact suv over their earlier version. Lowered the price making it competitive with all others in this class. Also making it now competitive is the increase in driving range, the XLE AWD model gets a significant boost with a 288 mile range. In addition the horsepower on the XLE AWD increased to 338 providing 0-60 in the middle 4 second range… that’s head snapping power. Also, major improvements were addressed to the charging system… now able to charge significantly faster and it comes using the NACS (North American Charging Standard) outlet connection for faster charging ( (originally called the Tesla charging connection). I personally enjoy driving the bZ around town but also on major roads. It runs quietly as an electric should but also isolates road noise. The instrument panel is different but coming from driving my plug in hybrid Prius Prime I’m used to different. I trust Toyota overall quality over all other manufacturers whether the vehicle is a traditional combustible gas engine or now electric.

2024 Cadillac LYRIQ review
It’s really a pretty great car. For the price, the car is quite luxurious and well-made. I had a glitch or two when I first got it, but they were quickly resolved and have had no further problems over my first year of ownership. The car is smooth, quiet, very powerful and quick. I’ve been getting close to 3 miles per kilowatt hour over the long haul using the regenerative braking system. There is a little adjustment to drive an EV over a gas engine car, but the advantages are easily stated such as the smooth power and low maintenance required. The lower range is an issue for long trips, but if you’re not in a real hurry, the stops to charge can be quite pleasant. That said, my wife and I usually use her hybrid Lexus when we go road tripping as it is just more comfortable as it is what we are used to. Kudos to Cadillac for a job well done.

2023 Chevrolet Bolt EV review
Purchased a used 2023 Chevy Bolt EV a couple months ago, and so far have been very happy with it. I will talk about what I think are cons first. Not happy with the lack of safety features that most vehicles have as standard features. No BSM, no yellow warnings of vehicles in blind spots or warning sounds. No back up warnings. Visibility is taking time to get use to. Mirrors are too small. Visors are too small to block sunlight. Interior is cheap, storage spaces a lacking, glove box dumps stuff out when you open it. Pros:. The selling point of the vehicle is the savings in fuel economy. It is a relatively small SUV electric vehicle, with a good battery that will take you 250 miles on a full charge. I have been averaging 4.4 miles/kw. My electric rate is 10.6 cents a kw. It only costs me $6 to drive that 250 miles. That's about the price for a gallon of gasoline in some places around here. Car is fast and can pass another vehicle very quickly. Ride is comfortable and smooth. One peddle works great and I get better numbers around town. I'm estimating this little EV will save me about $2500 a year and fuel costs. I have a charger installed in my garage. The key to taking advantage of the savings of any EV is to charge at home. Charge overnight. Love this little car.

2024 Subaru Solterra review
Great car if you don't go on long trips. Half an hour to and from work needs charging once a week with a regular 120 volt outlet. If you drive more, plug it in every night. Or get a 240 volt outlet and charge it twice as fast. In the winter, the range is less because we like the seats and steering wheel nice and warm. The regenerative break mode doesn't take much getting use to and saves wear on the mechanical breaks. We love everything about this car.

Service I wasn't able to have my car serviced at Westminster because my work location chanced to Hagerstown. I tried to have it serviced at the Hagarstown Kia. Hagarstown Kia acted like I was putting me out and I wasn't able to schedule anything. So I had to go across the street to Nissan where I used to get my car service done, they got me right in.

Just had the car for a month. It's much like its predecessor, the bz4x but gets better range, at 90% from 230 to 275. It rides smoothly and a bit less noisy than the 4x. I'm very happy with it.

2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV review
Performance is amazing...instant acceleration to 60mph. The controls require a steep learning curve. Still trying to figure all the icons out. Could be much easier if they actually allowed several screens to access the same control where the definition easily fits in more than one place...so we don't have to search to find it. Charging time on 120 is unacceptable. 56 hours to charge up from 20%.

2026 Dodge Charger review
The Charger is pretty comfortable with high grade materials and large passenger seating. The backseat can actually be used by adults which is impressive in a sports coupe. In my opinion this is not a sports car. Rather Gran Turismo (GT). It’s extremely quick and will get over posted speed limits in a few seconds. The Charger is full of high tech which we’ll see how they hold up with the years. But for now everything works as it should and very well. One big hiccup for me is the exhaust sound which is extremely raspy and tin canny. But this growing on me and don’t mind it as much. I couldn’t expect a V8 note out of a twin turbo straight six.

2026 Chevrolet Blazer EV review
2026 Chevy Blazer EV is as reliable as my 2018 Chevy Colorado, never give me any hiccup. Blazer is superior than my 2020 Chevy Bolt EV in performance as well as the looks. I recommend every red blooded American to give this car a test drive and you will be blasted by it's performance. I love the regenerative braking feature that I barely use my brake and saving the brake pads as well as the environment. Especially in this high price gasoline world today.

2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E review
I recently purchased a 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT, and it delivers exactly what I was looking for—performance, style, and modern innovation in one package. The acceleration is immediate and strong. The instant torque gives it a powerful launch, and the responsiveness makes every drive feel engaging. Whether merging onto the highway or navigating city streets, the Mach-E feels quick, controlled, and confident. Handling is solid, and the ride is smooth without sacrificing that sporty feel. It carries the Mustang character well, just in an electric form. The design also stands out—especially in classic Mustang blue—with a bold, athletic presence that turns heads. Inside, the technology is a major upgrade. The infotainment system is clean and intuitive, and the cabin feels modern and comfortable with premium touches throughout. I’ve driven other EVs like the Tesla Model S Plaid, Rivian R1T, and Nissan Leaf, and each has its strengths, but the Mach-E strikes the best balance between performance and everyday usability. Range has been reliable for my needs, and I’m already seeing savings compared to gas. Like any EV, charging takes some planning for longer trips, but it becomes second nature quickly. Overall, I’m very satisfied. The Mach-E GT is fast, stylish, and fun to drive—exactly what an electric performance vehicle should be.

2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E review
My first EV car. Not sure if I love this car or the fact that it is an EV. What makes this a bit different from a Tesla is that it still reminds you of a regular car in terms of gear shifting controls and displays. My car is a premium trim, dual motor and long range battery extension, so if you get a lower trim, the experience might be slightly different.

2024 GMC HUMMER EV SUV review
