2024 BMW iX review
Purchased CPO 2024 and got a great deal so I didn’t pay the new car price, but WHAT A CAR! Best EV IMO but I love driving it. It’s a unique car. I initially disliked the front grill, but what’s cool is the self-healing aspect so no chips. Gets great range, and the assist pro driving is incredible. I only wish it had paddle shifters, fog lights, and handles above the door. Of course it’s overengineered as BMWs are, but it’s a great daily driver and road trip worthy. Two months in and no regrets.

2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV review
My first EV and so far so good. There is a common issue with the manual charger release that is under warranty but should probably be a recall of it’s a known issue as GM has said. Other than that the vehicle has been great and the range is really good.

2023 Tesla Model 3 review
Got the 2023 standards model 3 and it far exceeds any other car, especially ICE. Every single car I will own from here on out will be a Tesla. The other ev brands can't compete. Will also get the Rivian R1S, that is the only other brand I would consider. Don't buy an EV from a company that also makes gas cars unless you like throwing away $.

I purchased a used Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG from the Carmax in Costa Mesa, CA about a month ago. I started out by calling the Carmax and reaching a sales agent. She worked with me by setting aside the car so that I could fly down to pick it up. She picked me up from the airport about 15 miles away from their dealership. When I saw the car, I found some minor cosmetic issues with the car and Carmax assured me that they would repair them at my local Carmax in Roseville, CA. I will be writing a review about that Carmax as well. They issued me a form stating repairs to be done at my local dealership. I informed the salesperson that I would be pushing the car a bit and she was fine with it. After the test drive, the car seemed to be in great condition, so we headed in for the paperwork. The appearance inside of the dealership building did not convey a welcoming feeling though. It felt like a warehouse with desks in it. The people within the building were nice and friendly though. The paperwork was pretty quick as I already had a loan check from the credit union. It took about 30 minutes and then I was on my way. Overall, I would say the experience was positive.
2022 Nissan Leaf review
After owning many Nissan LEAFs over the years (Canadians kept buying them from me), the newer body style in 2018 release was a total winner. Better looking and the ride is definitely more refined, and our 2022 is flawless. These cars are the best kept secret in motoring. They are a HUGE value, and would be a great only car, but in almost all instances, the PERFECT second vehicle. They cost almost nothing to drive and maintain, and the insurance is also very reasonable.

2022 Tesla Model Y review
This is the best car I have ever owned. Over the years I have owned many luxury cars and by far my Tesla Model Y is better than all of them. I have had the car for 2 years now and I never had any issues with the car. Very reliable, fast, and love the auto pilot. The handling is amazing and very quiet. Love the minimalistic interior. I don’t understand why other car maker put 100s of buttons in the dashboard. Love the screen and it’s user friendly.

2025 Tesla Model 3 review
I have a 2025 model 3 performance bought new and no has 13k miles. Car has superior acceleration above and beyond gas cars and is quiet and smooth. Sound system is above average and once you learn the touchscreen system it's a breeze. App for Tesla outperforms all other car companies and camera system is great. Range is dependent on driving habits. The more speed the less range. Self driving is great as well. It is not perfect but really relieves stress during congestive traffic and road trips. During my ownership I had a rattle in the passenger door witch was fixed under warranty. Car's paint seems a little thin but acceptable. Interior is minimalistic but overall quality is good. Charging is easy if you charge at home and saves money overall. One on road trips as long as you listen to the GPS and trip planner you'll never have an issue with range. This is my second electric vehicle and Tesla is far superior than the first one I owned.

2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E review
I recently purchased a 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT, and it delivers exactly what I was looking for—performance, style, and modern innovation in one package. The acceleration is immediate and strong. The instant torque gives it a powerful launch, and the responsiveness makes every drive feel engaging. Whether merging onto the highway or navigating city streets, the Mach-E feels quick, controlled, and confident. Handling is solid, and the ride is smooth without sacrificing that sporty feel. It carries the Mustang character well, just in an electric form. The design also stands out—especially in classic Mustang blue—with a bold, athletic presence that turns heads. Inside, the technology is a major upgrade. The infotainment system is clean and intuitive, and the cabin feels modern and comfortable with premium touches throughout. I’ve driven other EVs like the Tesla Model S Plaid, Rivian R1T, and Nissan Leaf, and each has its strengths, but the Mach-E strikes the best balance between performance and everyday usability. Range has been reliable for my needs, and I’m already seeing savings compared to gas. Like any EV, charging takes some planning for longer trips, but it becomes second nature quickly. A lot of the negative reviews on this place are a bit silly. In my experience from this past weekend, if you listen to the salesperson who you are assigned, bring all the documents requested, make appointments, and come fully prepared, you will have an excellent experience just as I did. I placed a 7-day hold on the exact car I wanted, and made an appointment to come test drive it and apply for financing a few days later. I spoke with my salesperson, Jerry Neyland, a few times on the phone before coming in, and he always had the answers I needed. He advised me on what documentation to bring with me, and when I arrived for my test drive appointment Jerry has the car ready for me. We took a quick test drive, I fell in love with the car, and we started the financing application. Since I brought everything we'd need, it was a BREEZE! In total, I was maybe at CarMax for 2 hours maximum. I had been stressing over it all week, only to find out it was all so, so simple. Jerry's customer service is second to none--he was friendly, quick, and understanding. He kept me informed every step of the way, and not once did I feel he was putting pressure on me or trying to "sell" me on anything. CarMax Buena Park gets 5 out of 5 stars for me, and Jerry Neyland gets 6 out of 5 stars! Overall an excellent experience in every regard.
2023 Kia Niro EV review
Performs flawlessly but charging technology is badly designed and takes too long. If Kia had their own chargers like Tesla, that would be better. But they don't.

2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV review
I have had a very positive experience so far. I had some small issues but nothing major. They were fixed fairly quickly by the dealer. The mileage does drop drastically in the winter, but I knew that before purchasing it. It is roomy inside, and drives great.

2024 Tesla Model 3 review
This is easily the best car you can own. I decided to upgrade from a 2021 Tesla to my current Tesla Model 3 in November 2024, a few months after the model was refreshed. Both were amazing cars and blew me away. The 2024 model is extremely class-upgraded and refined over the original. It is easily the most luxurious and tech-forward car in its category. This car is ZIPPY, and it handles amazingly. The self-driving features are absolutely superb and get software updates frequently. This is the best car for road trips around town, honestly, anything you throw at it, it handles. It is so cheap to fill the range back up at home (I keep mine at 80% max unless road-tripping). The convenience alone of this car makes it worth it, but the material quality and luxury feel make it all the more worthwhile. Tesla's audio system is SO GOOD, it rivals the Harman and Bowers & Wilkins on other cars I've driven. The LED ambient lighting is so beautiful and adjustable. Cooled seats are a must on hot summer days, and you can even start them with one button on the app. So beautiful, fun to drive, and intuitive. Could not be happier with my purchase! You won't regret going with a Tesla!

2023 Lexus RZ 450e review
Absolutely love this car! Smooth, quite and just the right size. Beautiful interior and exterior. Some people complain about range but for me this works great. I'm getting between 3.7 and 3.9 kwh and a range of 255. It's a 2023 RZ450e AWD premium with 18 inch wheels. Not the longest range and not the fastest but true quality.

2026 BMW i4 Gran Coupe review
I had casually considered electric cars the last few years and this year took a hard look at electric options, specifically BMW i4 xdrive 40. I couldn't be more pleased with the "electrifing" power of the i4, which seems faster than my two previous M340s. BMW offers the advanatages of an electric vehicle with its trademark high performance and sporty handling. Every friend who has test drove my i4 has been VERY impressed.

I’ve never owned an EV before, so I had a multitude of newbie questions as this is a big transition from Acura MDX. Ever Cars made this easier than expected. Jake, my rep, was really the workhorse though. Jake took notes of everything I said I wanted, but then took it several steps further and brought up features I didn’t even know I needed! I thought Tesla held the title for longest range, until he introduced me to Lucid, which I test drove the 2023 Lucid Air… incredible. I needed some “hand holding” to figure out what I wanted, but Jake did that for me and I’m grateful.
