The whole sales process went rather well. These event for me are always approached with a lot of anxiety. Getting a good price for the purchase and the trade is hard work. In advance I contacted the dealership and explained what I was looking for. He responded in short fashion with a few options to consider. I choose the one that fit my needs. I went off and got a few estimates on my trade in value. We met the following day and in 20 minutes I had what I wanted. They made some money I got a good number for my trade. All that was left was a good rate from a lender. The finance person in similar fashion got a great rate. She had to try a few lenders but in the end the numbers were good. I got the sense that they were not adversaries but we were working towards a common goal. This is my second purchase from this dealership. That’s something I rarely do. I had started with another dealership and the person wouldn’t commit to any price info unless I came on site. For me that’s wasteful. Ashland sheehy didn’t make come onsite until we had agreed in principle on the selling price. Second time here and another good experience. Ask for “Mikey”. Very helpful.

2024 Ford Edge review
2024 is the last year of this two-row SUV. Though it is built on an older design/platform, the Edge is the perfect commuting vehicle. The Edge gets great gas mileage and handles extremely well. The AWD system works well and from past experience with the Edge, we know it handles terrifically in inclement weather. We were able to custom order an SEL with very specific options. We loved that Ford allowed a la carte ordering and we were able to get all the extras we wanted. We are averaging over 30MPG with a couple of thousand miles on the vehicle. The Edge weighs a lot for such a compact crossover, but that’s why we like it safe and hugs the road very well. Plenty of space for a 2-row crossover, offering both excellent passenger comfort and storage capacity. We highly recommend the 2024 Edge to those needing a reliable crossover, a daily commuter, or a safe small family hauler. Consumer Reports absolutely loves this vehicle, and as a 3x owner through the years, I can confirm the reasons why CR loves the Edge. It’s been a great run for the Edge, one of the greatest crossovers ever built.

2024 Ford Edge review
I owned a 2017 Fusion Platinum and did not want to get a SUV. Knowing the Edge was based on the same platform, I gave the 2024 a spin. I was impressed. It drove, handled, braked, and steered very well. I drove many cars, and even though Ford had not redesigned in a while, it was more enjoyable to drive than the Audi Q5 and Lexus RX. I rated the value a 3 because it is expensive. The Titanium Elite price is in the Lexus/Audi ballpark. I really wanted the Audi because I have owned some in the past, but the Edge was more sporty and more comfortable. I drove the ST and I was surprised that it did not feel a lot faster. This wqas the same with the Fusion. You can tell the ST was faster, but it did not jump off the line like I was expecting. I was disappointed the edge lost some equipment from the past as it is being phased out. So I added it. I added the hood insulation, the engine cover, the cargo cover, LED lighted sill plates, and the laminated acoustic glass on the front doors, all purchased from FORD dealers to make sure they were the real deal. I also added the keyless entry keypad (securicode). I was really disappointed they deleted securicode. The interior is not flashy like an Audi, but I like that it is understated. The carmello seat and door inserts make the car very audi-ish and special. It is too bad this is the last year. The Lincoln Nautilus lives on as the next generation in the USA. I can tell it has roots from the Fusion. That is also gone.

2024 Ford Edge review
Extremely pleased with the comfort and ride on my new 2024 Ford Edge Titanium. Have previously owned two Explorers and two Edges. Thought my 2022 Explorer rode very quiet, had lots of power and very comfortable. , but this Edge is significantly better all around than the Explorer. I wish it had intelligent 4 wheel drive with the rear drive primary. I will deal with the AWD version. It handles extremely well with a solid quiet ride and tight turning radius. It has a very large 7x10 touch screen mounted vertically in the middle of the dash. You can control almost every possible setting on this. Totally loaded and worth the extra cost. It is so comfortable we can drive 13-14 hours straight though on our trips to Florida . Drive it, you won’t be disappointed.

Daniel greeted us right away and brought us two bottles of water, then escorted me to the vehicle with my name literally written on a large tag displayed in front of the store. That level of thoughtfulness immediately stood out. Daniel walked me through the exterior features and we began the test drive, during which I was able to test multiple functions and features at my own pace. After returning, he gave me a tour of the dealership and shared the many President’s Awards they’ve earned over the years—clearly well deserved. When it came time to talk numbers, they offered me a great deal. I wasn’t quite ready to commit, but then Joey, the manager, came over and asked if I wanted to drive the car home. I was already seriously considering purchasing it, but that simple act of trust and kindness sealed the deal. I’m almost 50 and a school teacher. The car is safe, but the respect I was shown in that moment was priceless. This dealership truly wants customers to feel confident and satisfied with their purchase, and they work hard to build lasting relationships. I can absolutely see why they win awards year after year. 7 Ford Edges and the 2024 is rock solid yet quiet and great performance. Everyone wants to use the Edge when we go anywhere. The controls are easy to use for non distracted driving. Long road trips are un eventful and tires last forever. Loading space in the rear is flat easy and lots of space. Good visibility and safe.
