2023 Ford Escape review
For those of you that don't like the over reliance on the computer dash for things like the AC.. Ford did not start doing that till mid 2023.. when looking at 2023 models, look carefully at the dashboard. some have a smaller computer screen and the 2 knobs and buttons that regulate the AC. those are the ones you want.. they also are $4-5K cheaper than the models that have the larger screens and no physical AC buttons so win-win.

Nu Car in Tilton wouldn't honor their posted price on Auto Trader and no mention of the dealer incentive, just their version of MSRP.

I recently bought my 2015 Ford Focus here and my husband bought his 2015 Mustang GT a few weeks ago. Doug was our sales person. He worked very hard to get exactly what Ricky wanted. He hung out in the back seat while I test drove my Focus. He highly suggested I go through Ford Motor Credit instead of my credit union and I got 0%!! Basically all the people there are so nice and helpful. Doug wasn't pushy at all with either car. He even bought us each a soda! We will never go anywhere else!! More dealerships need a Doug.

They gave us a very fair price for our eleven-year-old trade-in. Since we keep our cars eight-to-ten years, we opted for an extended warranty. Our time in F & I office was painless. No high pressure. All-in-all, the car buying process was pleasant and fair. I'd recommend Yankee Ford to anyone buying a vehicle. P.S. We forgot to remove our E-ZPass transponder from our trade-in. I went back two days later. The car was still there and a friendly employee - who manages the program where they send some used vehicles to auction - quickly and efficiently retrieved it for us.

2023 Ford Escape review
In December 2023 I bought a new-used 2023 Ford escape with only 1100 miles on it. So it was basically a brand new car, and I got it at a discount because it was used so it was very well worth the money. It’s been an awesome car but I have one complaint: there is way too much reliability on the electronic display. All of the cars systems run through that including the air conditioner!! The problem is, like any computer, it doesn’t always immediately boot up upon starting the car, sometimes it takes a few minutes to get going, and in the meantime you are absolutely burning up! There is no way to turn the air conditioner on via the dashboard!! I simply do not understand why they couldn’t just put simple dials on the dashboard to turn the air conditioner on, As cars have had for many many decades now. It’s really ridiculous. I live in Georgia and it’s 98° and 80% humidity, I need the air conditioner to start blasting as soon as I get in the car! But that’s really my only complaint , it is an awesome car otherwise.

This review is coming from a very satisfied customer of Yankee Ford South Portland The salesman by the name of Chris Solo Shared a good amount of enthusiasm in helping me get the particular vehicle that I needed His manner met the right balance of being very Helpful without being pushy He seemed to be not only happy to serve this particular dealership, but also treated this customer as if he was serving the customer also I appreciated that Modern sales transactions with everything that has to be taken into consideration, can get pretty hairy and complex I have to commend this sales person for being patient ,understanding, and having a positive temperament. as I said, neither too pushy but very helpful The next person that I had to deal with was Matt, who was the sales manager but now serves as finance manager Both sales person and Matt did make me feel like I was part of a family I think that they went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied with the transaction Employee pricing for all was helpful I like keeping things as simple as possible and that was helpful Finally, the establishment itself, even though it seemed pretty busy, was comfortable and lent to a Positive and pleasant experience I would highly recommend this dealership And if the service department is nearly as good as the rest of the establishment, I look forward to having my transit van serviced there That’s about it for now Keep up the good work From this satisfied customer, Frank S
