My experience with Dorrance Ford was not only satisfying, but also refreshing. We had been in the market for a new truck for about six months. We had been unable to find what we were looking for at several other dealerships. If we did find one, the dealership was either, not participating with a discount I have offered through my employer in conjunction with Ford Motor company, or they were tacking on up to $6,000.00 to the MSRP! I was relieved to find that at Dorrance Ford I did not encounter either of those situations. In fact, I was able to afford a truck that was a few steps up from what I had been prepared to buy at another dealership. I dealt with Mike Chamberlin as a salesman, Lewis Lambert in financing, both of whom left me with a measure of gratitude for their integrity, and helpfulness. we have not purchased a new car in about 35 years, so to say we were not accustomed to the practice is an understatement. With the help of Mike and Lewis, we felt very confident, as well as very informed in our decision making. At Dorrance Ford you get their best price the first time, and it will likely be the best price from any other dealers you may be working with. All costs are put forward in the proposed deal, no surprises when you are signing the papers. After the sale we met Bill Dorrance, and Tim Garret in the service department. We felt comfortable after meeting them that the sale of the vehicle was not the end, but the beginning of a good relationship where the dealership as a whole seems to be genuinely determined to make the experience a positive one in every aspect. Go ahead and shop around if you think you need to, but I would not recommend buying a vehicle until you have visited with the the good people down at Dorrance ford. If you end up not buying a vehicle from them at least you will have met some good people who are passionate about doing their job well.
2023 Ford Escape review
My fifth Escape and the best yet. I have the Platinum model and enjoy the many features that have been added. Wish they still are a hard owners manual.

2023 Ford Escape review
For those of you that don't like the over reliance on the computer dash for things like the AC.. Ford did not start doing that till mid 2023.. when looking at 2023 models, look carefully at the dashboard. some have a smaller computer screen and the 2 knobs and buttons that regulate the AC. those are the ones you want.. they also are $4-5K cheaper than the models that have the larger screens and no physical AC buttons so win-win.

2023 Ford Escape review
In December 2023 I bought a new-used 2023 Ford escape with only 1100 miles on it. So it was basically a brand new car, and I got it at a discount because it was used so it was very well worth the money. It’s been an awesome car but I have one complaint: there is way too much reliability on the electronic display. All of the cars systems run through that including the air conditioner!! The problem is, like any computer, it doesn’t always immediately boot up upon starting the car, sometimes it takes a few minutes to get going, and in the meantime you are absolutely burning up! There is no way to turn the air conditioner on via the dashboard!! I simply do not understand why they couldn’t just put simple dials on the dashboard to turn the air conditioner on, As cars have had for many many decades now. It’s really ridiculous. I live in Georgia and it’s 98° and 80% humidity, I need the air conditioner to start blasting as soon as I get in the car! But that’s really my only complaint , it is an awesome car otherwise.

After I dropped off my car the day of my appointment, Igot a ride home with their shuttle service, and then they brought my car to me when they were done. My wife and I were driving our oldest to college for her freshman year from Maryland to Berrien Springs when we realized our 2012 Honda Odyssey's brakes were shot. We were only planning to be in Michigan for about 36 hours and knew we wouldn't make it home without doing something about the brakes. On a whim, I checked the internet for a dealership on the way and found Cambell. I knew we would be pushing it because they closed at 6 and we wouldn't arrive till a little after 5. We pulled into the dealership and Scott met us with a warm Michigan welcome. We told him we were interested in looking at Explorers and he showed us a large selection of really great inventory. Looking at the time I asked him if we could make a deal before they closed. He said absolutely. The team pulled together a great deal, trade and the financing in short order. We transferred all my daughters college bound belongings and we were on our way. Buying cars is not something I enjoy but our experience at Campell turned out to be one.
