2017 Ford Escape SE Review
Two years no problems year then....
by Silvy from East Meadow NY

I’ve leased my 2017 Escape for two years now. The only problems I had with it were a remote key fob that didn’t work. At the two and a half year mark at 14,000 miles the check engine light comes on. Code reading shows a bad coil in the no. One cylinder. Dealer fixed it. Four days later light on again this time it’s the number 4 cylinder. Good no more problems
i like the car but the eco engine is woefully underpowered. Takes Forever to get it going. Space is good and I wish I had gotten the sync 3 entertainment system but sync is ok
All in all it’s nit bad but to make it better you have go go up in trim and of course price
I will not purchase or lease it again.
Love the vehicle; exactly what I was looking for. Fit my needs perfectly, super clean and exactly what was described to me over the phone. Super low miles too. Crystal was amazing to work with, honest all the way. Quick and easy. Don’t buy from anyone else. McCarty’s is definitely the place to go and I recommend to everyone. I will definitely be back and won’t go anywhere else.
This car I bought used at 3 years old and 52K mi, I now have 87K on it. It is fairly decent on gas. The only problem I have had with it is the car seems to have a problem with bypassing the anti theft system in order to start. I have it to be serviced again. I had an ignition switch replaced 6 mo ago and it started having this problem again. It would start right up after turning key after pushing it in in ignition. then sometimes it wouldn't . it would take 10 to 15 minutes to get it started. The last time I had to leave it at the grocery store parking lot and getting it towed after 45 minutes of doing this
This is the third Ford Escape I have owned. I have stepped up in model each time. This is a Titanium. I am loving all of the ' bells and whistles' it has. It has plenty of leg room front and back; and the cargo space is fabulous. I am loving the moon roof and heated seats, too, as well as the mpg.
Kyle Boynton made shopping for a ???new??? vehicle a pleasure...I wanted a reliable used car with low mileage. I also wanted it to look nice! He arranged for me to try out a cranberry-colored 2015 Legacy with less than 19,000 miles. As soon as I drove it, I knew this was the perfect car for me! I was happy with all the safety features of the car. I feel safe every time I get behind the wheel! Thank you to Kyle, and Jeff Broom for making the entire transaction a good experience.

Most reliable vehicle I have ever owned.

This vehicle has met all my work and family needs. I travel a lot in my work and it has proven to be very reliable and comfortable to drive long distances.
My first service went so smoothly it was actually relaxing. From walking in the door and having Jim O'Keef greet me to having a 30 minutes to actually read current magazines and have a cup of fresh coffee.
No hassles, service was explained clearly ( it was just a 5000 mile checkup). It's going to be a pleasure doing business with Irwin Toyota!!

So far 2017 Ford Escape is Reliable

Found out if we turn the traction control off we get 33 mpg. The vehicle rides nice. Not as much room as our Windstar had, but still pretty nice and seats 4 comfortable and can seat 5. Got the aspirated engine as wanting nothing to do with the turbo. Have not had that long, bought used with around 18K miles, but so far pleased with the vehicle. Nothing fancy, the S model, but seems to be decent transportation.
After having had a bad experience with another dealership, The overall buying experience at Bank's Chevrolet exceeded all my expectations. My custom factory ordered z71 suburban was delivered ahead of schedule with all the options, including the dealer-installed, exactly as ordered, no issues. Thank you Mike Vaillancourt for making this an excellent buying experience!!!
