2017 Ford Explorer review
I have had several Explorers all have been great vehicles. My newest is only a couple years old. I also still have a great running 26 year old with almost 200k miles. Never had a big or expensive problem with either. I can say the same for the BMWs, Mercedes and Infinity’s I have owned…Once these expensive vehicles warranty expired everything but their engine seemed to fall apart. My Fords are reliable and never break down (knock on wood) Not flashy like the imports but solid.

2017 Ford Explorer review
Bought this car in 2019 as my daily driver. It has enough space to transport my large and was very reliable until about 160,000 miles. Gasket seal and O2 sensors failed causing me $800 in repairs. Not super expensive, but like the previous review says check to see if there are any open recalls. Currently at 230,000 miles and still driving. If you follow the suggested maintenance schedule you'll be fine. If not, you'll be in for some trouble.

2017 Ford Explorer review
I have owned Toyota and Honda vehicles for years. I love the space and comfort of my Ford Explorer. However I'm at 68k miles and just had to have my transmission rebuilt. If I didn't love the comfort and ride of this vehicle so much, I would trade it in tomorrow. I have my fingers crossed and praying this vehicle will hold out to 200k miles.

The only problem we had was with the financing and that was not his department. We took advantage of the no pay for first 90 days and it was processed incorrectly. I thought I found the Maverick truck I wanted in Macon, by looking online. But the next morning I was contacted by a person at Jeff Smith in Byron. She told me they had the same truck (XLT, 2.0 turbo engine, 4K tow package, ruby red metallic), but theirs included the luxury package and the black appearance package. And they could sell it to me for the same price Macon was offering theirs that didn't have these packages. I made an appointment to see Tanner Fritz late that afternoon. He had the truck ready for me to see and test drive (I loved it!), and we agreed on a great price. Tanner was great to work with, and the process was smooth and easy. Since I live by myself, and came to shop by myself, and didn't trade in my car, I ended up with 2 vehicles to get home. Tanner offered to bring the Maverick to my house in Warner Robins first thing the next morning. When he delivered it, he paired my phone and showed me a few other things about the Maverick. It was a great experience, and I'm loving my new truck!
