2023 Ford Explorer review
Have only had vehicle for 3 weeks but really like it. I’ve had F150’s for the past 12 years and thought I’d miss my truck, but I’m really enjoying this explorer. It’s more comfortable and fun to drive and the gas mileage is better.

Went straight to Bickford Ford in Snohomish and worked with Branden DuPen. This young gentleman was clean cut, honest, polite & one of the most upright human beings I have met. Branden looked you straight in the eye the entire time he talked, told me what's possible, wha't advisable, and what's not, and was clearly not trying to sell me anything I didn't need or want. He asked questions, let me do most of the talking, and then helped me figure out what I needed. Zero pressure & stress free - the totally opposite of Pierre Ford in Lynnwood.
2022 Ford Explorer review
I am happy with everything about my explorer. Get good gas mileage and is very comfortable ride. Traded my 2020 for this 2022. Love the color and have gotten lots of compliments.

2018 Ford Explorer review
Love this car overall but I have only one complaint. I was putting some boxes in the rear of the car and one of the boxes must have touched the the rear seat folding mechanism as all of a sudden it tried to unfold the seats. If my grandchildren had been sitting there strapped in I hate to think what may have happened!! Wish you had coverage over the mechanism so this wouldn’t happen.

2019 Ford Explorer review
On my third explorer. Tried switching to a Durango and went back after 3 months lol. Great, reliable car! Super comfy! At 47k miles so far never had any issues (so far) except my hood started to rust but ford has a 5 year paint warranty so just had a new one put on a month ago and it’s perfect now

2018 Ford Explorer review
This is my fourth Explorer. I decided in 2018 to order the top-of-the-line Platinum. This vehicle has all the bells and whistles for a person that wants the luxury of one of Fords top models. It has Platinum leather seats that are very comfortable. If you can find today, buy it. It has the 3.5L V6 that has great power on acceleration. You can only buy a V6 now on the 2025 Explorer ST which is a 3.0L. The cost is around $60,000 Loaded.

Wife's car ,working at home not many miles low 20k as of2024 June. Still I wonder about trans fluid because of time. Problem that bugs me is the radio. Dear Bickford Ford, My wife and I have purchased 8 dealer sold cars over the past 45 years without a lot of love for the process or sales folks. Our latest car purchase of a 2025 Bronco Sport from Bickford Ford however was an exceptional experience all around. We had not planned to purchase a car but were in the neighborhood and simply stopped to see a Bronco Sport up close. We ran into Mike Mauer as he was heading out the sales office door. He asked if he could help us in a non-sales polite manner. We said we were interested in learning more about the Bronco Sport but were just looking. Mike was very accommodating with no sales hype or pressure. He is very genuine and knowledgeable. Based on our experience that day we went ahead over the following week settling on the trim package we wanted as Mike tracked down several options. Communication was excellent through e:mail, phone calls, and texts. We are from Chelan and had business in the area over two separate weekends. Mike found the specification we wanted in the Puget Sound area and even picked up the car himself when we returned the following Monday. The entire process was well prepared and faster than we had ever experienced – no “let me talk to my manager” back and forth. We traded in two vehicles as we were downsizing to one car. Mike under-promised and over-delivered in accommodating our selection and taking in our trades. Again, no sales hype. Just a great guy with integrity, sincere communication, and great follow-through skills. We were also impressed with the cleanliness and organization of the facility as well as the efficiency of the accounting and finance team. People seemed happy to be working there. Thank you, Mike Mauer and team for a great car buying experience! By the way: The Bronco Sport Sasquatch edition is an outstanding vehicle to drive.

Best Ford, other than a pickup, I've ever owned. Minor issues and recalls. All fixed or checked expertly here in Woodbridge VA. Only 80,000 miles. All highway. Tows a trailer perfectly straight. 4X4 with tow package. Getting ready to sell. Nobody else in the house to use it ! Lol

I upgraded from a 2017 Explorer Sport to a 2025 Explorer ST. It handles better. It sounds better. It is faster. The interior is way better. The seats hug you. The infotainment system is fast and works really well.

2002 Ford Explorer review
I bought one new in 2003, 211k miles and still going. In 22 years I have had the following maintenance: 1-Alternator, 2- radiators, 2- water pumps, upper ball joint assembly on front passenger side, valve cover gaskets, 1-set of spark plugs, 2- Power module fuses, replaced head liner and the normal tires and Breakpads. Still has the Ford electrical wiring quirks; door ajar faut sensor lights which in the interior dome light will not turn off. All things considered for the amount of space and towing its a good value.

2016 Ford Explorer review
2016 Platinum. Nice SUV, comfortable, very powerful, decent fuel economy, fair build quality, but there are some things to be aware of; the AWD models have a PTU (power transfer unit) which sends power to the rear wheels. It is positioned very close to the exhaust, and the heat generated by the turbochargers literally cooks the gear oil in the PTU, causing it to fail. The unit only holds about a quart of oil, and is NOT serviced or checked, even when you have the vehicle serviced at the dealer. We had trouble with the front camera, and the recirculation actuator on the climate control. If you are considering a used Explorer, I highly recommend buying the best warranty you can! The only complaint I have is the road noise. On new pavement, it's quiet, but on all other roads it's VERY loud inside!

2013 Ford Explorer review
10 years since we bought this vehicle used. It has been awesome, over 110K on the clock; minor problems only. Biggest problems are with brake corrosion caused by very salty roads here. undercarriage corrosion is starting to take its toll. But the vehicle is still good enough we are hesitating to upgrade. Some minor, weird but occasional , electric glitches, mostly self locking. But then, the lack of electronics relative to newer models is a big plus to us. We have now owned this vehicle longer than any other we have ever had. interior issues are with the glove box hinge (plastic and breaks if you are not careful), and elbow rests cracking.

Apple play used to connect but no longer does. Didn’t notice passenger door wasn’t installed properly until I took a road trip and the noise!!! Drivers side arm rest squeaks as though it’s about to come apart. Very noisy engine over 40 mph.

2015 Ford Explorer review
This is is a super good car never broke down for the 6 1/2 years that we owned it. The plastic components in our car are like falling apart (Probably because we have 3 kids who are really good at breaking stuff) but its not bad. In some SMALL areas the paint is starting to bubble but on the newer models ford has fixed this problem. We have used it for off-roading and let me tell you ITS VERY CAPABLE. Also in my opinion it looks nice.

2022 Ford Explorer review
I purchased the 2022 Timberline preowned about 1 month ago with appx 50k miles on it. I was disappointed that it does not have memory seats or a garage door remote button. (I didn't even notice this when test driving it). Who makes a car today with all the tech this car has and leaves off these 2 things! The interior is comfortable & well laid out. The ride is smooth & quiet. 2.3L turbo 4 cylinder is quiet & has amazing power. At idle it’s hard to tell that the engine is even running. The prior owner put on Michelin tires which contribute to the smooth, quiet ride. The seats are ActiveX (Ford’s name for vinyl) with cloth inserts. I’m 5’ 10” and 175lbs. My son who rode with me is 6’ 3” and 250lbs. Both of us found the seats comfortable & supportive on our 1st road trip. I’ve driven a Kia Telluride, which is a direct competitor. The Kia has a little more tech but I found the ride to be on the harsh side, especially in the second row. This may be attributable to the low profile 21” tires. The Timberline has 18” balloon tires which I much prefer. 2 weeks after purchasing it I made a 2,200-mile road trip from Dallas TX to Orgon. Fuel mileage ranged from 21 to 28 with an overall average of 24 mpg. *if I don’t drive over 70 mph on the highway the fuel economy goes up to about 32! *these numbers are from the actual miles & gallons of fuel used, not from the dash numbers, which I found are a little optimistic. It has a few bugs that I’ll have to deal with, but it’s a used Ford & not a Lexus. Overall, I'd say I'm very happy with this car & would recommend it.

Since I was looking at used Toyota Tacoma trucks, I realized that the used Toyota truck market to be more speedy than I first thought. In fact my wife sort of got sticker shock. All said, I'm feeling quite overwhelmed by the number of used Tacoma's out there. I wonder where the new unsold 2024's are. At this writing, I'm also open to the extra cab 4x4 Rangers. Driving experience is great. Either engine is plenty of power but even the base 2.3l is very fast. Rear wheel drive bias is noticeable in driving dynamics making it fun to drive. The new Google based infotainment system one of the best in the industry in my opinion.. Almost don't even need a phone with how smart it is. Blue cruise is very convenient for long monotonous highway drives if equipped

I love my ST all except for seating. I’m just not a fan of European style seating soo we had an upholstery shop up grade them. Sooo much fun to drive! Great gas mileage considering I’m a lead foot. And when needed you can put a full 4x8 sheet of plywood in the back.

2022 Ford Explorer review
I love this vehicle. My 2022 Ford Explorer XLT far exceeds my expectations. Handling is great. Performance is far better than expected. Gas mileage is 26mpg combined average for the 16,500 miles I have on the vehicle so far. The interior fit and finish could be better and the original tires...not holding up very well. The vehicle is comfortable and always a pleasure to drive. I always get compliments on the exterior style. In my opinion, it's one of the better looking SUV's on the road. The rear biased drive train give it superior handling, better than anything I test drove. Chevy, Subaru, or the Kia.
