2021 Ford Explorer review
I often drive to the Michigan upper pennisula in the winter. This SUV has never disappointed me. One time I was driving up to Sault Ste Marie early in the morning. The road was slippery with blowing snow. The outside air temp was MINUS 41. i was alone with hardly ever seeing another vehicle. I kept thinking "trust this vehicle" because my life literally depended on it. I had no problems. And everything was on high - the defroster, rear defrost, heated steering wheel, heated seat, radio and keeping my phone charger plugged in. And in case you wonder why I would venture out in these conditions - I was called for jury duty and made it on time !! It has also gotten me out of deep snow.

2023 Ford Explorer review
This is the first explorer that I have owned in nearly 30 years. I am coming from a ram 1500. I am surprised how comfortable this explorer is I’m really enjoying the gas mileage between 21 to 23 in town. I have not taken a trip on the highway yet.

2023 Ford Explorer review
Have only had vehicle for 3 weeks but really like it. I’ve had F150’s for the past 12 years and thought I’d miss my truck, but I’m really enjoying this explorer. It’s more comfortable and fun to drive and the gas mileage is better.

I was looking for a 1st car for my 18 yo son who just got his license, we came across a used vehicle listed online from City World Ford, i walked in one day to receive some information on the vehicle and the gentleman who helped me was very patient, informative and knowledgeable even though the vehicle i was interested in was a of a different make. I will say thst 1 thing I was not too excited about was the length of time the whole process was, most of it was due to insurance issues and having to get on the phone with carrier to correct some things, so it was beyond the staffs control, Aaron is a great asset to this dealership, the finance department was also great, only thing is I would like to have more details and options on the kind of insurance / coverage to be able to select from. I do not live close to this dealership but would definitely give them a call or at least a look next time I am in the market for a new or used vehicle.

Although pricey, this truck is awesome to drive . Very sharp looking and runs fast! I highly recommend ! We went from a Flex to this car and it was a seamless transition.

2023 Ford Explorer review
Quiet, comfortable and powerful car. I have the twin turbo that puts out 400 hp. General gas mileage is 19-20 city and 24-25 highway. The only thing that I would change on this vehicle is that I would like to be able to turn off some of the automatic operations on a semi-permanent basis.

I love my ST all except for seating. I’m just not a fan of European style seating soo we had an upholstery shop up grade them. Sooo much fun to drive! Great gas mileage considering I’m a lead foot. And when needed you can put a full 4x8 sheet of plywood in the back.

2025 Ford Explorer review
I purchased a 2025 Ford Explorer Platinum with the 3.0 liter 6 cyclinder. The car has lots of power and drives well. It has lots of acceleration and easily pulls a 5000 lb trailer. Things I like about the car: 1. Heated and cooled front massage seats. On a long drive the massage seats are fabulous! 2. Very good radio/sound system 3. Wireless Apple/Android connectivity 4. Lots of cargo space What I dislike: 1. Gas mileage between 19-22 mpg 2. Lane departure system annoying 3. Had a rattle noise in the front of the car at 9000 miles that the dealer could not find. At 11,000 miles, the rattle mysteriously went away. No idea what is going on here. 4. Sometimes when I open the rear hatch, the chime sounds loudly, The next time it does not sound at all. Wish I could just turn it off. ??

Apple play used to connect but no longer does. Didn’t notice passenger door wasn’t installed properly until I took a road trip and the noise!!! Drivers side arm rest squeaks as though it’s about to come apart. Very noisy engine over 40 mph.

2016 Ford Explorer review
2016 Platinum. Nice SUV, comfortable, very powerful, decent fuel economy, fair build quality, but there are some things to be aware of; the AWD models have a PTU (power transfer unit) which sends power to the rear wheels. It is positioned very close to the exhaust, and the heat generated by the turbochargers literally cooks the gear oil in the PTU, causing it to fail. The unit only holds about a quart of oil, and is NOT serviced or checked, even when you have the vehicle serviced at the dealer. We had trouble with the front camera, and the recirculation actuator on the climate control. If you are considering a used Explorer, I highly recommend buying the best warranty you can! The only complaint I have is the road noise. On new pavement, it's quiet, but on all other roads it's VERY loud inside!

Wife's car ,working at home not many miles low 20k as of2024 June. Still I wonder about trans fluid because of time. Problem that bugs me is the radio. Static in AM off and on ,and of course the business station 1220am about the market. UGH!! Third lease of explorer, so low in miles ,made it a purchase. 🤞👍

I was recommended by a friend to come to NJstateauto as they work with lower credit in the 500s and with low down-payment too seeing that I was struggling financially because of family issues and only had 500 to put down. Since I had been declined in other dealerships I was ok with getting an older vehicle to get by for now like a 2013 for under 7k but never was I expecting to drive out with a 2018 Honda! Nour my Salesman helped me out with the entire process and set me up with a payment plan with his manager and also helped me all the way even with insurance!
