Mark McLarty Toyota review
Tried to work a deal over the phone. Gentleman was nice, but really didn't want to deal. Wanted me to drive 2.5 hours to talk to him. Two days later they dropped the price of the Highlander when they wouldn't budge when I spoke with him. When he called me back the next day after speaking with him at first, I mentioned I was looking (not anywhere near buying) at another vehicle at another dealership closer to me. At that point he ended the call and I haven't heard back from him. Two weeks later and the vehicle is still on the lot or at least still on Cars.com. I thought about calling back, but I have lost interest in doing the dance. Again, nice guy, but just give me the bottom line and let's work a deal before I have to drive hours to get to see the car in person. I think he was held back by his sales manager from budging on any deal.
2016 Ford F-150 review
2016 is a good yr since there is limited electronic safety features. Truck has excellent ride, is quiet and gets great gas mileage with the 2.7 liter V6. My F150 has a 36 gallon tank and I've gotten over 1000 miles per fill up.

2021 Ford F-150 review
The 3.3 engine is very reliable and a simple V6 My truck is geared 3:73 which I can still average 24 mpg hiway and sometimes I see 25. I believe the Motorcraft 5W20 is the best option for the engine in the retail shelf market. It outperforms in every category compared to the big brands available. 7500 miles is easily obtained without having consumption issues. For the person who isn’t in need of high hp and wants a truck for long term ownership I would recommend getting the 3.3 engine.

Next time I’m in the market I’ll be going back to Carson at McLarty NLR for sure. I usually don’t enjoy shopping for vehicles, but he was so friendly and knowledgeable that it made the entire experience painless. I did not purchase a vehicle during my visit but when I’m ready to buy, I know who I’m paying a visit to.

This is a great truck. Good acceleration, towing, and four-wheel drive. I am definitely a Ford lover now. Can't go wrong with this truck. Mine is a 5.0L and can't find a fault with it after four years of ownership.

Great dealership, where I purchased a vehicle and am now having it serviced they also gave me a courtesy shuttle home
2023 Ford F-150 review
2023 F150 Lariat. Just bought this used so these are my first impressions. So far very happy with the truck. Comfortable and handles nicely. V-6 seems very responsive. My issues at this point are related to my ability to setup this truck the way I want it. I am lucky that it came with the feature for automatic shutoff every time you stop for a red light already permanently removed. I would hate that feature if it had it. There is a lot of other features I would just as soon not have that I have had varying levels of success in turning off. Automatic lane keeping is one. While I was able to turn it off in the settings, it still interferes with setting cruise control. When I try to turn cruise control on it sets lane keeping anyway and I have to turn it off with another button press, while showing a stupid truck icon on the dash instead of my speed. I have to press an OK button to turn lane keeping off, then it will set the cruise control. All these button presses and having to look at the dash while doing this are very distracting and increases the time I'm not looking at the road, actually making the truck less safe. You really have to pick your time for setting cruise control. The automatic braking is another dangerous feature in my view. Thankfully I was able to turn that one off. The truck will beep 2 times if the engine is running and you get out, like to check your mailbox. It is irritating at best, not just for me, but for my neighbors, especially early in the morning or late at night. There is no mute button on the steering wheel for the radio, that I can find at least. I had this feature on other trucks and found it very helpful. Reverse brake assist makes no sense to me at all. I turned it off, but it is another one that puts a warning message on the dash to tell me that. I find the warning messages for the features I have turned off distracting and useless. These are my first impressions, there will probably be more later.

2022 Ford F-150 review
2022 F150 PowerBoost 3.5 twin turbo absolutely hauls xxx with phenomenal gas mileage on a 30 gallon tank. I’ve gotten a true 600 and 700 miles out of a tank of gas when it’s in Eco mode it will run on battery alone if you’re on flat level ground and maintain your speed that’s how they obtain so many miles out of a tank full of gas probably one of the best F1 50s I’ve owned and I’ve had several of them. If you leave it in tow Haul mode it will disengage the auto stop start so the vehicle remains on. It’s been absolutely bullet proof with zero issues. If I’m not driving the Dually Diesel F350 I’m driving this..

2020 Ford F-150 review
I’m the proud owner of a 2020 F 150 XL regular cab and I’m seriously in love with my truck. Comfortable, versatile, good mileage, low maintenance, and a real kick to drive. The regular cab makes for a sharp look and turns heads, and I get stopped by people who compliment me on my sharp looking truck. She’s just an all around great ride! My Eco Boost engine is more than adequate for everything short of really heavy towing and buddies always ask if my engine is an 8 cylinder when I put the truck through her paces. The AWD performs great off road and has never let me down even when I’ve deliberately put my truck in tight spots I thought she might not get me out of. In short, my F 150 is my best buddy and can be depended on to keep me out of trouble even when I push her to the limit! So, I’m a believer and proud F 150 guy. I really can’t think of anything I don’t like about my truck.

2022 Ford F-150 review
My experience with Ford F1 50s is that they have gotten better with time. I’ve owned three now and my latest 2022. I’ve had zero performance issues. None of the electrical problems like somebody put in a review no transmission no engine problems nothing. It’s a 3.5 L V6 eco-boost and it has the best passing power of any vehicle I’ve ever owned. It can also toll anything in the backup cameras and all the front and above cameras are absolutely essential and work great. Most of all it has had a couple of recalls they’ve taken a bit of time, but I don’t care if they recalls. I’m not paying for them. None of them have been major things all have been fixed. Undoubtedly this is the most comfortable vehicle I’ve ever driven. It’s quiet it rides like a comfort sedan and it has a large enough gas tank to get me a couple of states. The hard roll up Ford cover is much less expensive than some aftermarket types. It’s not floppy. It’s solid and easy to use. This baby has been in the field. I’ve hunted and harvested a half a dozen deer with this beast out in the middle of nowhere of North Dakota. It’s completely reliable.

Jay Hodge Ford Morrilton review
My wife and I have bought two vehicles here over the last few years, one under the prior owner and one under this ownership. Both times the salesmen were professional, knowledgeable, and importantly never tried to pressure us. My last purchase, which was in June of '23, that of a used '18 F150, was possibly the least stressful purchase I have ever made. I drove the truck one day and wanted to think about it. I received a call a day or so later from them and made an offer. An hour later they called accepting the offer, and when I showed up, it took all of 20 minutes to do the paperwork and drive off in a beautiful pickup that I have enjoyed immensely. James Kyzer and Steve Pruitt in particular are great salesmen. In addition, they have done the maintenance on our Ford and Lincoln branded vehicles. We've never had a complaint with them. They are polite; work with you for the time that is best for you; and do not try to upsell you. We have no problem recommending them to anyone.

2023 Ford F-150 review
A little choppy on dirt roads, feel the uneven paved road surfaces. I attribute this to the 4X4 suspension. Excellent payload , 1865 lbs.for the non-turbo 3.3 liter which has been stellar performer in 35K miles. I average 24mpg all weather. Very good drive modes, sport kicks it up to V8 feel, shift on the fly seamless. Handles great with loads 1000 lbs. plus. Hot riding vinyl seats are sport like hugging you, difficult to turn around to look out the back window. I don't rely solely on back up camera because it does hide the corners where pedestrians are. Confining driving position barely allows for my 6 foot frame. Seats belong in a sports car, not a truck! I should have got the cloth seats! The cab lacks much space behind seats for a small cooler of water or duffel bag. The transmission was clunky in the first 4 months. I think it was the computer adjusting for driving habits. The 12" touch screen has many features and can be turned off. Integrated phone is easy set up, Personal music can be played or built in music apps. The maps are great showing satellite view and North South configuration based on direction view. Service often freezes when you get in valleys. The worst feature is vehicle manual on computer, takes 10x longer to find what you are looking for. Ask Ford to order a printed booklet! The instrument panel is well laid out however the steering wheel sometimes obstructs information. The tilt, telescope wheel is perfect for shorter drivers. There are many cluster views to choose from and two trip odometers, a big plus. I choose one layout for all driving. Took a long time to get used to where radio controls are as I was always turning down the blower motor switch. Blower motor has 8 speeds and whisper quiet up to 5. Also has an ac booster for quick cab cooling, heat, nice! The stereo has equalizer, 4 speakers and will blow out your ear drums unless you have deafness. I find the adjustments for instrument brightness, headlights, fog, and bed lights to be very awkward, An afterthought by Ford engineers? Placed at lower left below segregated instrument layout. Needs to be easily visible, not hidden from view and adjustment. The high beams light up the next county and 50 feet up the treeline. Not sure I need to see owls in the trees, but I can. The flash to pass feature needs to be more blinks, changing lanes that fast is dangerous. The windshield is large and raked offering a full road view and pillars don't obstruct the roadway. The rear view camera can be used while driving and shows tailgaters. The rear window has defrost, tint. The tint is great but defrost is imo a dumb idea. Window easily defrosts with heat or defogs with ac. This isn't a car! I chose Ford over competition because my last F150 gave me 400K, never left me stranded, had a great V6, super good tranny and decent fuel mileage. I like the payload, handling, maps and my music from my apps. I like the aluminum clad where my last steel truck started rusting everywhere. The weight is nimble feel while driving, almost sporty on twisty roadways with very good acceleration and quicker stopping. The cost of ownership is less than foreign and many domestic. I have no recalls in 2 years. I drive in snow often, the handling and my confidence level are excellent but I still have weight in the bed for traction since this is 700 lbs. lighter than my 2013. McLarty Nissan of North Little Rock review
I had a great experience at McLarty Nissan of North Little Rock. Carson and the sales staff were courteous, professional, and respectful throughout the entire process. No pressure, just honest communication and solid customer service. I’d definitely recommend working with Carson if you’re in the market.
2020 Ford F-150 review
Yep, it's big. It's a 2-in-1 vehicle that I jokingly call a caruck. The grandkids love it and so do my wife and I. I wanted one with an 8' bed, but that one wouldn't fit in the garage, so I settled for a 6.5 bed. The F-150 is comfortable, easy to drive, and gets surprisingly good gas mileage. That mileage drops a bit when towing. I use mine for family and for managing the farm. My only slight hangup is that I can't figure out how to handle the air conditioning for the back seat occupants. On a side note, I think city planners and architects were planning on things downsizing and this thing is anything but downsized. It fits almost everywhere and when it doesn't, it fits almost always somewhere close enough. I love it and would definitely buy another one.

Mark McLarty Ford review
I had a great experience purchasing my Ford F-150 from **Mark McLarty Ford**, and I want to recognize the people who made the experience a positive one: **Hosea Dortch, my salesperson; Keith Clark in Finance; and James “JB” Bryan, General Manager**. Hosea was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with from start to finish. He took the time to answer my questions and made the buying process comfortable without making me feel pressured. Keith Clark was outstanding on the finance side. He was patient, thorough, and took the time to explain the paperwork and financing details so I understood exactly what I was signing. I also appreciate **James “JB” Bryan, General Manager**, for the way he leads the dealership and the level of professionalism I experienced during my purchase. It is clear that customer service is important at Mark McLarty Ford. Overall, I am very happy with my F-150 and with the people I dealt with at Mark McLarty Ford. **Hosea, Keith Clark, and James “JB” Bryan all deserve recognition for making my experience a good one.** I would definitely recommend **Mark McLarty Ford** to anyone looking for a Ford, and I would be happy to do business with them again.

2019 Ford F-150 review
I should have gotten a 4 wheel drive to begin with. Traded in a 2018 F-150 STX 2X4 that was a nice truck but this is definitely an upgrade! The 3.5L accelerates quickly (beware leadfoot!) and pulls much easier than the 2.7L I traded away. Little difference in fuel mileage (I'm averaging around 1.4 mpg less with the larger engine) but worth the trade off. The interior is loaded with power, heated seats (both), upgraded navigation system and better quality stereo system. Heated mirrors and sliding rear window are a nice touch. This is my first 4X4 and it was really surprised at the torque output pulling out a couple of small trees and hauling away a 65' pine we had cut down. Much easier and more powerful than the 2.7L offered! Got it with low mileage and a pretty decent trade-in deal too. Think I'll keep it until the wheels fall off!

2023 Ford F-150 review
My experience is very positive. Great looks. Great power. Fit finish inside and out first class. Handling on road no complaints. Off road the truck is a beast. 34” tires help appearance and ground clearance. I think it’s the right choice in this segment of trucks. But man the recalls blow. This axle bolt half shaft one has taken forever to get done. It kinda throws manure on a great truck. Other than that it’s a keeper ! The ecoboost 3.5 is really strong. It also sounds like a small V6 which is not so great. As long as it keeps small V6ing and doesn’t break I’m good. But no coyote sound check needed. The paint is maybe the biggest surprise. It’s really good. Interior highlights are just normal comfortable observations. Nothing over the top but adequate. It handles deep snow well. It handles 75 mph in 100 degree heat well. It’s smooth sleek and fast. Stopping power is real good. I’d buy another one for sure. It has the recall issues but they all do so that’s all l gotta say about that.

2018 Ford F-150 review
Eight years in my Ford truck. I love it. I looked at GM trucks (Chevy & GMC), still nowhere nears as comfortable as a Ford. Yes I’ve had all the known issues but carried warranties for my truck so transmission has been overhauled. Cam phasers twice (Covered by Ford one and Warranty 2nd time). Just overhauled the front end (bushings, control arm assembly, etc…). Truck still runs like new and rides even better now than when I bought, she is finally broken in and I love my truck. For taller drivers like me, Ford is way to go. Ford has more cabin space than any other truck out there. Ford trucks have the best styling and more towing capacity than anything else in the mkt. Next truck will either be a Raptor or F-250 super duty.

2020 Ford F-150 review
I was searching for a specific vehicle and I found a few on cars.com. 2020 F-150 Super Cab 2.7L Ecoboost, 10 speed transmission. At first I was concerned since I've never had a truck with a small V6. I was looking for good HP and good MPG. I liked the sporty trim STX look. Great acceleration and great MPG. Much better than my previous 2006 F-150 5.4L, which was a great truck, but it was time for a change. I do recommend this vehicle if you want MPG, power, and great towing capacity.
