It was easy working with my salesman and service contact. Both are no longer there. Recent service was with a different CSR and went well. My son recently wanted to pay for a future oil change etc for me and while the dealership finanally wotked it out; having gift cards available would have been most convenient.
We worked with Sean Turner, and he was excellent. Very attentive and careful to make sure I was getting everything I wanted. I was a first time buyer and very nervous, but he made the process very smooth and efficient. Will definitely recommend to others in the future, and will continue to use this dealership. Very happy with the customer service!
Shopping for a car for my teenage daughter had been difficult, but Marsh Auto Sales made it easy. They have 4 or 5 cars in my price range, with good looking vehicles for the price. I sent them an inquiry, and within 30 minutes received a reply to reach out to them with any additional questions. When I arrived, they not only had the cars I saw on Cars.com, but others, and I bought a car that evening. They fixed a couple of issues with the car (put a new light bulb in the headlight, and fixed a sticky door handle), and I picked it up the next morning. The best part was there were not a lot of additional costs. They only charge a paper work fee, but not a delivery fee and a cleaning detail fee, and they didn't charge extra give a printout of the carfax and fix the items I asked to have fixed. Great Experience!

Waiting area and the whole new car area is in desperate need of updates. Feels old and dirty. Service department is the only reason I go and that isn't much better. The last 2 visits, one or two service writers working and they do not like making eye contact to acknowledge you.
Sal makes the buying process painless. He is very attentive to your needs, but won't promise you something just because that's what you want to hear. What I really liked, though, is only having to meet with Sal. I didn't have to meet all of his managers and repeat everything to them what I had just explained to Sal. I buy from Sal because he is trustworthy and sincere. I also didn't have to pay a doc fee. Apparently dealers have the option whether or not to pass this fee on to their customers. After doing some research, some dealers in the area even charge the maximum that the state of Michigan allows. That just sounds greedy to me. Thank you Sal and Russ Milne for providing an experience that puts the customer first.
We have been dealing with Jim Shepherd and crew since we moved to Richmond in 1995 and refuse to go anywhere else for sales or service. We've always received service with loving, caring, "family" excellence. We just bought a "new" used vehicle for my wife and got a better deal than any other dealer. I bought my Focus from Jim Shepherd years ago, sight unseen. Told him want I wanted in a car as I needed one. He arranged all finances and picked me out a car that exceeded my expectations and with a lower price and payments than expected. Same as today with my wife needing a "new" used vehicle. Walked in, told the team what I needed and what I could afford and they set my wife up in a "like new" Mercury Mariner with all the bells and whistles at 2.17% APR which is fantastic. Just took my car in for service and good going over as it's high mileage with orders to "fix/change/flush anything that needed fixing." Instead of a high dollar bill, I got a reasonable bill for only necessary upkeep and good for another 20K miles all within one day, car washed and cleaned upon return. Greatest service department in my life. One cannot say too much about the team at Shepherd Sales and Service. In all honesty, if you're going anywhere else, you're doing yourself and your pocketbook a disservice. May God bless Jim Shepherd and his team as you will not find nicer, more caring and helpful people on this planet. Going anywhere else...is just wrong. My husband and I had a wonderful experience working with Sellers Subaru and especially with Jazlyn's help. It took me about 5 months to finally make a purchase and Jazlyn always answered my questions in a timely and professional manner. We have another Subaru dealership closer to us, but we decided to go the extra distance so we could work with Sellers Subaru. Finance manager Kyle was also helpful explaining the additional options available to add to the car. It would have been nice to have known about these additional add-ons such as windshield protection, tire repair, etc. BEFORE the actual signing of the sale. I don't like to make these additional purchases without time to think about them. On a side note they have a great coffee and snack bar!
Went to Skalnek to look at an Avenger (it was sold), after speaking with Doug Lutz... he was able to find me a better car at a great price! The process was easy and fast, Doug provided me with a clean carfax. Best thing about the visit was the car just happened to be just what my son wanted... a clean Ford Fusion! Thanks Doug!
Everyone hates the process of going car shopping- me included - but not here! As a businesswoman I had limited time, had done my homework on the vehicle I wanted. So from John Dew my salesman who coordinated the meet, bringing in finance and the owner to help me make the deal happen I am extremely grateful. Every one of them were so helpful and polite. I will recommend and go there again and again.
