This was my first experience with Honda of Slidell, and it was a positive one. The general atmosphere of the dealership seemed very friendly. I worked with Joshua Vides through the main part of sales process, and I was happy that he did not subject me to a high-pressure type of sales style. He was very personable, patient, and easy to work with, so I would recommend those in the market for a vehicle to give him an opportunity to earn their business. While there, I also interacted with Daniel Mortenson and Arthur Warning, who were involved in the sales and finance processes, respectively. They rounded out my experience with the same friendliness and no-pressure approach as Joshua. I would recommend a visit to Honda of Slidell.
Purchasing a car from a distance is hard to do, however Shadiah Martin with Honda of Slidell did a great job staying in contact with my husband and I. She sent videos and several pictures and facetimed me, showing the details of the car. We had great experience with Shadiah and Honda of Slidell.

Recently purchased a used Tahoe. Great vehicle with a few minor scratches. Oscar had all scratches fixed plus a few I didn’t notice without delay. Promptly returned phone call. I would highly recommend this dealership from sales to the final service.
I purchased a pilot on August 18th and made sure I let the finance dept know when I was signing my paperwork that I wanted a specialty plate. It was written all over my paperwork. The title dept did what they wanted to do and got a regular plate. I wouldn't have known about this if I hadn't called to check the status of my plate. Now my temp tag expires tomorrow (10/17/18) and still no specialty plate. If they hadn't messed up in the beginning, I would have my plate. I never got an apology from them at all. That's all I wanted was to acknowledge your mistake. I shouldn't have to call up behind them about my license plate. I am very upset and was very irate and I deserve to be because this should have been taken care of from the beginning. I have left several messages including to the executive assistant and no return phone calls as of today 10/16/18 @ 7:33pm. I am very disappointed.
They have a lot of inventory, but the automobile that I went to look at had a little more damage than I assumed it had, and the interior had a strong smoke smell. I wish I had known prior to coming to the lot. It was also a bit difficult to figure out where to park in the parking lot, and I could not figure out where the front desk was once I was inside. However, the price of the automobiles was extremely low for the mileage so I guess that is a good check and balance for the entire atmosphere.
Very impressed with the friendly and professional staff. I did not feel haggled or pressured at all. They connected me on a vehicle I posted on craigslist and bought my car, close to what I wanted, just like they said they would.
